The Trudeau Government and the Case of the Injured Veterans

As you know I think Justin Trudeau and his government are doing an amazing job of destroying Stephen Harper's foul legacy.

And have made this country a better place to live in, as well as restored our image abroad.

But that doesn't mean that I agree with everything they are doing.

And I definitely don't agree with this decision. 

Remembrance Day 2015: Remembering the Dead and the Living

It's Remembrance Day 2015, and this year it will be for me like no other I have ever known. A day of sadness and celebration.

A day to mourn all those who sacrificed their lives for this country.

And a day to give thanks that this other tragedy, this other gaping wound of war, is finally going to be recognized.

Well as I'm sure you know, they say you can't trust a Con as far as you can see, or spit. 

For they lie and cheat to win elections, and nothing they do is quite what it appears to be.

Now take a good look at that photo of the David Cameron, the British Prime Minister who is inflicting untold misery on the poor people of that country.

If you remember when we last left Stephen Harper, he was sitting in the office of his Australian spin doctor getting the bad news about his campaign.

And either squirming uncomfortably, or gagging violently.

Which as it turns out now seems almost like proctologist poetic justice.

Now that we know that he has slapped a gag order on his own nomination candidates. 

Stephen Harper and the Bloody Harvest of War

As I'm sure you remember, during the early years of the war in Afghanistan there was no greater chicken hawk than Stephen Harper.

Until he realized it wasn't winning him enough votes, and he decided to cut and run.

But while he has been able to run away from a lot of things, like the state of the economy.

He can't run away from his precious war, because we're still reaping its bloody harvest.

The Con Clowns Go After the Veterans Again

Oh no. Not Erin O'Toole. Not Stephen Harper's shiny tool. Again.

Why it seems like it was just yesterday that he was making an absolute fool of himself, claiming that marijuana doesn't help veterans with PTSD, and that it's dangerous.

Despite considerable evidence to the contrary.

Now he's going after veterans with PTSD again, claiming they're making misleading videos. 

The Harper Regime and the Continuing War on Canadian Veterans

The day Stephen Harper finally fired Julian Fantino, and made Erin O'Toole the new Minister of Veterans Affairs, I predicted that nothing would change.

Because the way the Cons have treated our veterans wasn't just a failure to communicate. It was a failure of human decency, and a betrayal of our Canadian values.

And sure enough, I was right. O'Toole turned out to be just another tool of his depraved leader.

And the more things change, the more they stay the same.

As we all know Stephen Harper is trying to make us believe that we are at war with a giant Jihadi conspiracy.

And that only he can save us from those who would behead us in our beds, and Justin Trudeau and Tom Mulcair.

The Con Regime Goes After Another Veteran's Advocate

Yesterday I told you how Erin O'Toole, Julian Fantino's equally ghastly replacement, had gone after Mike Blais and his veteran's group. 

Now it turns out that wasn't an isolated incident, it's part of an all-out offensive.

Because today we found out that the Cons are also going after the distinguished veteran's advocate Keith Neville.

Last week I predicted that Erin O'Toole, who replaced Julian Fantino as the Con Minister of Veteran Affairs would turn out to be no better than his predecessor.

Or just another Harper stooge.

And sure enough it hasn't taken long for him to show his true colours.

What Would You Tell Stephen Harper If He Tried to Shake Your Hand?

It's a horrible thought, and it could only happen in a nightmare.

But what if you were wandering through a deathly dreamscape, and suddenly there was Stephen Harper, offering to shake your hand?

What WOULD you say to him?

And while that could never happen to me, because I'd rather cut off my hand than shake his, or run in the opposite direction, or moon him.

As you probably know I have become increasingly concerned about Stephen Harper's mental state.

Since he's now at the age when the first Harper to arrive in Canada went off the deep end, and had to be forcibly removed from office.

So madness does run in the family. Those plunging oil prices have exacted a terrible toll on his nerves, by shattering his delusions of grandeur as the legendary leader of Greater Albertonia.

I didn't think it was possible for anyone to defend Julian Fantino, after all he has done to our veterans.

And after even the PMO thought he was so out of control they sent one of their top operatives to babysit him.

But apparently that wasn't enough, because there was Stephen Harper yesterday, snarling at his opponents, defending his beloved Julie. 

The Day the Con Clown Circus Became a Ghastly Freak Show

Well as you know, I have been calling the Harper government a Con Clown Circus.

But I'm afraid I was wrong, and I want to apologize. To the clowns of the world.

Because after closer inspection, and after what happened in the Commons yesterday,  I think it's safe to say that the Con regime is now more like a FREAK SHOW.

Where yesterday's mutant stars were Leona Aglukkaq and Julian Fantino.

A Canadian Veteran Prepares to Go After Peter MacKay

A few weeks ago I told you how veterans are preparing to declare war on the Harper regime, that has treated them so shabbily.

And how they are planning to make their presence felt in the next election campaign.

A network of veterans across Canada is planning a co-ordinated campaign against the Conservative government during next year’s election.

“When the election is called, you’re going to see some large fallout, believe me,” said Sydney veteran Ron Clarke. “As soon as the writ is dropped, we are in action.”

Now one of them has announced plans to go after the ghastly Con buffoon Peter MacKay.
