Well as you might remember, when we last left Doug Ford, he was up to his waist in the his ethical swamp, protesting or bellowing his innocence.
Claiming that he would never sell bogus party memberships.
Or intimidate another candidate.
And of course dodging questions from the media.
But what a difference a day makes. Yesterday he was still treading water.
Today he's sinking like a stone.
Yesterday I wondered whether Andrew Scheer was losing his marbles, or whether he was just acting like a shabby Con artist again.
And I'm afraid the answer is he's both crazy AND shameless.
For he will not give up his never-ending assault on what he calls Justin Trudeau's "illegal vacation."
And now he has a new angle, and it couldn't be more disgusting.
As we all know Andrew Scheer has been turning parliament into a freak show by going after the decent Bill Morneau day in day out.
Accusing him of using tax shelters, and being guilty of being rich.
And all but demanding that he sell Morneau Shepell, the business his family founded.
But sadly for Scheer it seems that he has been guilty of first degree hypocrisy.
A few days ago I wondered how long we might have to wait before marijuana is legalized in this country.
And whether the premiers, the police, and Andrew Scheer's Cons would be able to stop the Trudeau government from making next years's Canada Day also Cannabis Day.
But now I'm feeling a lot more confident that the target date will be respected.
Now that I know that two former senior police officers, including one who was a Con minister, are jumping on the marijuana bandwagon.
It may be the most overhyped story to hit the Commons in a long long time. And the most racist.
But the Cons are desperate to find something, anything, to try to hurt the Trudeau government.
So Rona Ambrose really did say this yesterday.
But then of course she should know eh?
As we know Stephen Harper and Jason Kenney have been in the same leaky boat, or the same sweaty closet, from the day the Con regime was crushed and humiliated.
Still collecting their big fat MP pay cheques, while doing nothing to deserve them.
With Harper setting up his own business, and Kenney campaigning for another job in Alberta.
But now at last it seems they are finally about to summon up the courage to resign.
And it turns out it won't be THAT painful.
When Michelle Rempel was a screeching cog in the Con regime, she used to spend a lot of time trying to stop refugees from coming to Canada.
But since she was evicted from power, she now spends a lot of time accusing the Liberals of not accepting enough Yazidis, a Kurdish minority group in Iraq that has been singled out for particularly brutal treatment by the ISIS crazies.
Claiming that while the Harper regime cared passionately about their fate.
The Liberals aren't doing enough to save them.
He is Canada's most notorious hate monger, and his ghastly Rebel site is a sewer of bigotry.
But whether he is mocking the death of Jack Layton, or going after the Roma or the Muslims, Ezra Levant would rather call himself Canada's free speech champion.
Even though as it turns out, that couldn't be more farcical.
You had to see the look on Rona Ambrose's face today. For she wasn't smiling or giggling like she was after she called Justin Trudeau a woman.
She was screaming like a banshee.
The Liberals and the NDP have finally agreed on something.
The Cons are on the road to ruin.
It's just as well Stephen Harper didn't choose to emerge yesterday from the hole where he has been hiding for most of the winter.
For it was Groundhog Day, and he probably would have felt like all those other poor furry creatures awoken so rudely from their hibernation.
Blinking in the bright TV lights, and being asked to explain why his campaign prediction that sunny economic days were ahead, could have been so horribly wrong.
Or even worse for Great Furry leader, having to answer questions about this act of Con bestiality.
Like her leathery leader Rona The Vulture Ambrose, Candice Bergen likes to dress in black.
And with good reason.
She is one of the nastiest Cons in the House of Commons.
As you may know Rona Ambrose has always been a ghastly hypocrite.
Who would go after child care for the Trudeau children, while claiming to be a feminist.
Or even worse, pretend to be a doctor.
While sentencing thousands of heroin addicts to death by making it almost impossible to set up needle sharing clinics.
Stephen Harper has so many monstrous human flaws, I think my fingers would fall off before I finished typing all of them.
But one of the worst is his ghastly hypocrisy.
For he is the leader who promised transparency when he came to power only to turn his filthy regime into the most secretive government ever. The leader who promised to clean up government only to turn it into a pig sty.
The one who talks about "freedom" all the time while passing Bill C-51 that would turn us into a police state.
And this banquet last night is only the latest example.
Well the last time we saw James Moore he was bobbing up and down in English Bay claiming that the Con's pathetic oil recovery effort was "world class."
But now I'm delighted to report, the Con beluga has spouted his last blast of hot air, slipped below the surface.
And become the latest high-profile Con to abandon Stephen Harper.

Oh boy. I should have figured it out. I should have known the real reason Peter MacKay decided to resign just a few months before an election.
Suddenly decided to ride off gently, or clatter off noisily into the sunset.
He may have wanted to spend more time with his young family, or spend more time fishing.
But I bet this reason was foremost in his mind, or his wallet.
As I'm sure you know, Stephen Harper likes to pose as a great friend of children, or a Great Mother Leader.
When he's not posing as a Great Warrior Leader.
And fighting child pornographers has always been a big part of the Con political platform...
But sadly like so many other Con promises or threats, there's the ugly rhetoric and then there's the ugly reality.
