When I first saw Canadian soldiers arriving at long term care homes in Ontario and Quebec I must admit I was shocked.

I didn't think they had the training or the equipment to be able to do much good. 

But boy was I wrong.

I always knew that the beast Doug Ford was going to be a destructive force, and sure enough he has been.

He has bulldozed decency, teachers and children, and will no doubt soon start demolishing medicare.

In my last post I looked at how the Jason Kenney is assaulting Alberta's democracy, acting like a dictator, and making Alberta look like a banana or bitumen republic.

Going after those who would dare defy Big Oil, or dare investigate his corrupt government.

And even making plans to replace the RCMP, that is investigating his leadership campaign, with a police force he can control.

It's a public relations disaster.

So I was surprised to see how quickly the loser Andrew Scheer came running when Kenney blew his bullshit whistle.

How Stephen Harper Came Back To Help The Liberals

I have to admit that when I first saw the video Stephen Harper made for Andrew Scheer I was stunned.

I couldn't believe that the Cons thought that Harper could help them.

When to someone like me who spent so many years fighting him and his ugly regime it seemed more like a horror story.

Andrew Scheer's Desperate Medicare Scam

Andrew Scheer has managed to conceal what he really thinks about our medicare system, like he has managed to conceal so many other things.

His religious fanaticism, his grotesque misogyny, his vicious anti-gay views. 

But he has been overheard in private excitedly discussing what he would like to do to our healthcare system i.e. privatize it beyond recognition. 

So this couldn't be more hypocritical, or more shameless.

More Bad News For Doug Ford And Andrew Scheer

In my last post I looked at a new poll that suggested that 60 per cent of people in Ontario now believe that Doug Ford's government is corrupt.

And how the stench of that corruption was dragging down Andrew Scheer's numbers in that province. 

But that same poll also has some more bad news for Ford and Scheer.

Andrew Scheer and the Curse of Doug Ford

I see Andrew Scheer has been playing cowboy, and flipping pancakes at the Calgary Stampede.

And although I'm sure Scheer was happy to be half a continent away from Doug Ford and the stench of Con corruption, he must also be hurting inside, and increasingly desperate.

Just a few weeks ago it seemed he was heading for a crushing Con majority, and on the verge of being able to impose his deranged Scheeria law on Canada.

I still like that bobble-headed Andrew Scheer ad. It still makes me laugh.

When I heard that Doug Ford had decided to give himself and his government a five-month vacation until the federal election was over, I wasn't really surprised.

I'd heard he'd found running a province about a hundred thousand times more exhausting than running a small label factory, and needed to take the whole summer off or he'd collapse.

Will Doug Ford Cost Andrew Scheer's Cons the Next Election?

When Doug Ford became the premier of Ontario, Andrew Scheer was so excited he treated him like his new best friend forever.

It was going to be the Great Alliance, with the two Cons vowing to work together to defeat Justin Trudeau and his satanic carbon tax.

And Scheer seemed to believe that Ford could deliver unto him all the Ontario seats he needed for his glorious, Godly, majority.

But now not so much.

Andrew Scheer and the Con's Climate Emergency Fiasco

As I said about ten days ago, when heavy flooding in the Ottawa area forced Andrew Scheer to admit that climate change was real, I knew it was all over, for him and his Cons.

I knew that having admitted it was a problem, but having no solution, except to scream at the Trudeau government's carbon tax, was going to cost them. Big Time.

And sure enough when the Liberals moved to declare a climate emergency, Scheer began to panic.

And started saying the craziest things.

I didn't live in Toronto when Mike Harris and his Cons ruled Ontario from 1995 to 2002.

But I heard about the damage him and his "Common Sense Revolution" did to the province, and how it took a decade to recover. 

And how many poor and vulnerable people never did, because they were buried in the rubble of his brutish regime.

So I never thought I'd hear somebody who lived through those grim Con years say this.

I don't think it's possible to explain climate change to somebody like the brutish Doug Ford.

He's too dumb and greedy.

And as proof of that he has just released this tax payer funded ad that goes after Justin Trudeau's carbon tax.

Doug Ford and Jason Kenney's Grotesque Love-In

It was supposed to be a joyous occasion, a chance for Jason Kenney to visit Doug Ford and celebrate Kenney's coronation as the new King of Albertonia.

And although I never thought that the meeting between the two men could be hotter than the one in the above picture.

It turns out I was wrong, for this one was even hotter !!! 

And even featured a joint appearance in a Ford Nation attack ad...

Doug Ford and the Carbon Tax Follies

Ever since he came to power Doug Ford has launched one attack after the other on the Liberal government's carbon tax. As only a political thug and a Con clown could.

He calls it the "worst tax ever." He is spending $30 million dollars to challenge it in court.

Even though it is the best way to fight climate change, which Ford doesn't really believe in either. 

And now even as massive floods are threatening communities all over Ontario.
