Stephen Harper Unchains his Inner Monster
We know he is a brutish political thug who would do anything to cling to power.
A cold, cruel man who can't feel the pain of others.
Those who have worked with him say he turns the air around him blue, or yellow, with the dirtiest swear words.
But now he's so desperate he's publicly channeling his inner monster.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper said this is not the time to "commit sociology" when asked about the arrests of two men this week who are accused of conspiring to carry out a terrorist attack on a Via train.
"I don't think we want to convey any view to the Canadian public other than our utter condemnation of this kind of violence, contemplation of this violence and our utter determination through our laws and our activities to do everything we can to prevent it and counter it," Harper said.
Can you believe that eh?
As if decent Canadians don't condemn the violent acts of depraved terrorists who would hurt innocent people and cause so much suffering. As if any decent person would have to say it, when unlike him we CAN feel the pain of others. As if anyone could fight those terrorists without understanding them.
What is that monster talking about? And has he lost his marbles?
But then what do you expect from a man who would use OUR money to pay for HIS porn?
Because that's all that sleazy tract is, loaded with lies and distortions, and aimed at stirring up hatred against Quebec and Quebecers. Something that could only come from the diseased mind of a political pervert.
Pssst....wanna see some dirty stuff? Did you know Justin Trudeau thinks Quebecers are better than YOU? Did you know he's a girly man?
“I think (the ads) are meant to weaken his standing particularly among middle-aged men, who are really the core of the Conservative government’s coalition, so they’re trying to shore that up ... the idea that this guy’s not a man’s man, and maybe therefore not worthy of our vote,” said Coletto.
Did you know he was a TEACHER?
As if Trudeau really said that. As if he couldn't whup raincoat man's ass in the ring, like he whupped his buddy Brazeau. As if being a teacher wasn't a good and noble profession.
Conservative Party advertisements that denigrate Justin Trudeau’s past employment as a teacher are an unwarranted attack on the profession and akin to the kind of bullying schools are trying to control, says a national teachers’ organization.
The ghastly porn peddler, the low coward, the disgusting homophobe, the filthy bully.
Oh boy. You know as much as I despise this government, I have never called them Nazis, and I never will. Because the Nazis were the ultimate evil. And the Cons are just a shabby gang of mediocre muckers, oil pimps, fraudsters, rednecks, and religious fanatics.
But there is something about the way Harper is going after teachers, something about the way he sneers at them, something about the way he spat out the word "sociology" today, that reminds of what the drug addled fascist Hermann Goering once said...
When I hear the word culture I reach for a revolver.
Because it comes from the same lizard part of a reactionary right-winger's brain.
And what Goering once had to say about the use of FEAR should send a shiver down the spine of every decent Canadian.
The people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.
Because that's exactly what Stephen Harper is doing, using fear to stampede reason. Appealing to the worst demons of humanity, to try to turn Canada into a brutish prison state.
Yup. I told you they were evil.
I warned you he had an inner monster.
And now that he is crazy desperate.
The monster is unchained...
But all we have to fear is fear itself eh?
And we are not afraid.
Unite to defeat that Con monster and his foul regime.
Make our country safe again...

"to commit sociology"
Since when has "sociology" become a dirty word?
def. noun
"the science or study of the origin, development, organization, and functioning of human society; the science of the fundamental laws of social relations, institutions, etc."
Ah, now I see - since the Harper has taken charge. Sounds like something we can start - "to commit Harper"!!!
What's become a dirty word here is Conservative
hi anonymous...it is scary indeed, but I at least am glad that at last he has revealed himself. Because if that kind of stuff doesn't make Canadians realize that Great Ugly Leader isn't playing with a full deck, NOTHING will. This is not the normal behaviour expected of a Canadian politician, and it's time people called a spade a spade, or a maniac a maniac...
hi anonymous...I hate to blame all conservatives for the crimes of the Harper cult. But if they don't regain control of their party he will destroy it for a generation. And maybe our country as well. His sleazy attempt to smear Justin Trudeau as unmanly is beneath contempt. But his obvious attempt to stir up anti-Quebec feelings, so he can use it against the Liberals AND the NDP, verges on treason...
In the first place. Harper is no Conservative. He comes by his Dictatorship and being a control freak, a very long time back. Harper is just as vile as the Dictators of decades ago. Harper's silly little juvenile attack ads, remind of one of those Dictator's of yesteryear. A fanatic, that used to jump up and down in his rage, and scream at the top of his lungs. Harper's hissy fits in other countries when, he doesn't get his own way is, another dead give-a-way of a tyrant.
Harper's evil is profound. His sneak FIPA deal with Communist China? Well in my Grandfathers day? They would have found a stout tree, and a rope. That's how they dealt with Traitors and Treason, in those days.
Ask Patrick Brazeau how 'non-masculine' JT is. Oh, and Harper said 'this is not the time to "commit sociology" when asked about the men accused of conspiring to carry out a terrorist attack on a Via train but I have to wonder wonder which sweater vest and pant combo set he had on when he said that. Probably the blue set. Or was it that Village People cowboy hat and tight leather vest look? Goodness. And Great Sweater Vest Leader is putting out ads ripping into JT's masulinity?? Has he gone nuts? When he rocks sweater vests? It is actually difficult to imagine someone genuinely wanting to wear such a thing as a sweater vest. It could be the decision of some goofy Connie focus group that thinks it makes Steve appear cuddly, or some such crap. And if that is the case, it's all the more pathetic if your Economic Helmsman can't even dress himself.
Hey, I want to thank you for many side splittingly enjoyable reads over the past few months. Over the top? Absolutely! But you make me LAUGH, so who cares.
