It's been almost thirty years since Preston Manning and his Reform Party cowboys galloped into Ottawa and started trampling on our country and its values.
They had "The West Wants In" tattooed on their...er...saddles, as they stampeded into our parliament.
Parson Manning thundered that they had come to elevate our politics, take big money out them, and make them more God-like. Hallelujah!!!
And, yes, so much for that one...
I always knew that Andrew Scheer acted more like an American than a Canadian.
And that he always sided with Donald Trump, and worked to undermine our government.
But this is outrageous.
Andrew Scheer is such a serial liar that I once designed a flashing light to place on his pointy nose, so he didn't take someone's eye out.
But our shabby Con media never calls him a serial liar, and this latest big lie, this #brokergate, is no different.
They made a huge fuss about Justin Trudeau dressing up as Aladdin, but Scheer falsely claiming that he was a real broker has failed to move their outrage meter.
So if those Con clowns can't do their jobs, maybe a real clown can do better.
In just three weeks Andrew Scheer, who is leading in the polls, could become the new Prime Minister of Canada.
And we still know so little about who he really is, and what he might do to our country.
But now an article in the Globe has cast a little more light into the shadows, and what we now know should terrify every decent Canadian.
When Andrew Scheer finally announced his "real plan to protect the environment" it was clear to me from the look on his face that he knew it was fraudulent.
And that only Cons and other furry creatures could believe him.
But since then the reviews have become even more brutal, even in the Con media.
With Andrew Coyne calling the "real plan" just a "prop" and others going even further.
He's always been a liar. A firm believer in the old saying that a lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.
But during the midterm election campaign he has been outdoing himself.
In the first nine months of his presidency, Trump made 1,318 false or misleading claims, an average of five a day. But in the seven weeks leading up the midterm elections, the president made 1,419 false or misleading claims — an average of 30 a day.
And what is now only too clear is that it takes two to play that dirty game. The monster himself, and the Republican Party.
It had to be one of Donald Trump's worst days as President.
For the hits just kept on coming. Boom. Boom. Boom.
Each one hit him like a cruise missile, left him looking like that other mad emperor.
Naked as a baby.
Or as grubby as a mobster.
For almost two days, Leona Alleslev and Andrew Scheer were the toast of Con Canada. And what a show it was.
I mean just LOOK at them. Have you ever seen two politicians fall in love so quickly? And still manage to look and sound so ridiculous
The Liberal defector made it sound like she had escaped from a prison camp in North Korea, where her opinions had been ruthlessly stifled.
While the Con media heaped praise on the failing Scheer for managing to reel in a Liberal AND a woman.
He stands accused of withholding money from his brother's widow and children.
And of running the family business into the ground.
The same label factory he claims has given him the experience to run Canada's biggest economy.
And what Doug Ford had to say about that yesterday could only have satisfied the dumbest members of his so called Ford Nation.
For most of the Ontario election campaign Doug Ford has acted as only a Con clown, or a snake oil salesman could.
Attacking his opponent's economic platforms, without having one of his own. And making all kinds of wild promises.
He said he'd tell us how much all of those promises would cost, soon, later, before the election.
But now with only seven days to go before that election, and many people having already cast their votes, Ford and his Team Harper puppeteers have put a price tag on those promises, called it their "platform."
And gone from Con clowns to full blown Con artists.
It's the final debate the Ontario election campaign. The stakes couldn't be higher.
And you can be sure that Doug Ford's Team Harper handlers have been trying to hammer one talking point after the other into him.
For with his polls heading south, and his campaign dented by scandal, it could very well be his do or die moment.
But at least he has something new to offer the voters.
And like the man himself, it couldn't be more blunt or more brutish.
As you may know, I consider Andrew Scheer to be a serial liar, a man who lies almost as much as Donald Trump does.
A liar who should have a flashing red light attached to the end of his large pointy nose to warn others he's coming.
But this latest lie is so bad it's ridiculous.
You know when I stare at that picture of Andrew Scheer, even I find it hard to believe that he is a mortal threat to Canada and its values.
I mean look at him.
He just looks like a nerd who would embarrass this country beyond recognition if he ever became Prime Minister.
A Mr Ding Dong if ever there was one.
But then I remember he is a creepy religious fanatic, who just can't stop lying.
Pity poor Andrew Scheer. The Con media has stopped attacking Justin Trudeau for a moment, so they can go after the NDP's Jagmeet Singh.
Which is bad for the Cons, because they want the NDP strong enough to split the progressive vote.
But it doesn't really matter.
The shrilly little scribblers managed to make such an absurd fuss over Trudeau's visit to India.
They have given Scheer and his Cons, their biggest boost ever.
I always thought it was too good to be true. Andrew Scheer offering to help the Liberal government defend NAFTA from Donald Trump and his Trumpkins.
By going down to Washington next week and lobbying the Americans, to show them that when it comes to the important issues, we're all on the same side.

For let's face it, it's not easy to call yourself a patriot of any size, after applying for and receiving five draft deferments to avoid being sent to Vietnam.
Whatever he might say about that...
But there he was in Nashville on Monday, addressing the American Farm Bureau's annual convention.
And getting a standing ovation for demanding that all Americans show the flag and the national anthem more RESPECT.
For months Andrew Scheer has been able to pull off one of the greatest tax scams in modern Canadian history.
With the help of the greedy rich and our shameless Con media, he has been able to portray the Liberal government's attempt to make our tax system fairer, as a nefarious scheme aimed at small businesses and family farms.
And get away with it, like a thief in the night.
But now at last some in the MSM are finally shining the spotlight of truth on Scheer, and exposing him for what he really is.
For weeks I've been warning that there was something funny or fishy about the way Andrew Scheer and his Cons were attacking the Liberal government's plans to reform our tax system.
Warning that nobody should believe Scheer when he claimed he was trying to defend the poor rather than the rich.
And sure enough, Vice News has obtained copies of the Con's secret documents detailing how their MPs are to go after the government,
And they couldn't be more shocking.
We know that Andrew Scheer is a sinister religious fanatic. We know that he is a crass misogynist, and an anti-gay and anti-Muslim bigot.
We know that he is a creepy demagogue, and a good friend of Ezra Levant.
We know that he believes that we should pay to have children home schooled, and that carbon taxes are the work of the devil.
But who knew that he is also a flim-flam man?
As you can imagine for many progressives in the United States this is not a very happy holiday season.
More like the nightmare before and after Christmas.
But the good news, or small consolation, is that the ranks of the miserable will soon be swollen by many of Donald Trump's working class supporters.
When they finally realize that he has betrayed them, or conned them like suckers.
