I see that the FBI has started investigating Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
The FBI has begun contacting people as part of an additional background investigation of Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, including a second woman who alleges that the Supreme Court nominee sexually assaulted her.
And one can only hope that Kavanaugh is in better shape than he was at last Thursday's Senate hearing.
When he stunned the world with his Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde impersonation.
They say an apple never falls far from the tree. Especially if it's rotten to the core.
And in the case of Donald Trumps's family, the would be first family of America, that couldn't be more true.
For this is what his ghastly spawn Donald Trump Jr. tweeted last night.
Donald Trump is always declaring war on something or somebody, so he can look bigger in one of his many mirrors, or in the eyes of the mob.
One day it's Mexico, the next day it's lying' Hillary Clinton, or the media, or anyone who dares criticize him.
So it's sometimes hard to remember his most dangerous war.
His insane war on the planet itself.
He launched his campaign like an angry orange Hitler on steroids, by calling Mexicans drug dealers and rapists, vowing to immediately deport 11 million undocumented immigrants.
Build a great wall along the southern border, and make Mexico pay for it.
But when Donald Trump realized he was alienating moderate Republicans and his polls were starting to resemble a rapidly deflating piƱata, he decided he should moderate his image.
So off to Mexico he went...
Once upon a time Donald Trump's passionate bromance with Vladimir Putin had its comic qualities.
But not any longer. Not after this.
And what Trump said yesterday was not only dangerous and crazy.
I didn't get to watch Donald Trump introduce his running mate Mike Pence yesterday.
For it is summer, and both it and life are too short.
But now I'm sorry I didn't.
Because it was Trump at his worst or most bizarre.
In one of my last posts I tried to explain why most Scots hate Donald Trump so much.
And why so many are planning to protest his visit.
And now that he has arrived in that country, there was more evidence that Trump just doesn't get it.
And why he is unfit to be President of the United States.
It's hard for me to imagine a more disturbing image. This file picture of Donald Trump screaming like a maniac at one of his two Scottish gold courses. With a piper beaming behind him.
And in the background the grass covered dunes, that line the shore of the North Sea, that I used to play on when I was a boy.
It feels like a desecration. It's just too horrible.
But the good news is that Trump is heading back to Scotland tomorrow, and he's going to get a very different kind of reception.
It should have been a good week for Donald Trump. He's doing his best to tone down his act and look more "presidential."
He won two more primary contests, albeit even though his opponents had already dropped out of the race.
He managed to patch up some of his differences with the Republican leadership. Sort of.
But all that has now been undone by a flood of negative stories.
Three days ago I told you about Stephen Harper's visit to Las Vegas, to meet with the shadowy right wing billionaire Sheldon Adelson.
And lecture Republicans on how to united their fracturing party.
But I wasn't able to determine whether Harper also attended the Republican Jewish Coalition meeting that Adelson was hosting that weekend.
That is until I saw this.
As soon as I saw that picture of Stephen Harper a few months ago, posing for a selfie outside a Shake Shack in Las Vegas, I was almost sure I knew why he was really there.
Not to soak up the sun, or stuff himself with the Shack's crinkle cut cheese fries, or its almost legendary frozen custard.
But to pay his respects to this creepy Republican billionaire.
He's still standing. He's still leading the chorus line from Hell to the Republican nomination.
But Donald Trump is looking and sounding a lot less confident these days.
And with good reason.
It was a REALLY bad week.
A few days ago, I pointed out that Donald Trump learned most of his political skills in the wrestling ring.
That's why everything is bigger than life, or YUUUUGE.
That's why every villain is an ethnic stereotype, that's why he talks like does.
Well now he's back in the ring again.
And he's going after Ted Cruz !!!!!
