As I'm sure you know by now, the sinister religious fanatic Andrew Scheer is on a crusade to try to turn Canada into a theocracy. Two days ago I told you how he had humiliated the would be feminist Rona Ambrose, by arranging to replace her with a candidate who once called feminists "feminazis." And has strong alt-right tendencies.
Which couldn't be more deeply disturbing or less Canadian. But that's not the only depraved crusade Scheer is on.
We already knew that Andrew Scheer is a sinister religious fanatic, who doesn't believe in women's rights, and believes that gay Canadians are "abhorrent." We knew that he likes to smile a lot, even when he's talking about child rape and other dirty sex stuff in the House of Commons. Except when he is in his office working on plans to turn Canada into a theocracy. But who knew that he was more American than Canadian?
As I'm sure you know, Brad Trost is a religious fanatic who likes to think of himself as a holy warrior battling Muslims, women who need an abortion, and gay people. Not necessarily in that order. And like most religious fanatics he likes to think that he is better than we are. So this must be REALLY embarrassing.
You might think that Rona Ambrose's main concern would be the way her allegedly new/nouveau party is turning into a collection of bigots and right-wing religious extremists. What with Kellie Leitch trying to scapegoat refugees and immigrants for their "anti-Canadian values." While Brad Trost stands up for those anti-Canadian values by taking aim at women and gay Canadians. And the religious fanatic Andrew Scheer threatens to take the Harper Party even further to the right. But no, the ghastly Ambrose has only one thing on her mind.
Press Progress It seems I might have been a bit too hasty when I labelled the Harper Party, the Trump Party. For while Kellie Leitch and Tony Clement are doing their pathetic best to foster that impression...
And I'm sure both those losers will eventually succeed in labelling it the Trump Party in the eyes of most Canadians. It's important to remember that the Harper Party has always been, and still is, Canada's Homophobic Party.
Yesterday I tried illustrate the effect Stephen Harper's foul legacy was having on the Con leadership race. With the most mediocre candidates that party and this country has ever seen shuffling around or buzzing around, seeking to replace him. And I wrote that I didn't think it could get any worse. But sadly I was wrong.
Yesterday I told you how ever since Jason Kenney announced he was flying off to Alberta to fight the godless commies, the Con's religious base has has been in a frigging frenzy. Demanding that another religious fanatic be summoned to lead the Harper Party. And it seems that their prayers are being answered. The former speaker Andrew Scheer is preparing to answer the call. And here comes another one crawling out of the woodwork.
As we all know the hideous religious fanatic Jason Kenney has been hinting strongly that he is about to leave Ottawa, and ride west to unite the right in Alberta. No doubt believing that he will be given a hero's welcome, or be greeted like Jesus himself. Which sadly for him appears to be more and more delusional. But just the prospect that Kenney could leave, has another monstrous religious fanatic threatening to run for the leadership of the Harper Party.
It was a bizarre apparition. At the Con convention yesterday during a discussion on how to modernize the Harper Party, MP Marilyn Gladu came out dressed as the Grim Reaper. In what was apparently an attempt to make fun of the idea that the Cons are doomed after losing the last election. But as it turns out maybe Gladu did choose the right costume. And the right words. Because today the loser party will discuss same-sex marriage.
Holy jumpin' Joan of Saskatchewan !!! I gotta give the Con wingnut Brad Trost some credit eh? Not only does he look FABULOUS in a dress. I hear he's declared a holy redneck jihad against Great Ugly Leader.

Speaking to CBC's Evan Solomon, host of Power & Politics, Trost said the government should "take a position that's at least moderate, rather than the extreme left position that we're taking."
Look, I don't know whether bubbah Brad is an uber right-wing extremist, or mentally ill, or an idiot. Or all of the above.
But what I do know is that he is a real threat. And I wouldn't dismiss him as lightly as JJ does.
Because the fact is Stephen Harper and his Cons depend on their rabid zombie base to keep their war room dollars coming. They will depend on them even more when the subsidies to political parties are phased out.
And since Harper can't use the excuse of a minority government to keep them in line anymore, he will have to offer them more than just hope.
He will have to throw them some big juicy bones. And if not abortion, how about defunding the CBC? Like Trost demands on his website.
Because in that regard him and his Con zombies just got a big juicy down payment.
Heritage Minister James Moore wants to slash CBC’s budget by 10 per cent, The Huffington Post has learned.
Although a government decision is far from complete, Moore has discussed his wish to see the public broadcaster’s $1.1-billion allocation cut by ten per cent, sources said. Moore had earlier this summer suggested the CBC could face a cut of "at least 5 per cent."
Just a few weeks ago it was five per cent, then Trost began riling up the base, and now it's TEN. Or one hundred million dollars. Four years of that and the CBC will be lying face down in a pool of blood. Along with many other Canadian institutions that we love, but they hate so much.
Yup. Some Canadians are sleepwalking to disaster with their eyes wide open. But I'm not one of them.
I know the Con zombies are on the march. Looking for blood.
Harper will be forced to feed them, and his own demons.
