A few days ago I wrote a post about Stephen Harper's appearance on an American right-wing talk show.
Where he claimed that the only reason he lost the 2015 election was because the media was united against him.
And like others I wondered whether he had returned to replace the hapless Andrew Scheer as interim leader.
But now I believe that we can all relax, because it doesn't look like Harper will be going anywhere...
In my last post I looked at how Stephen Harper is now blaming the Con media for his humiliating loss to Justin Trudeau.
And I had a good laugh, for it sounded so ridiculous.
But I'm not laughing anymore.
Because now a Con in Quebec is comparing Harper to Churchill...
In October it will be five years since a pale, shell shocked Stephen Harper stumbled out into the night after being humiliated by Justin Trudeau, the leader he claimed wasn't ready.
Since that fateful night Harper hasn't had anything to say about why he lost the election.
But now in an interview with the right-wing talk show host Dennis Prager, Great Failed Leader is finally pointing the shaky finger of blame.
And believe it or not, he's blaming the Con media!!!
It was just another day in the Con clown leadership race, but before it was over the real face of the Harper Party had been revealed. Again.
And it couldn't be more ugly.
Or for the Cons more like the Day of the Dead.
In one of my recent posts I mentioned that Stephen Harper had been spotted stumbling around in his zombie crypt.
And was threatening to intervene in the Con leadership race, to make sure the party he created remained the Harper Party.
Well now EVERYONE should take cover.
Because Great Zombie Leader has left the land of the living dead...
Two years ago Stephen Harper told an American audience that he could still "easily" be Con leader, but didn't want to turn the party into his "personal political vehicle."
But now he is working behind the scenes to elect the next leader.
An associate told the Star that Harper is supportive of a number of those seen as contenders for the leadership, including his former parliamentary secretary Pierre Poilievre and former cabinet ministers Peter MacKay and Erin O’Toole.
Which couldn't be more disastrous for his zombie party.
Once upon a time Andrew Scheer's Twitter feed pumped out a grotesque anti-Trudeau attack ad about every six hours, seven days a week.
But now that torrent of Con diarrhoea has all but dried up, along with Scheer's
creepy smile which has apparently been replaced by a look of sheer terror.
As he comes to terms with the reason he was forced to resign so suddenly.
On Thursday, Andrew Scheer announced that he had decided to resign as Con leader claiming that he wanted to spend more time with his family.
But yesterday he decided to skip Question Period.
And as it turns out, for a very good reason.
I knew Andrew Scheer would be a poor loser. He was so sure he was going to win, and he lives in his own dark reality.
So I knew he could never accept the way he was humiliated by Justin Trudeau.
Still I was hoping that Scheer might eventually decide to do the honourable thing and resign.
But sadly it seems the Ugly American isn't going anywhere.
Last April Andrew Scheer had a secret meeting in a secluded lodge in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, to discuss how best to defeat Justin Trudeau's Liberals.
The day-long strategy session, held April 11 at the Azuridge Estate Hotel in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, brought together some of Calgary’s most prominent business leaders and high-profile Conservatives and their operatives at the invitation of a little-known pro-oil advocacy group called the Modern Miracle Network.
And one of the reasons it was so secret was the presence of a Republican operative with a very unsavoury reputation.
I have to admit that when I first saw the video Stephen Harper made for Andrew Scheer I was stunned.
I couldn't believe that the Cons thought that Harper could help them.
When to someone like me who spent so many years fighting him and his ugly regime it seemed more like a horror story.
We always knew that Stephen Harper never really went away. And that he was still lurking in the shadows whispering into Andrew Scheer's ears. And pulling his strings.
The two men were always were very careful to keep their close relationship under wraps.
But now Scheer is desperate, he's been slipping in the polls.
So now Harper is coming out of shadowy closet.
As you may know, I'm not a member of the Michelle Rempel fan club.
I consider her one of the most aggressive members of the Con cult. She's always making wild accusations, and complaining that Alberta is getting screwed by the rest of Canada.
She insults the Prime Minister all the time in the most vulgar manner.
Her YouTube channel is a real horror show.
Ever since it was recently revealed that Andrew Scheer consults his mentor Stephen Harper before making any major decisions, an old and deeply disturbing question is being asked again.
Who is the real leader of the Cons?
Some say Scheer aka Weak Andy is just humouring Harper because he's afraid of him...
It's been an embarrassing week so far for Andrew Scheer. On Monday he skipped Question Period so he could pose for pictures of himself dressed in a Raptor's red hoodie.
So he could pretend to be a fan, bask in the glory if they won, and no doubt blame Trudeau if they lost.
But as we know they did lose, there was no fake glory.
And instead the desperate Schmearmonger had to deal with not ONE, not TWO, but THREE massive embarrassments in a row.
When I heard that Doug Ford had decided to give himself and his government a five-month vacation until the federal election was over, I wasn't really surprised.
I'd heard he'd found running a province about a hundred thousand times more exhausting than running a small label factory, and needed to take the whole summer off or he'd collapse.
But then I starting hearing stories that Andrew Scheer's Cons had put pressure on him to crawl under a rock before his plunging popularity also took them down...
Who can forget how Stephen Harper tried to fool us, or brainwash us, into believing that he was a Great Economist Leader.
And how it all ended in dismal failure.
But now Andrew Scheer is trying to make us believe that he too can be a Great Economist Leader.
And he's also heading for disaster, and looking like an idiot.
Well the fake scandal is now more than a month old, and it's starting to look its age. A little wizened, a little flaky, a little green around the gills
But if you thought it might finally keel over, or return to its crypt, before it drives most decent Canadians crazy.
Well I'm sorry to say you're going to be disappointed.
For the creepy Cons and the slobbering Con media would like it to continue for at least another eight months, or all the way to the next election.
I don't know when Alberta first became the vile hate mongering place it is today. Maybe it was before my time.
Or maybe ten years of the greasy oil pimp Stephen Harper made it think that it was better than all the other provinces put together.
A little bit of ugly America in Canada.
But what nobody can deny is that it is a hate mongering place.
And these are just the latest examples.
It was quite the scene the other day. Emmanuel Macron at the Arc de Triomphe warning about the dangers of the new far-right nationalism, and accusing those who support it, of betraying patriotism.
While Donald Trump sat there looking like he was about to explode.
And in fact did explode, when he returned home, and fired off a stream of crude and childish tweets in the general direction of Macron. As only that man beast could.
But while Justin Trudeau, and I'm sure most Canadians, naturally sided with Macron against the bully Trump.
One well known Canadian bully, Stephen Harper, did not.
