The grotesque chicken hawk Rona Ambrose has disgraced herself so many times it's almost impossible to keep a body count. Whether demanding that we should drop more bombs on one country or another, or attacking the Trudeau children, or trying to prevent doctors from helping dying heroin addicts, she simply has no shame. And now she has disgraced herself again.
I always knew that the sleazy Con clown Donald Trump was spectacularly unfit to be the President of the United States. How could he not be when he's a crass demagogue, a bigot, a misogynist, a rabid climate change denier, and an abysmally ignorant Con man who makes it up as he goes along? But it wasn't until I watched him perform at NBC's Comander-in-Chief Forum the other night, that I finally realized how dangerous he could be if he ever occupied the White House. For it was madness.
For years there have been rumours that Stephen Harper knew that some of our soldiers in Afghanistan were torturing the prisoners they captured. Or did nothing to stop others torturing them. But didn't do anything about it, because he just didn't care, and always enjoyed the pain of others. And the truth about what happened was covered up, or lost in the fog of war. But now at last that scandal may be coming back to haunt him.
As you know I think Justin Trudeau and his government are doing an amazing job of destroying Stephen Harper's foul legacy. And have made this country a better place to live in, as well as restored our image abroad. But that doesn't mean that I agree with everything they are doing. And I definitely don't agree with this decision.
It's amazing what we humans can do when we push the boundaries of science. Like fire off this SpaceX rocket from Cape Canaveral in Florida, deploy a satellite. Then land the first stage on a so-called drone ship in the North Atlantic.

It's been just over a month since the ghastly Con hog Cheryl Gallant last disgraced herself. By using the memory of the murdered soldier Cpl. Nathan Cirillo to peddle Easter hams at a fundraising event. And using his death to smear migrants and refugees as terrorists, and attack Justin Trudeau. As only that porky bigot could.
It's Remembrance Day 2015, and this year it will be for me like no other I have ever known. A day of sadness and celebration. A day to mourn all those who sacrificed their lives for this country. And a day to give thanks that this other tragedy, this other gaping wound of war, is finally going to be recognized.

I told you how the military didn't accept that he was suffering from PTSD, they didn't treat his illness, they treated him like a cheater, until he finally hanged himself. I also told you how they kept his suicide note from his parents for over a year, even though it was addressed to them.
And how his parents finally found out earlier this year that a secret military report had blamed him for what happened. But this has to be the final betrayal.
It's a dirty game, a bestial assault on women, and one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen on TV. One that began just over a year ago with this video in Cincinnati, as a female reporter covered a train derailment.
The video got more than five million views, more than 31,000 thumbs up, and all over North America other depraved men started imitating that hooded pervert. So you can imagine how happy I was to see Toronto TV reporter Shauna Hunt stand up to those bullies the other day.
There's a strange and disturbing story circulating quietly on the internet. It was forwarded to me by someone I trust. And it seems to show that the CBC wrote a story claiming that Stephen Harper was thinking about conscripting young Canadians if he is re-elected. Only to quickly delete it a few hours later.
The other day I wrote a post accusing Jason Kenney of lying. Again. Claiming that the reason we are going to bomb Syria is because the Americans need us and our so-called smart-bombs. And of getting the country's top general Tom Lawson to cover for him. Well today Lawson ate his words and make Kenney look like an idiot.
The only thing more disturbing than having an incompetent Cold War chickenhawk like Jason Kenney posing as a Defence Minister, and lying like a thief. Over and over again. Is having Canada's top general, running behind him with a shovel. To scoop up his manure, or as David Pugliese writes, dig him out of a bomb crater of his own making.

They brought Sgt. Andrew Doiron back to Canada today, and I was glad to see that thousands of Canadians turned out to welcome him home down the Highway of Heroes. Once I thought that reception was too militaristic, and too American. But now I think it's right that we should value every life, and honour those who lose their lives in the service of Canada. Too bad, Cpl. Stuart Langridge and his family weren't so lucky.

I knew the first Harper to arrive in Canada had to removed from office for "violent and oppressive measures vindictive beyond all reason." I knew one of his grandfathers committed suicide, and that he was prone to violent rages, and frightening bouts of depression. But today Stephen Harper finally went over the deep end.
Two years ago he told us that he was pressing the "reset button" on his plan to buy 65 F-35 fighters from his friends at Lockheed Martin, after it was revealed that their cost would blow Canada up instead of the enemy. He promised us his corrupt regime would look at other slightly cheaper warplanes, and hold an open competition. But it seems that nothing can shake Stephen Harper's insane obsession with the F-35, even though with only one engine it's totally unsuitable for patrolling Canada's vast Arctic spaces. And today we found out that he has secretly ordered four of them.
I have no idea which voice in his head was commanding him, but it was a very different Stephen Harper who turned up in the House of Commons today. An unusually subdued version. He reached out to the opposition, answered their questions politely, instead of mocking them, or setting his howling Con jackals on them. But the essential message remained the same: He will lead us into a war he calls both noble and necessary.
I've written many stories about the callous way the Con regime and the military treat our wounded soldiers. But since nothing ever seems to be done about it, and I've seen the horror up close, I'm just going to have to keep repeating this: Making soldiers choose between their pensions and their mental health is the absolute limit.
Twas the night before Parliament, and at 24 Sussex Drive not a creature or a mouse rat was stirring. Except in the dark basement where Stephen Harper was planning his triumphal return, after his golden photo-op summer. And no doubt rehearsing his new role as Indiana Harper or Great Explorer Leader. The man, who in his mind at least, led the successful search for the Franklin expedition. As I'm sure you remember...
But sadly for him I fear his flight voyage of fancy will be short-lived.
