It had to be one of the funniest days in the ghastly presidency of Donald Trump. And for the bloated orange oaf, one of his most humiliating.

For there he was yesterday afternoon in a factory in Ohio, bragging about his economic record.

While claiming he was "non-braggadocious."

But still managing to accuse the Democrats who hadn't applauded his State of the Union address of being "treasonous."

After his ghost or his mummy came back to haunt us.

He promised he'd lead us to prosperity, in the golden tar ponds of Albertonia.  

He spent a billion dollars of our money trying to brainwash us into believing that he was a Great Economist Leader.

But now the chickens, or the bats from hell, have come home to roost.

It's the Oily Inferno or the loonie apocalypse.

Well at least now we know why Stephen Harper was twisting himself into knot, or looking like he was auditioning for the Hunchback of Notre Dame, by refusing to even mention the dreaded 'R' word.

So now that it's official, Canada is in a recession.

Repeat a Big Lie over and over again, magnify it with his propaganda machine.

The other day I ran a video of Joe Oliver literally running for cover, so he didn't have to answer questions from reporters about the state of the economy. 

And explain why the Parliamentary Budget Officer says he has a billion dollar DEFICIT instead of a billion dollar SURPLUS as he has been claiming.

And now I'm sorry to report that Oily Joe is STILL running, so is Stephen Harper.

And the Cons are trying their best to make sure they never have to answer that burning question.

For weeks Stephen Harper and his grubby flying monkey Joe Oliver, have been trying to fool Canadians into thinking that they had balanced the budget for the first time in eight years.

Harper has been travelling around claiming that the economic shock waves that are rocking this country are just a "downturn" not a recession. And that he still has the money to bribe them.

While the senile simian Oliver has been claiming that he has a surplus not a deficit.

But yesterday all those claims came tumbling down, and both men were exposed as shameless Con artists.

For years Stephen Harper was able to fool or brainwash many Canadians into believing that he was a Great Economist Leader.

Even as he put all our eggs into one oily basket, demolished what was left of our manufacturing sector, brought in armies of foreign workers to drive down wages, failed to create enough jobs, and ran one deficit after the other.

And he was hoping that helped by a billon dollars worth of porky ads paid for with OUR money, that phony reputation would win him another monstrous majority.

But yesterday that dream ended, when the day of reckoning finally arrived.

As we all know Stephen Harper was hoping to torpedo the political leaders's debates, by boycotting the ones organized by the big three tv networks. The ones that millions of Canadians watch.

And replacing them with a series of smaller debates, with friendlier moderators, on channels that hardly anyone watches.

And hoping that the big three networks would cancel their debates, because he wouldn't be there.

But sadly for him his bluff has been called.

As you know, I believe that we need a Con like Joe Oliver as our Finance Minister at a time like this one, like a drowning man needs an anvil. 

I think that he's just a puppet of the PMO, that Stephen Harper pulls his strings, and tells him what to say.

And that Oliver is so hopelessly incompetent and so out of it, one really has to wonder whether he's all there. If you know what I mean.

And of course this doesn't help.

Well there he was in this PMO picture, at the Calgary Stampede in his black bad guy cowboy hat, framed between a horse and a horse's ass.

Watching the parade and trying to put on a brave face, or smile like a winner. Or at least open his mouth and show his teeth.

But it couldn't have been easy. Not with Rachel Notley, the new sheriff of Alberta, riding triumphantly past him...



He must have had lockjaw by the time that was over eh?

And of course the latest EKOS poll didn't exactly make him want to stand up and shout "Yee haw or hee haw I'm still a Great Leader !!!!

The Day Stephen Harper Was Called an Idiot by Tom Mulcair

Ever since he came to power Stephen Harper has made a mockery out of our parliament.

He has used it as a bully pulpit, he has cut off debates, he never answers questions, he lies all the time. He has turned it into a bad joke, or a fascist circus.

But yesterday when he was asked about the legality of his new war in Syria, and he turned his answer into a joke.

He got put in his place by Tom Mulcair...

Stephen Harper's Desperate Rush to War

He's spent the last few days licking his wounds after he was caught deliberately fanning the flames of racism, and was hit by a wave of revulsion.

And no doubt he's been knocking back a few to try to forget what's happening to the economy. 

Because that makes HIM feel sick, or makes all the voices in his head start screaming at the same time.

But now he's back on his feet, he's inflamed with energy of the desperate, and he's rushing off or lurching off to WAR.

Well now we know why Stephen Harper would rather talk about terrorism than the economy.

Why he would rather scare people into voting him, than promise them better jobs.

Because if he did talk about the economy people would be REALLY scared.

Or really ANGRY. 

Stephen Harper and the Big Freeze

His icy contempt for Parliament couldn't be more obvious.

Despite hailing new anti-terror legislation as fundamental to the fight against “the most dangerous enemies our world has ever faced,” Prime Minister Stephen Harper did not attend either of two days of debate on the bill in the House of Commons this week.

Or maybe he's just confident he's done enough for now to scare Canadians into supporting his fascist bill. 

Because he knows Tom Mulcair can't stop him...

But what must be driving Stephen Harper crazy or crazier, is that his monstrous march to a another bloody majority, appears to be stalled, or in a deep freeze.
