Is Donald Trump Suffering From Untreated Syphilis?
It should be obvious by now that there is something terribly wrong with Donald Trump.
This deranged tweet he fired off yesterday is only more evidence of that.
For in a normal world he would have been arrested for inciting violence against the media.
And then there was that bizarre press conference.
Which had many wondering, like this senior Republican, whether Trump's wires are crossed.
A perfect rollout? A fine-tuned machine? If Trump believes any of this to be true, he is delusional. Yet even if he is not suffering from outright delusions, and is simply attempting to cover his obvious failures with glorious adjectives, his mind, as it was put on display today, clearly has wires crossed.
But while many health professionals believe he is suffering from some kind of narcissistic personality disorder.
And some think he's dangerous.
Mr. Trump’s speech and actions demonstrate an inability to tolerate views different from his own, leading to rage reactions. His words and behavior suggest a profound inability to empathize. Individuals with these traits distort reality to suit their psychological state, attacking facts and those who convey them (journalists, scientists).
In a powerful leader, these attacks are likely to increase, as his personal myth of greatness appears to be confirmed. We believe that the grave emotional instability indicated by Mr. Trump’s speech and actions makes him incapable of serving safely as president.
Others believe he may be a world class narcissist, but he isn't at the disorder stage. Yet.
And then there's this infectious disease specialist, who believes that Trump may be suffering from untreated syphilis.
The symptoms of neurosyphilis are protean, varying widely from one individual to another. Commonly recognized symptoms include irritability, loss of ability to concentrate, delusional thinking, and grandiosity. Memory, insight, and judgment can become impaired. Insomnia may occur. Visual problems may develop, including the inability of pupils to react to the light. This, along other ocular pathology, can result in photophobia, dimming of vision, and squinting. All of these things have been observed in Trump.
Given the limited information available, neurosyphilis belongs in the differential diagnosis. We know Trump was potentially exposed to syphilis based on his own statements that he was sexually promiscuous in the 1980s, a period when syphilis cases were rapidly increasing in the U.S.
And who is to say he isn't?
When that cowardly orange draft dodger once compared his promiscuous behaviour to serving in the Vietnam war...
“It is a dangerous world out there—it’s scary, like Vietnam. Sort of like the Vietnam era. It is my personal Vietnam. I feel like a great and very brave solider.”
And anyone who would say that must be diseased, or suffering from a fatal moral disorder.
But then surely his doctor would have caught it before the syphilis spread...
Wouldn't he?
So I'm sticking with my diagnosis of terminal narcissism.
For what else can explain Trump's fixation with number of people who attended his inauguration? Or the way he obsesses over his ratings.
Or his desperate need to hold another campaign rally more than three months after he won the election...
Just so he can bathe in the adulation of his faithful followers, and try to make up for the love his nasty daddy never gave him.
And the good news?
With every passing day there are fewer of those faithful followers.
And if his numbers keep falling it won't be long before Trump does go over the deep end.
For that senior Republican is right.
All this would be comical if it were not so alarming. Something is deeply wrong with our president and the country is in danger. The danger will only be averted when the Republican leadership in Congress publicly acknowledges what they and the rest of the entire world already know: America's president is not wearing any clothes.
The emperor does have no clothes.
He is slowly losing his mind.
And in the name of his sanity, and our survival.
He will have to be forcibly removed from office long before his term is over....

Pense knows. In Europe, he has just said ' pay no attention to what Trump says, I'm really in charge '.
Story told to us on MSNBC last night is that Ted Turner who wants to merge CNN with AT&T got a visit from Trump's son-in-law who told Turner exactly which journalists at CNN he didn't like. The merger of two such big entities requires approvals from way up in government. Everybody should watch a little MSNBC.

