Harper's Police And Yet Another Reason To Kill Bill C-51

As you know I have been steadily losing confidence in the RCMP, which I now frequently call Harper's police.

Not because I'm anti-police, I'm not.

But because I can't help feeling that its bosses have turned it into a tool of the sinister Con regime.

And as you know I also believe that if Harper isn't defeated, and his totalitarian anti-terror law Bill C-51 isn't killed, he will use it to turn this country into a police state.

And this small story couldn't hold a greater warning.

Pope Benny and the Face of Evil

Glory Hallelujah. I see that Pope Benny has decided to take early retirement. 

"After having repeatedly examined my conscience before God, I have come to the certainty that my strengths, due to an advanced age, are no longer suited to an adequate exercise of the Petrine ministry," the Pope said.

Leaving us to wonder whether it was his health, his conscience, or something the butler said. 

The Vatican's Crimes and the Pope's Song

Now that I've seen what Pope Benny's defenders have to say about those who criticize the way he has handled the world wide pedophile scandal.

The latest round of abuse allegations, only one of which can be said to have occurred on Ratzinger's watch, aren't really about supposed Vatican cover-ups of sexual exploitation of children by clerics. They are yet another effort to discredit the Roman Catholic Church wholesale by people whose beefs with Catholicism rest on entirely different grounds — namely that it forbids abortion and homosexual conduct, it doesn't allow women to be priests, and it requires men who enter the priesthood to remain celibate.

And what this one has to say about those who call Benny and his homophobic minions "men in dresses." As I frequently do. 

It's odd that no one ever uses the word "dresses" to describe the ankle-length liturgical garments worn by Episcopal priests. Nor are Protestant ministers or Jewish rabbis derided as cross-dressers when they don long robes for religious services. Has anyone ever called the Dalai Lama "a man in a dress"? Or Genghis Khan? Not unless you wanted to see your ribcage sliced into salami by a scimitar.

I have to admit I never thought of that. Not Genghis Khan. Not my salami.OMG. But what's wrong with men in dresses anyway? I think they're GORGEOUS.



Although I have to say I'm extremely disappointed to see that the British Foreign office has been forced to apologize grovel for coming up with a list of things Benny might like to do when he visits Britain.

The memorandum, apparently written by staff planning events for the four-day visit by Pope Benedict XVI, suggested he might like to start a helpline for abused children, sack "dodgy" bishops, open an abortion ward, launch his own brand of condoms, preside at a civil partnership, perform forward rolls with children, apologise for the Spanish armada and sing a song with the Queen.

And I'm very sorry to see the perpetrator has been named and shamed.

THE civil servant who sent a "vile" email about the Pope's visit to Britain is an ex-public schoolboy who once listed "drinking a lot" among his hobbies.

Because I thought his ideas were brilliant, especially the ones about sacking "dodgy" bishops and apologizing for the Spanish Armada. Because it's about time eh? 

And then I read this story.

About how he DIDN'T sack them. And I thought of all the women and children and gay people those men in dresses have hurt. 

And now I just want to say.

There may be many good Catholics, but this Pope ain't one of them.

And although I wouldn't use this kind of language myself. And I wouldn't want my boss or my mum to hear it.

The Pope, the Jews, and the Gays

I see the Vatican's latest attempt to portray Pope Benny and his Catholic hierarchy as victims rather than enablers has backfired disastrously.

"They're sitting in the papal palace, they're experiencing a little discomfort, and they're going to compare themselves to being rounded up or lined up and sent in cattle cars to Auschwitz?

I mean really. How could they? When the Pope was in the Hitler Youth, and the Catholic Church persecuted Jews for CENTURIES.

And do these hideous old men in dresses really think they can get away with crimes like this one?

Top Vatican officials — including the future Pope Benedict XVI — did not defrock a priest who molested as many as 200 deaf boys, even though several American bishops repeatedly warned them that failure to act on the matter could embarrass the church, according to church files newly unearthed as part of a lawsuit.

Oh boy. I wish I could enjoy what's happening to Pope Benny and his acomplices. But to be honest I can't. I feel sorry for decent Catholics. And the whole story is too sordid and horrible.

I just wish the media coverage would include a mention of Pope Benny's war on gay people. And the way him and his bishops made an oppressed minority appear like the biggest problem in the world.

Because that should have acted as a warning. A warning that these hideous old men were perverting their own religion, and had lost their moral compass.

Now that's obvious. And we should be horrified.

But if homophobia wasn't so popular, more people would have seen it coming...

The Dancing Boys of Afghanistan

When I look at Stephanie Sinclair's famous photo of an Afghan man and his 11-year-old bride, it always makes me shudder.

But of course it's not just little girls who are used to pleasure older men in Afghanistan.So are the dancing boys.

The practice of taking young boys to perform as dancers at private parties is known as bacha bazi (literally, "boy for play") and is an Afghan tradition with very deep roots. Under Taliban rule, it was banned, but it has crept back and is now widespread, flourishing also in the cities, including the capital, Kabul, and a common feature of weddings, especially in the north.

