Justin Trudeau hasn't had much to celebrate recently. The economy may be booming, the unemployment rate is better than it has been for 40 years.
But the Schmearmongering Cons and their stooge media have given him no credit, preferring to concentrate on one fake scandal after the other.
And the toxic Trudeau haters are forever trying to smear him and bring him down.
So he must have really enjoyed this moment.
If the failing Andrew Scheer wasn't such a wonky nerd, he would have known that he should have taken a couple of days off to recover from his trip to India.
Especially one that had so many people laughing at him.
Instead he couldn't wait to rush back to Question Period to attack Justin Trudeau, or try to Schmear him.
But Trudeau wasn't there, so the jet lagged Jolly Wolly went after Chrystia Freeland as only he could.
Well, Andrew Scheer's Great Scam Tour of India is finally over, and I think it's safe to say it was a total bust.
The idea was to make Scheer look "prime ministerial" by NOT wearing Indian garb, like Justin Trudeau did when he was in India.
And making a virtue out of BOOOORING.
But it just didn't work.
As we all know Andrew Scheer has been playing a nasty and rather kinky game.
Where he uses a dead child to try to smear Justin Trudeau, and pretends he's a prison guard who can move prisoners around at will.
Which is bad enough.
Looking as it does, like a tacky remake of Caged in Paradiso.
But unfortunately it gets worse.
Now he's also claiming that he could have got a better trade deal than Justin Trudeau.
It had to be one of Donald Trump's most bizarre and deeply disturbing news conferences ever.
It lasted for almost an hour and a half. Trump almost never stopped talking, jumping from one subject to another, and praising himself over and over again.
When it was over I'm sure that millions of people all over the world were left staring at their TV screens with their mouths wide open.
Wondering whether Trump had finally gone over the deep end.
For this was crazy stuff
It was a deadline that Donald Trump insisted Canada must respect. In the language of the gangster in the White House, an offer it couldn't refuse.
Canadians had until Friday to sign a new NAFTA deal dictated by himself, or there would be trouble.
But Team Canada stood its ground refusing to be intimidated. The deadline came and went.
And it was Trump who ended up being humiliated.
Almost a week ago I looked at why the grubby Donald Trump was trying to sound like a gangster.
And concluded it was because he was desperately afraid of going to the Big House.
Well now the cowardly bully is mouthing off again.
This time he's threatening Canada.
I didn't get a chance to see Andrew Scheer's reaction to the court decision on the Trans Mountain pipeline until late yesterday evening.
But when I did I was shocked, for he looked like a real mess, like a man becoming unravelled, or a young Bela Lugosi.
And when a reporter asked how he felt about this tweet.
I thought he was going to break down and scream.
But then who can blame him?
I have no idea why Andrew Scheer hates Canada so much. Or why can't put the interests of his country before those of his party.
Or why he tries so hard to debase and destroy his opponents.
That's something only a psychiatrist, or since he's a religious fanatic, only a minister can answer.
But that he does hate this country there can be no doubt.
For this is just the latest example.
Donald Trump has been busy recently, lowering, then raising, then lowering the American flag over the White House.
President Trump, under enormous public and private pressure, finally issued a proclamation of praise for Mr. McCain on Monday afternoon, two days after the senator’s death, and ordered the flag to be flown at half-staff seemingly in the only place it wasn’t already, the presidential complex.
Which has only made him look even more cowardly and more classless, if that's possible.
But now it seems the desperate Trump wants OUR country to raise a flag, a white one.
For months our ratty Con media has tried to damage Justin Trudeau, and diminish his status abroad.
And of course some like the miserable Andrew Scheer have gone even further...
But luckily that treasonous Trumpling is only negotiating with others in his own mind.
And it's just been revealed that when Justin met Donald he made the president look like a little man.
I always thought it was too good to be true. Andrew Scheer offering to help the Liberal government defend NAFTA from Donald Trump and his Trumpkins.
By going down to Washington next week and lobbying the Americans, to show them that when it comes to the important issues, we're all on the same side.

At least that's what the Cons have been claiming.
And sure enough it was too good to be true.
I don't know how Justin Trudeau managed to look so cool yesterday, when confronted with the madness of Donald Trump.
And the threat that could cost Canadians hundreds of thousands of jobs, and maybe even bring down the global economy.
Or what he must have thought when he heard this:
But then I read this tweet and it all became clear.
As you may know, Justin Trudeau is going to meet with Donald Trump this week to fight for the future of NAFTA.
And try to hold back a tidal wave of protectionism.
And since hundreds of thousands of jobs in this country hang in the balance, you might expect that most Canadians would wish him luck.
But no, many Cons and other Trudeau haters are hoping he fails.
As does the snooty reactionary Margaret "Marie Antoinette" Wente.
It's hard to believe, it's so bizarre it boggles the mind. It's like Andrew Scheer is getting his marching orders straight from Donald Trump or his Godzilla.
For it has only been a couple of weeks since him and his Cons tried to sabotage the NAFTA talks by taking the Khadr case to the U.S.
And stabbing Canada in the back.
But despite the way they were criticized for their treasonous behaviour, Scheer is at it AGAIN!!!
Ever since Andrew Scheer was chosen as the new leader of the Harper Party, I've been trying to explain to the few Cons I know, that they've made a terrible mistake.
Trying to explain that by choosing a religious fanatic who would criminalize women, marginalize gays, and ignore climate change, they haven't just lost the next election.
They've also lost the future.
I always knew that Andrew Scheer is a Stephen Harper clone, with a Ted Bundy smile.
I knew he's so partisan he might as well be packing a knife, to jam into the back of Justin Trudeau.
I knew he's a religious fanatic who believes gay Canadians are "abhorrent" and that if he could he would jail women for having an abortion.
But who knew he's such a comedian?
As you know, I believe that the decision by Andrew Scheer's Cons to take their campaign against the Khadr settlement to the U.S. on the eve of the NAFTA talks, can only be described as treason.
So I'm glad to see that even some in the Con media agree.
Conservatives are entitled to object to the Liberal government’s $10.5 million payment to Omar Khadr, even to make as much political hay of it as they can. But taking their quarrel to the United States is a little too close to treason in these sensitive times.
But don't expect Scheer to agree.
