The Bobo Cons and the Chinese Menace

Golly. I see Peter MacKay was in the hot seat again today. Claiming he's smart enough to keep those fancy jets from costing us an arm and a leg. And failing miserably.

When questioned by reporters Tuesday, MacKay cited segments of Ferguson's report that he said showed Parliamentary Budget Officer Kevin Page had also left operating costs out of his accounting on the F-35s.

But MacKay was actually citing the Department of National Defence's own accounting in the auditor general's report, not Page's. DND took out the operating costs for its lower estimate, while Page included them in his own $14-billion figure.

Gawd. Now can we call him Bobo?

Yes. But don't laugh too loudly, because now we finally know why the Cons want those jets soooooo badly. It's not to defend us from the Russians, it's for when we go to war with China.

The wider international backdrop to the F-35 purchase is an America concerned about the rise of China in the Pacific. The Canadian government’s decision to go with the F-35 appears to be part of a tacit political agreement between the United States and key allies like Japan and Australia to contain China’s ambitions.

If, with a nod and a wink, you sign up for a Western alliance that sees the rise of China as a destabilizing and potentially existential threat, then the cost of the F-35 ceases to be of paramount concern.

But wait, now I'm confused eh? Aren't we selling the Chinese the oil sands? Aren't we building a pipeline just to please them? Aren't we counting on them to save us from another recession? The Cons are still good money managers aren't they?

Nope.

Oh boy. Now might be the time to invest in a fancy condo.

Or if you are one of the idiots who voted for Bobo Harper.

Find solace wherever you can...

While you still can. *Hic.*

You know we're really going to have to get those Cons an ejection seat. And push that button. And soon.

Before they send our country into a death spiral.

And before the Chinese find out about Great Ugly Leader's Pax Americana Plan for Total World Domination. And push their button.

And this story ends REALLY badly....

The Cons are a threat to our democracy. They're a threat to our economy. They're a threat to our food supply.

The Globe and Mail has learned that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Agriculture Canada will be among the hardest-hit departments as Ottawa rolls out where it will cut 19,200 jobs across the country.

If we don't stop them soon. *Hic*

I swear they'll kill us ALL...

Harper has already given Canada to China. Harper has permitted China, to buy up the tar sands. China refuses to pay Canadian wages. Harper is allowing China, to bring their own people to work their huge tar sands holdings. China refuses to have the dirty tar oil refined in Canada...they can pay their own people crap wages, to refine in China. Harper is also permitting China, to bring thousands and thousands of their people, to build the Enbridge pipeline, very quickly. China wants the tar oil, yesterday.

Same in BC. Gordon Campbell, Harper's favorite henchman, had already shipped BC mills to China, along with our raw logs. This put 131,000 BC mill people out of jobs. China also owns BC mines...they are bringing their own people to work those jobs too.

China has many, many company's in Canada. Harper is now controlled by China. Harper gave Canada to China, on a silver platter.

Don't Canadians remember? Fadden of CSIS warned, of China's huge encroachments into Canada? Well, our worst nightmares are coming true.

In yester year, Harper and Campbell would be tried for High Treason and hung, for what they have done to this province of BC, and our country of Canada.

hi anonymous...these Cons don't know what they're doing. First they ignore the Chinese, call them godless atheists and hug the Dalai Lama. Then they drop him like a stone, start selling off Canada to the Chinese, and calling them our saviours, while preparing to go to war with them. Golly. Why do I think this plan is going to end badly?