You would have to think at this point there would be a mutiny or a coup if he ordered the launch of nukes.
Enter Keifer!
The way Trumpotkin has treated women one can only hope that story is true.
Although he may suffer from some abnormalities his behavior is classic Trump. A constant stream of psychological bull to woo the believers and confound the enemy. If you can produce enough BS and repeat it enough times some of it is bound to stick and with enough perseverance and a bit of luck victory is the reward. For example somewhere around 2008 Deutsche Bank sued him over a multi million dollar loan that was not repaid. Things dragged on with little progress then Trump filed a counter suit citing Deutsche banks involvement in triggering the 2008 economic collapse and that their demands for repayment drove away potential buyers causing him enormous financial hardship. Very tenuous links but enough to lever an out of court settlement and ironically the bank restarted loaning him significant amounts of money some time later. This is the same bank that was charged with laundering Russian money and paid a six hundred million dollar fine. Internal bank audits have concluded there was no link between the Trump loans and the Russian laundromat but some Democrats are pressing for an independent audit. Good luck with that one.
Trump will continue doing what he does while the GOP plays with health care and tax reform. A tweak here, a tweak there, a bit of luck and presto another Trump victory that excludes them and his other opponents. Hopefully they will see the end game and react before the Commander in Chief really takes charge.

hi rumleyfips...yes it's interesting isn't it? There seem to be two parallel governments. The maniac Trump and his Bannon court, with the pretender Pence being protected from damage by the Republican establishment, so he can take over if or when the orange oaf has a complete meltdown. The fact that we have to rely on Pence to keep the U.S. government on track is a terrifying thought, but better that than have the maniac Trump melt us all...
hi anon...that's really interesting, because there can be no doubt that Trump is determined to crush the media. With Congress in the hands of the Republicans it is the only opposition he faces, and Trump has all the instincts of a brutish fascist. However the good news is that Americans are rallying to the defence of the media that attack Trump the most. The "failing" New York Times and the Washington Post have seen large increases in the number of subscriptions, and I'm sure the ratings of MSNBC and CNN are also increasing exponentially. And when it comes to the contest between the people's media, our side has a clear advantage. All hands on deck and show the Trumpanzees no mercy.... :)
hi anon...good one. And isn't that true? My mum in Scotland doesn't follow American politics that closely. But even she has Trump pegged as a con man and a depraved vulgarian...
hi anon...I would hope so, but as long as Trump is getting his advice from Bannon, and has the support of so many in the military, we can't be sure that sanity would prevail, and we're all in terrible danger...
hi Kathleen...yes, put out the call, and if we can't get Keifer maybe we can drop Rex Murphy on the White House... ;)
hi anon...it would be sweet revenge wouldn't it. But as I said in my post, it's probably too good to be true. Some of the symptoms of tertiary syphilis would have shown up already, like patchy hair loss. Oh wait, the way his orange mane is threatening to take off these days, maybe we will get lucky... ;)
hi RT...I wrote down this quote from the Art of the Deal the other day:
“The day I realised it can be smart to be shallow was, for me, a deep experience.”
And I think you'll agree it is terrifying, for it suggests that there is some method to his madness.
But as you point out, while Trump does confuse and confound his opponents, he also has a number of mines floating just under the surface. And all it would take is for one of them to detonate, to blow him out of the water, or weaken him enough for him to be impeached. I admit that is clutching on to a very thin reed, but I only hope that my sense of impending doom applies to him as much as it does to us. He wasn't seriously prepared to become president, and hopefully that will come back to haunt him....
I'd suggest Trump is bi-polar, with most of time being spent in the "high phase". Of course it could be he is just a rude, narcistic, over indulged child in an adult's body.
There is something wrong with him. he isn't normal. When he goes on some of his rants he simply is out of control and his speech pattern changes from time to time also. Every person he hires is smart, very smart, very very smart. Then its a going to be great, really great, really really great. He doesn't seem to be able to stop himself. everyone he describes or anything he is going to do is so wonderful, great, etc.
It may be that he suffers from low self esteem and to compensate for it, everyone associated with him has to be so fabulous so that it reflects on him. As in he can attract the best and the brightest, thus making him so also.
What ever it is he is suffering from, please let it progress quickly so he can be replaced. its not that its kind to wish illness on someone but in this case, the greater good ought to prevail.
Proving once again what a despicable ass he is:
"Former prime minister Brian Mulroney apparently sang to U.S. President Donald Trump at the Mar-a-Lago in Florida Saturday night.
A video posted on social media that appeared to be taken from a fundraising event shows Mulroney singing "When Irish Eyes are Smiling" on the stage at the Mar-a-Lago club."
