In a White House full of freaks and flunkies Stephen Miller stands out as the freakiest of them all, after Great Orange Leader himself.
The Trump "policy adviser" has been called everything from Goebbels to Gargamel, the evil wizard who wants to destroy the Smurfs and turn them into gold.
But I call him Lizard Boy, for his smarmy racism, and the way he used to taunt Latino students in his high school, and order them to speak English.
Donald Trump is said to be in a desperate state. A man raging at the world.
Michael Wolff's book Fire and Fury, and Steve Bannon's betrayal, have apparently driven him to the verge of a nervous breakdown.
This tweet sent out late last night is a measure of his madness.
And what he tweeted this morning is even more alarming
Once they were America's oddest political couple, the flaming dotard Donald Trump and the grubby boozer Steve Bannon.
Five months ago, after he fired Bannon, Trump couldn't say enough nice things about his alt-right buddy.
Now he's saying that the day Bannon was fired, he didn't just lose his job, he lost his mind.
As someone at the New York Daily News said, life comes at you fast.
And now it's a cuck fight.
As I'm sure you know, Roy Moore is a disgusting creature, more hog than human, for many reasons.
He's a dirty old man who had to be banned from a mall so he couldn't harass young teenage girls.
He's a religious fanatic, who makes a mockery out of the Christian religion.
But the worst thing about him is his monstrous homophobia.
I can't imagine a more satisfying situation, or justice more divine.
Roy Moore, the homophobic bigot who likes to portray himself as a God's gift to America, now being accused of being a pervert who liked to go after VERY young women.
Moore, who is running for a Senate seat in Alabama, is still claiming he kept his "gun" in his pants.
But with every passing day the evidence against him becomes more overwhelming.
I have always believed that in the sweaty core of every homophobic religious fanatic there lurks a monstrous pervert.
And the case of Roy Moore, a Republican senatorial candidate in Alabama, only proves my point.
Moore believes that the Bible not the U.S. constitution should guide the affairs of government. He believes that homosexuality should be illegal.
He likes to pull out his gun in public.
But now he may have put at least one bullet into the Republican Party.
It's hard to believe that today marks one year since Donald Trump was elected as the 45th President of the United States.
It seems like so much longer.
But at least he's far away in South East Asia today, and at least he doesn't have much to celebrate.
Not after voters in the U.S. gave him a magnificent kick in the head.
He's a dirty old man, a grubby sexual predator, a racist, a white supremacist, and an anti-gay bigot.
He steals from the poor to give to the rich. He's trying to leave more than 20 million Americans without any health coverage, and leading his country to war.
The only time he goes down on his knees is on a golf course...
But don't tell that to the Holy Bigots.
As I'm sure you know, Donald Trump's visit to Puerto Rico last week was the worst visit by a U.S. president, to any place, ever.
He insulted the people of that battered island by telling them to stop complaining because hurricane Katrina was worse. And they should save their energy to praise him instead.
He threw rolls of paper towels at them, and had to be restrained from throwing cans of chicken soup.
And as if that wasn't enough, he ended his Tour of Shame, by deliberately mispronouncing the name of the island.
Donald Trump likes to compare himself favourably to Abraham Lincoln, the only president he believes who was (slightly) greater than him.
And when there's a full moon, he has even been heard to describe himself as the Great Uniter.
Which of course is hilarious. MAGA !!! MAGA!!! MA HA HA HA!!!
But now at least he may have earned himself the title of the great Un-Lincoln.
Yesterday I wrote about how Donald Trump's dinner with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer had outraged many of his loyal supporters.
After it produced a deal between the main course and dessert to protect young undocumented immigrants.
A deal which has given the Republican leadership a bad case of indigestion.
One that has the alt-right rag Breitbart calling Trump "Amnesty Don" and accusing Trump's opponents of gloating.
And one that has some of the Orange Oaf's most fanatic supporters going to extraordinary lengths to show how betrayed they feel.
Ever since Donald Trump gave Mitch McConnell the cold shoulder and made a deal with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, Republicans have been in a state of total shock.
And to a slightly lesser extent so have the Democrats...
But while the Republicans scream betrayal, and wonder what Trump might do next...
I don't know or care how the grubby boozer Steve Bannon managed to burrow into Donald Trump's diseased brain.
And only a psychiatrist can explain why Trump believed anything Bannon told him.
But now Bannon has granted an interview to CBS' 60 Minutes, and one thing he said did make sense.
As you can imagine, Donald Trump has so many things to worry about these days.
What with Hurricane Irma threatening to engulf the state of Florida
And the Hispanic Hurricane Jose following so closely behind.
It's a climate change denier's AND a bigot's nightmare.
But of course the hurricane he's really worried about is Hurricane Mueller.
When I was in university I used to bore and no doubt depress my friends, by frequently and confidently predicting that fascism was coming to America.
And that it would be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross, as Sinclair Lewis said it would in his 1935 novel It Can't Happen Here.
Until I found out that Lewis never said that.
And then when I survived the Bush regime, unlike about a million others. And religious fanatics like Jerry Falwell hit the ground hit the ground with a sickening thud, that was music to my ears, I began to think I was lucky, and that we were safe eh?
But of course, as we all know, we weren't lucky, and now nobody is safe.
He can often be seen looking on at Donald Trump's grotesque travelling circus with a strange smile on his face.
When asked to say something about his boss, Mike Pence sounds as loyal as a butler, or as giddy as a college cheerleader.
But appearances can be deceiving.
For it seems that should something horrible happen to Trump, like a heart attack, or a stroke, or a fatal case of impeachitis.
Or should General Kelly fail to control him...
As you know, the other day Donald Trump was quoted as calling the White House a "real dump."
But now that he's at General Kelly's Tough Love School he's denying it.
And to prove how much he loves the place he's going to extraordinary lengths.
As the conservative author and broadcaster Charlie Sykes said, it was the week when President Pyromaniac set the White House on fire.
His worst week ever.
In five torrid days, the US president alienated conservatives by savaging his own attorney general; earned a rebuke from the Pentagon over a rushed ban on transgender troops; watched impotently as the Senate dealt a crushing blow to his legislative agenda with the fall of healthcare reform; ousted Priebus; and threw a human grenade – the new communications director, Anthony Scaramucci – into his already dysfunctional White House.
The week when Donald Trump turned a Scout jamboree into something resembling a Hitler Youth rally.
A week when he never sounded more like a fascist dictator.
A few months ago the big German magazine Der Spiegel ran this cover of Donald Trump.
With the title "The End of the World, As We Know it."
And yesterday when the flaming orange proclaimed that the U.S. is pulling out of the Paris Accord, it was shared on social media all over the planet.
But while it is a good cover, I think I like this other cover better...
After nine days abroad in Europe and the Middle East Donald Trump is on his back to Washington and calling his trip a "home run."
When in fact it was a total disaster, and Trump never looked so crazy and dangerous.
President Trump failed to commit to remaining within the Paris climate agreement during a two-day meeting with world leaders that ended here Saturday, but he tweeted that he was still considering it and would announce a final decision “next week.”
He was however able to dodge questions from the media, but as the Simpsons predict, now it's back to reality.