BTW, it was not Goering who said: "When I hear the word culture I reach for a revolver.", it was a relatively obscure Nazi, according to the Historian William Shirer, in his famous book, 'The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich'. I think that was where the quote was first recorded. Not that it matters, Goebbels, Goering, obscure Nazi, whatever
I've been having some fun exchanging words with a gaggle of Reformacons over Harper and his "commit sociology" statement in a media discussion on Yahoo Canada over the latest anti-terrorist measures... For your entertainment, here are some of my contributions...
...........
While sociology may not -yet - be an offense under Canadian law, clearly Harper considers it offensive and beneath his consideration, as do many of his supporters for whom political discourse runs in multiple variants of " Turdeau, emperor of farts" and similar knee-slapping witticisms. If Tom Flanagan is any example of the intellectual heavyweights the Reformacons have to offer from the field of social sciences, they are clearly out of their depth, hence the blanket contempt for "sociologists"....
......
Contempt for the social sciences , so typical of drooling Reformacon yobs, will invariably produce results such as the inability to analyze and place schools of thought and political platforms on the political spectrum. Thus the unschooled Reformacon, proud of his aversion to useless intellectual pursuit when making money is all that matters, will argue that Nazism and fascism are not right-wing, but rather left-wing ideologies, that , evidence of his political writings notwithstanding, Breivik was not some right-wing radical with a well defined political agenda, but rather some raving madman out to murder children, that he completely fortuitously ended up attacking a socialist youth camp.
The fact that such ludicrous Reformacon theories have never gained academic credibility or recognition, such as a pass on a doctoral dissertation, is once more evidence, in their twisted view of the world, of a left-wing bias in the media and academic institutions, deliberate aversion to their arguments.
Jeez, Wazz. I likw sweater vests myself (I am over 60) and I can't stand that fucking idiot harper.
Have a little mercy on the guys that wear them that aren't right-wing fucktards. ;-)
Ya what's wrong with the by the fire with Irish setter crowd . I guess he'll have to ask his cat.
Ok. Well Jebus. I am over 50 and have never gone near a sweater vest. lol. Or even a sweater. Well, other than a hockey sweater. Otherwise, I hate the goddamn things. But my point was Harper dresses like an idiot. And is just plain dangerous. Twice proroguing parliament in the minority government, deliberate voter suppression by misdirecting voters with a computerised phone campaign, and mounting personal attack ads on opposition leaders as a matter of course proves he's a fanatic. We are confronted daily with Dr. Frankenstein's Monster, a Monster that has taken over our Canadian government. With 24% of the eligible vote, this man has declared war on much of what Canadians hold sacred. Harper's "conservatives" (regressives in reality) are to Canada what the Taliban were/are to Afghanistan - know-nothing religious fanatics that need to be kept as far away from power as possible. And he just happens to look like a supremo dork no matter what he wears.
hi anonymous...well I wouldn't want to hang Harper, unless you can reduce him to the size of an ornament, and I can hang him from my Christmas tree. I'll settle for defeating him in the next election, and deporting him to Alberta or Paraguay. But yes he is a fanatic and he is vile...
hi wazz...well I don't have a sweater vest, and you can be sure I'll never get one now. But seriously, is there anything more ridiculous than that jello of a policy wonk posing as a cardboard cut-out of what he considers manly. Or anything lower than a politician who would question the masculinity of others. He's done many disgusting things in his time, but for me this is the worst. For not only does it remind me of his ghastly homophobia, it also insults women, for suggesting that they don't have what it takes to be good leaders. When it's obvious this would be a better country, and it would be a better world if more women were running it. And yes the man is a supremo dork, and I live for the day we defeat him...
hi greencanada...thank you I appreciate your kind comment. I do enjoy making people laugh, and if I'm over the top sometimes, it's only because I want to caricature and mock this hideous government as much as I can. And sometimes, not always, a picture is worth a thousand words. I am aware of the controversy over whether Goering really said that, and I would have loved to use this other quote "Guns will make us powerful; butter will only make us fat." For he should know eh? But one fat fascist is as good as another, and his quote about how fear can be harnessed to manipulate the masses, is as pertinent in Harperland as it was back then...
hi Rene...I thought all your contributions are good ones, for what you say is so true.
Contempt for the social sciences, so typical of drooling Reformacon yobs, will invariably produce results such as the inability to analyze and place schools of thought and political platforms on the political spectrum.
For when I read or hear what those yobs have to say I find it just madness. And their attempts to shape reality to conform with their twisted world views simply pathetic. I don't know how you have the patience to patiently explain things to those Neanderthals. But keep up the good work !!! :)
Not so much to educate the Neanderthals - they appear to have an aversion to higher education, that is anything beyond the demands of immediate employment, but rather for the benefit of anyone else who may be following such exchanges.
And I would have to say that the Conservatives have abandoned their responsibilities in such exchanges, there are very few Conservative supporters who step in to such exchanges and attempt to argue their vision of Canada and their objectives from a rational perspective. They have released the pitbulls in any such discussions, and sit back to enjoy the rampage. I would further surmise that a good number do not simply sit back and enjoy but rather join in - under various pseudo-names and aliases - to compete for the most rabid and irresponsible comment.
Such as your anonymous Conservative supporter who - in a related earlier discussion on your blog - advocated civil war and bloody armed intervention to crush Quebecers. Such are the appetites of their most rabid supporters. I recall the Progressive Conservative Party in different times, when it articulated a rational vision of Canada - at odds true enough with with the Liberal perspectives of Trudeau - but the exchanges were for the most part civil and well articulated...
