The Day Stephen Harper Went Off the Deep End
I always knew he was dangerous. And that madness ran in his family.
I knew the first Harper to arrive in Canada had to removed from office for "violent and oppressive measures vindictive beyond all reason."
I knew one of his grandfathers committed suicide, and that he was prone to violent rages, and frightening bouts of depression.
But today Stephen Harper finally went over the deep end.
For when asked by Tom Mulcair to explain why we're the only coalition country to send its forces to the frontlines in Iraq? And when did he decide to send Canadian troops into combat?
Watch how he reacts...
“I know the opposition thinks it’s a terrible thing that we’re actually standing up to jihadists. I know they think it’s a terrible thing that some of these jihadists got killed when they fired on the Canadian military. I don’t know what other militaries are doing, but I know that ours are doing exactly what this Parliament asked to do, and that Canadians are behind them.”
Can you believe it? By accusing the opposition of being terrorist supporters, or jihadis themselves.
And if you thought that was disturbing, then watch the video his taxpayer funded 24/Seven propaganda channel released yesterday...
Just two days after the military released this video...
And if you had trouble telling the difference between one video and the other, don't worry you are not alone. For as Paul Wells points out, even a Con MP was confused.
Can you tell the difference? I can’t tell the difference. Neither, apparently, can Laurie Hawn, the retired Canadian Forces officer who serves as a Conservative MP for an Edmonton riding. He tweeted the second video, which isn’t a PMO production, as a “24 Seven exclusive,” before getting it right the second time.
And well he might be confused, because, at this writing (subject to change at any moment, one suspects), the Canadian Forces video is currently posted to YouTube on the PM’s promotional channel.
And then ask yourself why do the two videos resemble each other? Why were they released two days apart? Why is the military's video on the Prime Minister's propaganda channel? Why are the generals allowing our armed forces to be used for sinister political purposes?
And above all, why is Stephen Harper trying to scare Canadians into voting for him, claiming only he can protect us, while making all our lives more DANGEROUS?
Prime Minister Stephen Harper has referred directly to Canadian soldiers killing radical Islamic fighters in Iraq, and opposition MPs say his ramped-up tempo may actually be hazardous talk that could affect the security of the troops as well as the public in Canada.
“I don’t think it increases the security of our soldiers in Iraq. I don’t think it increases the security of Canadians,” he said. “I think that our stepping outside of what the coalition is doing in terms of engaging in firefights on the frontline is potentially identifying Canada as maybe a particular target.”
And since the MSM won't dare give you a straight answer on that one, or tell it like it is, I will.
Because like that other Simon in Lord of the Flies who understood when he saw the pig's head, who was the real monster.
After watching Harper closely for more than nine years, I too know a monster when I see one...
And I'm pretty sure I know why he's doing what he's doing. Why he sent our troops into combat, and why he's shooting off his mouth all the time.
And it's not just because he's over compensating for his somewhat less than heroic performance during the shooting on Parliament Hill...
Although I'm sure that does have something to do with it. His nerdly manliness has been been offended.
The real reason is because he would WELCOME another terrorist attack, so he's actually trying to PROVOKE one.
And if one of our soldiers should be killed or beheaded, well that would be helpful too.
So he can profit from the wave of fear and emotion, like he did after the deaths of those two soldiers...
And use it to win another bloody majority.
You know, I never thought I would write something like that about a Canadian Prime Minister. I never thought it would get this bad. Or that we could fall so low.
But then Harper is a Canadian like no other. He doesn't really live here or share our values. He inhabits his own head where depravity rules. He is a clinical psychopath who doesn't give a damn about anybody else but HIMSELF.
And because of that he's capable of ANYTHING.
And there is only one message that needs to be repeated over and over again, and never more urgently:
This country is in the hands of a maniac.
We're all in terrible danger...
He will literally KILL to be Prime Minister.
And we will not be safe, or Canada again.
Until the day that monster is defeated...
