A strange thing happened last night. I wrote a post that was published on Progressive Bloggers, but had disappeared early today.
So I'm repeating it under another name in the hope that it won't happen again.
And what I wanted to say was that although I have always known that Andrew Scheer was a racist, he was able to hide that racism from most Canadians.
Until suddenly he couldn't.
When one of his Con MPs attacked Canada's top doctor in the most disgusting manner.
In my last post, I looked at how Peter MacKay tweeted his support for far-right vigilantes who dismantled a blockade near Edmonton.
Only to hastily delete it.
But by then it was too late, it had gone viral.
Ezra Levant is the most grotesque bully I have ever encountered. A porcine right-wing extremist who peddles bigotry for profit.
And the money he makes attacking Justin Trudeau, is only matched by the money he makes attacking the former child soldier Omar Khadr.
So when he heard that Khadr would be part of a panel discussion on child soldiers at Dalhousie University, he set off for Halifax to confront the man he hates so much.
Ever since Andrew Scheer hired Hamish Marshall, he has never really had to explain why he would hire as his campaign manager a man who help found the hate mongering Rebel.
A man who worked with the ugly bigot Ezra Levant to harvest hate for dollars.
The MSM has never asked Scheer any hard questions about that, and when asked even the softest questions, he runs for cover.
So most Canadians don't know much about the Scheer Rebel connection.
But now that may be about to change.
It's a double blow for Andrew Scheer. The fake scandal is fading to black, but the other real scandal isn't going anywhere.
The scandal where he revealed his true colours, by addressing a gathering on Parliament Hill riddled with racists, far-right extremists, and white nationalists like Faith Goldy, Scheer's old Rebel crush.
A real scandal that now has many Canadians wondering where Scheer would take this country if he ever became prime minister.
And the problem for our would be Trump is, it's a scandal that Scheer won't be able to escape, for at least three good reasons.
It was just over a week ago, when a desperate Andrew Scheer came out of the closet as a full blown Trumpling.
A secret admirer of the Orange Oaf, and a wannabe Trump himself.
By declaring war on the "fake news" media.
Two weeks ago I wrote about the bigot bromance between Tommy Robinson and Ezra Levant.
And how Levant got so carried away with his slobbering love for Britain's most notorious hate monger, he triggered an investigation by the British police.
Well at a bigot rally the other day to celebrate his release from jail, Robinson told his supporters how much he appreciated Levant's support.
And the result couldn't have been more disgusting.
If you've read the hate mongering Rebel recently, you might have noticed that it spends most of its time writing about Britain rather than Canada.
With its lizard leader Ezra Levant championing the cause of the notorious British bigot Tommy Robinson.
But now it seems all that cheerleading for Robinson may have landed Levant in trouble.
As you may know, I consider Andrew Scheer to be a serial liar, a man who lies almost as much as Donald Trump does.
A liar who should have a flashing red light attached to the end of his large pointy nose to warn others he's coming.
But this latest lie is so bad it's ridiculous.
Oh dear, poor Andrew Scheer has that desperate look on his face again. And no wonder, everything is going wrong.
Last night his "emergency pipeline debate" went nowhere, after all he could do was shout "Mr Trudeau build that pipeline!!!!"
Which seemed a bit ridiculous, considering the situation, especially since the Prime Minister is in Europe.
So most of the media didn't bother to cover it.
But if you thought that went badly, his attempt to use Trudeau's India visit to embarrass him, again, was even more of a fiasco.
As long as I can remember I've always considered the Cons to be more American than Canadian.
And since Andrew Scheer became their leader I've often wondered whether his party has been receiving money from some of the sinister billionaires who have been bankrolling right-wing groups all over the United States.
For who can forget how he tried to undermine our country at the NAFTA negotiations, for crass political reasons.
And now one of his good buddies has been caught with his grubby hands in an American cookie jar.
It looked like some kind of low budget religious TV program, with a host and a guest who were made for each other.
Faith Goldy, the monstrous Christian Crusader and white supremacist, and Andrew Scheer, the creepy religious fanatic and alt-right sympathizer who would be Prime Minister.
Sitting in one of Ezra Levant's ratty Rebel studios, all but swapping spit, and talking about all kinds of alt-righty things.
From freedom of speech i.e. freedom to hate, to duck hunting.
David Akin has always been one of the shabbiest members of our grotesque Con media.
Once he used to inhale Ezra Levant's farts at Sun TV News, until the farts caught fire, and it went down in flames.
But it seems old habits die hard, and now he spends his days looking for any excuse to attack Justin Trudeau.
And I mean ANY excuse.
For months I have been hoping that our shabby media would notice how Andrew Scheer's Cons and Ezra Levant's hate mongering Rebel were beginning to resemble each other.
With Levant seeming or screaming to tell Scheer what to do.
And yesterday they finally did, sort of.
It began when the Con propaganda machine began calling for an emergency debate on the pipeline war between B.C. and Alberta.
But when Question Period began yesterday, that war was quickly forgotten.
And the Cons started off instead by attacking this tweet from Justin Trudeau's advisor Gerald Butts.
As you may remember, Kellie Leitch and Ezra Levant had a very close working relationship during the Con leadership campaign.
Both shared the same view that only they could save our Canadian values from the "barbarians" i.e. the Muslims.
And that like Donald Trump, only they could save us from the "elites" i.e. Justin Trudeau.
But mostly it was about money.
I like to mock Ezra Levant and his ratty rag The Rebel.
As I did yesterday.
But of course the man is not a joke, or at least not funny, and I have always worried that his relentless hate mongering might lead to tragedy.
By inspiring one of his sick followers to hurt or kill people.
And now it seems that's exactly what has happened.
As everybody knows Ezra Levant is Andrew Scheer's favourite right-wing YouTube host.
Although relations have been strained ever since Scheer was forced to pretend he hardly knew Levant.
And ran off with the co-founder of The Rebel, Hamish Marshall.
Leaving Levant bobbing up and down in his own excrement, and The Rebel sinking like the Titanic.
By now I'm sure most of you have heard the story of the 11-year-old Muslim girl in Toronto who claimed a bigot had attacked her.
And how that turned out not to be true. Just a child's make believe story.
Like many Canadians I was relieved the attack didn't happen, and both disappointed and mildly annoyed that the girl lied.
But she is just a child, and what really disgusts me is the way the Cons and other right-wing scum are blowing up this story for the lowest of reasons.
And using it to attack the girl, her mother, other Muslims, and even Justin Trudeau.
As I've mentioned many times before, Andrew Scheer must really love his Mini-Me Hamish Marshall, the co-founder of the hate mongering Rebel.
Marshall led his campaign to a thirteen ballot victory at the Con leadership convention.
And a grateful Scheer rewarded Marshall by making him the Con's new campaign manager, charged with returning the Harperite cult to power in the next election.
But if Scheer does love Marshall you'd never know it, because he hates to talk about him.
And as he did a few months ago, if you ask Scheer about him, he panics and runs for cover.
As I'm sure you have noticed, Andrew Scheer is looking a little ragged these days.
For six months he has been attacking Justin Trudeau like a bat out of hell, or a maniac.
Or an alt-right religious fanatic.
But sadly for him it's just not working.
In fact, it's an absolute disaster.
