As you know I have been steadily losing confidence in the RCMP, which I now frequently call Harper's police.
Not because I'm anti-police, I'm not.
But because I can't help feeling that its bosses have turned it into a tool of the sinister Con regime.
And as you know I also believe that if Harper isn't defeated, and his totalitarian anti-terror law Bill C-51 isn't killed, he will use it to turn this country into a police state.
And this small story couldn't hold a greater warning.
Well as you know, Stephen Harper has turned the RCMP into the Harper Police.
And sadly the Musical Ride isn't what it once was.
Is there no place now where Canadians can be spared the Conservative government’s jingoistic militaristic bleating with its conjured-up images of dangers lurking around every corner, nurturing the fear that “others” are out to rob us of our freedoms?”
But every now and then the Mounties still do get their man.
As you may know the Cons have just released a new attack ad, which uses ISIS' images and music to attack Justin Trudeau.
And should, according to the provisions of their own Bill C-51, cause the Cons to be arrested.
But now you must really watch the Harperite stooge Kory Teneycke try to defend the Con propaganda machine.
And fail miserably.
In one of my last posts I wrote about how Stephen Harper is now so desperate he is looking crazier every day.
Morphing into a monster who can no longer be restrained by the rule of law.
And yesterday when he flew into Toronto to personally deliver a cheque for a commuter train project, those fears were only reinforced...
For although he was plastered with make-up, there was new look in his cold dead eyes.
And it was pretty clear that something had changed, and that his transformation is now complete.
Well there he was in Poland yesterday, relentlessly pursuing the ethnic vote again, by portraying himself as the fearless leader of the Great War on Russia.
And the champion of freedom and democracy.
Even as the Senate rammed through his totalitarian anti-terror bill.
Which will kill OUR freedoms and turn us into a police state,
But at least on the Great War on Pensions front, Stephen Harper did suffer a serious setback.
I wouldn't be surprised if the dark idea crept into Stephen Harper's Jurassic brain even as he cowered in that closet, on that fatal day on Parliament Hill.
And at the time he must have thought it was brilliant.
He'd draft a sinister anti-terrorist bill that would turn Canada into a police state, and end internet freedom. Use it to go after his many enemies real and imagined.
And if the opposition parties dared vote against it, he'd accuse THEM of being terrorists.
They rallied all over country from St John's to Vancouver, in the sun and in the rain.
In a country which is normally so quiet and complacent, they raised their voices once again to let Stephen Harper know what they think of his dangerous Bill C-51.
And it was a wonderful sight, that sent my spirits soaring like a bird or a rocket.
I must admit I'm finding Harperland this week a little strange and rather depressing. Or should I say even stranger and more depressing than usual.
For although we could be just two months away from the start of an election campaign, as I pointed out yesterday. You'd never know, it's eerily quiet out there.
It's like the so-called phony war, when Britain and Nazi Germany declared war on each other, and nothing happened for months.
And in this country, as parliament prepares to take a five-month break, the only thing breaking the silence, or breaking wind, is the horrible sound of the NDP and the Liberals fighting each other.
It couldn't be a more Orwellian move, or a greater threat to our democracy.

But this is Harperland, he is drunk with power, he really does believe the truth is what he says it is, and he is out of control.
So it seems there is nothing we can do to stop our Big Brother from bending the law to suit his sinister purposes.
I don't know if you've noticed, but Stephen Harper has suddenly stopped talking about the Great War on Terror, and the Great Terrorist Menace.
These days he wants to project a kinder gentler image as a Great Friend of Children Leader.
So now almost every photo-op features a group of bored kids in the background...
But of course, there's a good reason for that. He is desperate.
And The Great War on Terror is going badly disastrously.
It couldn't be more ironic. Stephen Harper creates a monster called Bill C-51, to go after his enemies, and scare Canadians into submission.
So he can turn this country into a police state.
But before he can unleash the monster on the population, the monster slowly turns around, grunts loudly.
And starts scaring the living daylights out of Great Leader.
Despite the best efforts and all the warnings Bill C-51 has now passed, and Canada is now on its way to becoming a police state.
And although I regret that the Liberals voted for it, I understand why they did, so Stephen Harper wouldn't accuse Justin Trudeau of being soft on terrorism.
So I'm saving all the blame for the political pervert from whose diseased mind it sprung.

There couldn't have been a more brutal clash of images. The old veterans in their wheelchairs honouring their comrades who died fighting the fascists to make Holland free.
And Stephen Harper posing for his propaganda reels, sucking up to the vets he has betrayed so miserably.
Playing politics in the garden of the dead, and having the nerve to talk about freedom and tyranny.
He must be so excited. In just a few more days his monstrous anti-terrorist bill C-51 will become law, Canada will become a police state.
And he can start going after all his enemies real or imagined. For by now in the final stages of his mental and moral degeneration, his paranoia knows no limit.
And his depraved desire to jail even more Canadians can barely be restrained.
But if he thinks he is going to get away with it he is sadly mistaken, as tens of thousands of people all over Canada made clear again yesterday.
Yesterday I wrote about how Stephen Harper is invoking a clause in the anti-terror act to try to prevent a court from revealing his family's secrets, in a case brought by a former RCMP officer.
And today the Judge in that case reserved her decision.
But that's not the only secret Harper is trying to conceal.
He also doesn't want us to know how the Cons came up with the slogan they are now bombarding us with: "Strong, Proud, Free."
Sometimes in this big beautiful country it seems like we are too small, too insignificant, too weak or too complacent to change anything.
Helpless to stop the monstrous leader who is tearing its guts out, trying to change it beyond recognition, and trying to scare his own people into submission.
But somehow we summoned up the strength to fight Bill C-51, Stephen Harper's plan to turn Canada into a police state.
And now a new poll suggests that the bill has never been so unpopular.
When Stephen Harper introduced Bill C-51, the anti-terrorist bill that every sane person in Canada believes will turn us into a police state, I was sure that even some Cons would join the protests against it.
The libertarians, the ones who believe that even meat inspectors are too much regulation. Or the legions of the paranoid, who believe that Big Government wants to steal their guns and introduce Sharia Law, and that we'll all end up in one of Obama's Death Camps.
Because as you may know, they all share one thing in common: an enlarged fear gland.
As you know I find it hard to understand why so many Canadians are so complacent about what Stephen Harper and his foul Con regime are doing to this country.
Violating our values, making a mockery out of our democracy, and trying to turn us into a police state.
And when I saw this tweet from Susan Delacourt yesterday...
I was reminded that apathy is our worst enemy, and Stephen Harper's best friend.
If the Public Security Committee's hearings into Bill C-51 had ended today, some no doubt would have called it just another bad April Fool's joke.
But Stephen Harper is so desperate to beat the drums of war and fear, and use the bill to go after his political enemies, he couldn't wait that long.
So he rammed the bill through yesterday, and although it was no joke, the hearings were in every possible way a ghastly fascist farce.
Well surprise, surprise, it was a false flag after all.
The other day it looked like Stephen Harper had surrendered to reason, by finally agreeing to change his police state bill C-51.
Even though him and his Cons had claimed, or squawked for weeks, that it was perfect and if you didn't like it you must be a terrorist.
But now the experts have taken a closer look at those proposed changes, and sure enough they are just an illusion.