The bacha dancers are often abused children whose families have rejected them. Their "owners" or "masters" can be single or married men, who keep them in a form of sexual slavery, as concubines....The Afghan authorities and human rights groups are aware of the plight of bacha boys, but seem powerless to stop it.

Just like they can't stop gay people and women who have been raped from being thrown into filthy jails. Or prevent husbands from starving their wives for not having sex with them.

It's such a horrible story...

In an adjacent room, 16-year-old Mustafa was preparing to dance next. His owner opened a small bundle of clothes and produced a long, blue skirt, crimson shirt, leather straps and bells.

Later, when he had finished his performance, Mustafa told me his story. "My grandfather kept telling me when I was a child to be careful of men because I was handsome," he said. "One day a mechanic in the town attacked me, my family rejected me and I had to go and stay with that man. Now I am with someone else and he taught me how to dance."

Which makes me sick to my stomach.

And makes me wonder why he died. At twenty-one. For what?

Afghanistan. Not just a military quagmire, but a moral swamp.

The forever war goes on and on. But who can save our soldiers from this doomed mission? How many more will die?

And who will save the children?

The Irish Orders and the Pedopriest Game

First they terrorized the poor children they were supposed to be looking after...beating, raping and humiliating them. Then they covered up the truth, and didn't punish the guilty.

Now they can't find the cash.

The Catholic orders responsible for abusing Ireland's poorest children say they're struggling to come up with money to help their victims.

Yet investigations into their net worth paint a very different picture - that of nuns and brothers with billions' worth of carefully sheltered assets worldwide.

Holey moley. Are these religious orders or Papa Benny's mob?

And wouldn't it be heavenly if life was a video game?

Although this one was a nightmare. I captured a few perverts, but I couldn't save the kids. Or get the cops to arrest the bishops.

I guess that just games imitating life eh?

Luckily in the real world it's never too late for justice. Pawn the Pope's bling if necessary.

But make the bastards PAY...

Catholic Child Abuse Scandal hits Ireland

For years the Catholic Church in Ireland has held that country in an icy grip.

Gay people have been treated like second class citizens. And women even worse.

Ireland’s abortion laws are among the most restrictive in Europe – amongst the most restrictive of all developed nations. Under Irish law a woman can risk life imprisonment for pursuing an elective abortion within the State, unless the pregnancy risks the mother’s life, or she is suicidal as a result of it.

So why am I not surprised by this horror?

The five-volume study concluded that church officials encouraged ritual beatings and consistently shielded their orders' paedophiles from arrest amid a "culture of self-serving secrecy".

It also found that government inspectors failed to stop the chronic beatings, rapes and humiliation.

Just sickened. The poor little children.

Punish every last one of these cruel bully monsters. And every government inspector who looked the other way.

Don't let them get away with it.

Make abortion legal TOMORROW.

Keep these religious perverts away from kids....

The Archbishop, the Order of Canada, and the Pedophile

The other day I noticed that the Catholic Archbishop of Montreal had decided to return his Order of Canada to protest against Dr Henry Morgentaler's nomination.

Cardinal Jean-Claude Turcotte says he cannot remain in the same prestigious club as the man who fought for abortion rights in Canada.

"My initial reaction was that they are cheapening the Order of Canada by giving it to someone so questionable..."

I didn't pay too much attention at the time , because as everyone knows the campaign to get people to return their medallions has been a miserable flop. The flood that never happened.

But then I started to wonder why the anti-choice fanatics weren't making a bigger deal of Turcotte's decision to return his bling. Even Lifeshite buried the story.Their reaction was so muted it was almost as if they were trying to HIDE something.

So I did a little digging and discovered it was all because of this guy....











Phillippe de Maupéou, a Montreal priest who pleaded guilty to molesting an 8-year-old girl ....by stroking her breasts and her private parts...and making inappropriate gestures towards another.

And how the Archbishop reacted when de Maupéou finished serving his community sentence last month. By rewarding him with a $60,000 bursary to study law in Ottawa.

And declaring that he wasn't really a pedophile...but had just made a mistake.

"We had him treated...he spent several months in a specialized institute to determine if he was a pedophile or whether it was a behavioural mistake. We know he's not a pedophile modern science tells us that....I can even tell you that he served his sentence at my place. I took him into the bishop's office because one tries to be charitable towards people like that...."

Isn't that typical? They go crazy about a blob the size of a tadpole. But as for the little children....well they're on their own. And as for the priests who abuse them...well they're only human.

And here's the kicker. The Archbishop says the non-pedophile law student can be useful to him by dealing with lawsuits involving the Church.

Oh boy. No wonder the anti-choicers are hushing that one up. Let's see...what does the little group that has returned their medallions include ? A dead nun, a convicted child abuser, and a now a pedophile protector.

Who will they dig up next I wonder?

You know before the Archbishop accuses anyone of cheapening anything he should take a good look at himself...and his Church. Shame on him. Shame on them.

I'm glad Turcotte is returning his Order of Canada. Henry Morgentaler deserves it.

But he sure doesn't ...
