If you've read the hate mongering Rebel recently, you might have noticed that it spends most of its time writing about Britain rather than Canada.
With its lizard leader Ezra Levant championing the cause of the notorious British bigot Tommy Robinson.
But now it seems all that cheerleading for Robinson may have landed Levant in trouble.
For months I have been hoping that our shabby media would notice how Andrew Scheer's Cons and Ezra Levant's hate mongering Rebel were beginning to resemble each other.
With Levant seeming or screaming to tell Scheer what to do.
And yesterday they finally did, sort of.
It began when the Con propaganda machine began calling for an emergency debate on the pipeline war between B.C. and Alberta.
But when Question Period began yesterday, that war was quickly forgotten.
And the Cons started off instead by attacking this tweet from Justin Trudeau's advisor Gerald Butts.
I like to mock Ezra Levant and his ratty rag The Rebel.
As I did yesterday.
But of course the man is not a joke, or at least not funny, and I have always worried that his relentless hate mongering might lead to tragedy.
By inspiring one of his sick followers to hurt or kill people.
And now it seems that's exactly what has happened.
As we now know, Hamish Marshall, the Con's new campaign manager who used to work at The Rebel, has been desperately trying to change Andrew Scheer's image.
From Dr Schmear and Mr Schmeagol, depending on the phase of the moon, to Mr Nice Guy, or Mr Average Canadian.
But it's not easy, and it's not working.
Not when that low budget YouTube reminded many Canadians of a scary David Lynch movie.
As we all know, Andrew Scheer has vowed not to grant more interviews to Ezra Levant's hate mongering Rebel until it changes its "editorial direction."
Whatever that means.
But after having spent so much time with the Rebel, and after having one of Levant's flunkies run his Con leadership campaign, severing the ties that bind isn't easy.
So one moment he's Mr Positive, or Mr Cheery Scheery, whooping it up with Jason Kenney.
The next moment he's Mr Darkness.
For days even as his ratty Rebel started to take on water, and half his crew abandoned ship, Ezra Levant insisted that everything was under control.
But now that ghastly bigot has finally been forced to confront reality.
Now he's finally admitting that The Rebel is in deep trouble.
Earlier today I wrote a post demanding to know why Andrew Scheer was hesitating to condemn the white supremacist views of Ezra Levant's bigot Rebel.
After spending so much time riding on that stinking and sinking boat.
Well now it turns out he did say something about it in B.C. last night.
And not only was it four days late, it couldn't be more pathetic.
For years Ezra Levant has been peddling bigotry for fun and profit.
And ever since the rise of Donald Trump, his ratty racist rag The Rebel has become more and more extreme.
Not just reaching out to the freaks, nasty nerds and neo-nazis of Trump's so-called Alt-Right army.
But actually jumping into bed with them.
And even worse, if that's possible, trying to imitate them.
As you know, Ezra Levant likes to call himself a "Rebel Commander" and portray himself and The Rebel as a champions of free speech.
Even though The Rebel is just a tacky hate mongering rag, which should have been closed down long ago by the vice squad.
And Levant is only in it for the money.
I'm pretty sure that most Canadians know very little about Andrew Scheer, the new leader of the Cons, who likes to call himself "Harper with a smile."
They just see a friendly looking man who always has a smile on his face, even when he's talking about the recent death of his mother.
Or trying to stick a metaphorical knife into the back of Justin Trudeau.
But sadly, Scheer is not as nice as he appears to be. He's a dangerous religious fanatic who could threaten the rights of millions of Canadians.
Just don't expect our Con media to warn people about that, because they're too busy trying to make Ol' Smiley look like a nice guy, and a real leader.
With only 24 hours to go before the French presidential election, and Emmanuel Macron leading Marine Le Pen in the polls, this was hardly surprising.
The campaign of the French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron was hit on Friday by a large dump of leaked emails and other documents on a file-sharing website.
Le Pen's neo-nazis are about to get thumped, and they are bitter and desperate.
But what is surprising and shocking is the Canadian connection.
As we all know Ezra Levant spends a lot of his time begging for money. And I mean a lot of time.
There isn't a day that goes by that he can't be seen rattling his tin cup, or bellowing through his bullhorn.
So I'm sorry to report that his begging is about to become even more deafening.
I don't know from what diseased mind or minds those hateful posters came from.
I don't know whether those racists were inspired by their Lord Emperor Donald Trump.
Or boosted by Kellie Leitch's emulation of him, and her politics of division.
But I must say I find this deeply disturbing.
No media personality in this country has attacked Justin Trudeau as viciously as has Ezra Levant.
He has called him a terrorist, he has attacked his family in the lowest possible way.
During Trudeau's fight with Patrick Brazeau he got so carried away, he practically came in his pants wondering whether Justin would be removed in an ambulance or a hearse.
And his ghastly Rebel has run one death threat after another aimed at him in its grotesque comment section.
So this desperate plea couldn't be more pathetic
As you probably know, the hate mongering internet rag The Rebel is as revolting as it's self-styled "Rebel Commander" Ezra Levant.
It's a swollen sewer, a raging torrent of bigotry aimed at all kinds of people, especially Muslims.
It goes after anti-bullying groups trying to protect gay children in our schools. It promotes neo-Nazi propaganda.
And as if that wasn't bad enough, it also spews out a steady stream of anti-feminist propaganda, and naked misogyny that couldn't be more disgusting.
