Religious Bigot James Dobson Surrenders

I want to tell you up front that we're not going to ask you to do anything, to make a phone call or to write a letter or anything.

Teabagging Parties a Miserable Failure

Golly. It looks as if the redneck, racist Republicons have failed to ignite a nation-wide revolt against Black Hitler and his Communist plans to steal their guns....and read their minds.

The day of "tea parties" pushed by Republican operatives and partisan advocacy groups such as FreedomWorks, that sought to protest the Obama government's tax and stimulus policies by encouraging people to 'wave tea bags' brought about only a few hundred "tea-baggers" in most parts of the U.S., despite relentless promotion by Fox News TV hosts.

Oh no. They set out to wave their bags and ended up biting them? Ouch.

And don't you LOVE this?

A 68-year-old woman at the Sunbury Pennsylvania protest had to be rescued by police from the Susquehanna River when she inadvertently fell in while trying to dump tea bags in it.

Caramba. I hope she wasn't rescued by a black man.

And then there's this dumbassitude:

According to reports, organizers of the D.C. event were told by National Park Service officials that the "million tea bags" they had hauled in on the back of a pickup would have to be taken away, rather than be dumped as planned. They reportedly complied with the request after realizing they didn't have the correct protest permit.

The Competitive Enterprise Institute, a local think tank, offered to provide its 12th floor board room as an alternate venue to dump the tea bags.

That'll teach them to get dumb rednecks to fill up a pickup AND fill out a permit. And what the fuck is the Competitive Enterprise Institute? Oh right.

Which just about tells you all you need to know about this so-called "grass roots protest."

As you may know right-wingers in the United States are planning a series of so-called tea parties.

But Alice and the March Hare aren't invited.

Rightwing extremists are harnessing this historical election as a recruitment tool. Many rightwing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearms ownership and use.

Anti-Semitic extremists attribute these losses to a deliberate conspiracy conducted by a cabal of Jewish “financial elites.” These “accusatory” tactics are employed to draw new recruits into rightwing extremist groups and further radicalize those already subscribing to extremist beliefs.

And I don't blame the DHS.

Because these Cons aren't just krazy.....they're DANGEROUS.



Fight them now or fight them later.

The sooner these Con krazies are taken to a concentration camp....or a secure mental health facility.

Harper and the Return of the Reform Party

Well now it's official. Great Crazy Leader isn't the head of the new/nouveau Conservative Party anymore. He's the wild eyed Monkey Fuhrer of the rotting old Reform Party.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper encouraged farmers and hunters attending a fishing an hunting conference in Ontario Saturday to pressure their MPs to abolish the long-gun registry.

Harper was criticized this week for speaking at the event, where the organization is holding a silent auction for a “hunting package” that includes a rifle.

So let's see. First he screams Freedom ,Family, Faith at a Con rally...like some kind of tinpot fascist.

Then he appoints a religious homophobe to the refugee board. And promotes not one but TWO religious extremists to senior positions in the PMO.

Then it's revealed that the Cons are secretly plotting to take over student unions. And that the Science Minister is a creationist.

Now they are going all out to gut the CBC...just to please their rabid redneck base. Now it's all about guns and crime. So why is the Reform Party suddenly back?

Chantal Hebert has a theory.

Prime Ministers don't always have a dauphin, especially when their reign threatens to end sooner than they would have chosen. But they generally have a good idea of who they don't want to see replace them.

Stephen Harper is ready it seems to take his party back to its Reform roots to settle his scores with Jean Charest.

And prevent the old PCers from regaining control of the party.

I like this theory because it would mean that Harper knows the writing is on the wall, and he has decided his ReformCon party is more important than his country. And that is the hill he will die on.

But in the meantime this government is growing more right-wing and dangerous by the day.

And if we don't drive these Reform swine from power soon, they will destroy everything that's beautiful about this country.

The Con Conspiracy to Destroy Canada

So here's the question: how long can we call this a Conservative government....instead of a Bush Con conspiracy to destroy Canada ?

How long before we recognize the true face of the alien ENEMY ?

And how will we EVER explain this one?

Even though there were twice as many of US than there were of THEM.....sixty-four percent to thirty-five. We let the Cons use the recession to destroy our country. Because we weren't UNITED.

And the BEST thing is some of those right wing bloggers aren't too happy with what the Pajama Wanker's boss Roger L. Simon had to say about them:

"Actually that part of our business has been losing money from the beginning, so the people getting their quarterly checks from PJM were getting a form of stipend from us in the hopes that advertisers would start to cotton to blogs and we could possibly make a profit. Didn’t happen. No wonder those people are kicking and screaming now that they are off the dole. I might too. [What's their beef? I thought most of them were free marketeer libertarians or something.-ed. Go figure.]

Here’s the thing, Roger: you never once told us that the blog network you kept insisting was the next great thing “has been losing money from the beginning” — at least, not to our faces, and certainly not in any way that would suggest that you were carrying us like welfare recipients.

Obama, the Lost Agenda, and the Generals

It looks as if Obama has finally realized that he has made a terrible mistake.

And is losing control of his agenda.

Obama's desire to begin a "post-partisan" era may have backfired. In his eagerness to accommodate Republicans and listen to their ideas over the past week, he has allowed the GOP to turn the haggling over the stimulus package into a decidedly stale, Republican-style debate over pork, waste and overspending. This makes very little economic sense when you are in a major recession that only gets worse day by day.

Proof that that Team Obama and his party are losing the debate can be found in a new poll out Wednesday. The Rasmussen Reports survey found that, even though Obama still has a very high approval rating, only 37 percent of Americans now favor the stimulus legislation, compared to 45 percent two weeks ago.

The decisive issue here is leadership. The lack of it is what is plaguing the Obama administration. Every war needs a successful general, and this administration doesn't have one yet

He should have realized sooner that you can't negotiate with Cons, because they'll only try to drag you back to the past where they now belong.

But it gets worse. The Obama administration may not have a successful general yet. But the real generals are revolting.

Obama's decision to override Petraeus's recommendation has not ended the conflict between the president and senior military officers over troop withdrawal, however. There are indications that Petraeus and his allies in the military and the Pentagon, including Gen. Ray Odierno, now the top commander in Iraq, have already begun to try to pressure Obama to change his withdrawal policy.

A network of senior military officers is also reported to be preparing to support Petraeus and Odierno by mobilising public opinion against Obama's decision.

An economy collapsing, right-wingers trying to sabotage efforts to save it, senior generals playing politics, and a commander who thinks he's God.

The Amazing Jet-Man and the Fascist Invasion

During the Second World War my grandfather had to bailout twice over the English Channel.

So when I saw Jet-Man or Fusion Man winging over the waves today I couldn't help think of him. And how I wish he was still alive so he could have seen that amazing sight.

And how I would have loved to strap those jets on him and me, so we could whiz across the channel heading for the white cliffs of Dover, and his home in Kent where my mother was born.

Like Yves Rossy did yesterday.


I know he would have loved it. He taught me to love flying. Just like he taught me not to glorify war.

But he also taught me to hate fascists.












So the sight of a whole pack of them terrorizing an English village would have disgusted him.

He wouldn't have understood how such a thing could happen. And neither can I.

How a bunch of Nazis were allowed to wave their filthy swastika flags, sing their racist songs, and threaten people in a country where so many fought and died to defeat that evil philosophy is simply beyond belief.

So as much as I miss him, I'm glad my Grand Dad didn't see that hideous spectacle.
