For most pandemic weary Canadians it's something to celebrate. 

The approval of the AstraZeneca vaccine, and the impending arrival of yet another.

On the heels of Health Canada’s authorization of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, the Johnson & Johnson shot could join the country’s arsenal within weeks, says Health Canada's Chief Medical Adviser Dr. Supriya Sharma.

It's like a light at the end of a long dark tunnel.

Unless of course you're Outhouse O'Toole and his Cons, and you can't look and sound more disappointed...

Why Erin O'Toole Is Caught Between a Rock and a Hard Base

I can only imagine how Outhouse O'Toole must have reacted after learning that Health Canada had approved the AstraZeneca vaccine 

But it couldn't have been pretty, even with all that lipstick on to try to make him look like a moderate. 

He was hoping to use the vaccine shortage issue to destroy Justin Trudeau, so he must be soooooo disappointed.

And to make matters worse, he's going to have to use some anti-kook vaccine to inoculate his own supporters.

Erin O'Toole has only been Con leader for six months, but already he's crawling through the gutter, and drowning in his own excrement.

He lies all the time, just like Andrew Scheer did before him.

And his hatred for Justin Trudeau is so toxic he refuses to condemn those who would encourage the sickos of this world to kill him.

As if Justin Trudeau didn't have enough challenges battling a pandemic, now he's preparing to take on another kind of enemy, an old enemy.

He's trying to make Canada safer, and less like ugly America.

But predictably the gun nuts are very unhappy. So unhappy the president of the National Firearms Association is making jokes about bringing back the guillotine to deal with the "tyranny" of gun control.

As I'm sure you all know by now, Erin O'Toole is desperately trying to fool Canadians into believing that he's really a nice guy.

And that because he expelled the SoCon bigot Derek Sloan, and demoted the yappy Pierre Poilievre, his ugly party is now a more moderate one.

But as I warned, you can't put lipstick on a hog or a Con.

The Amazing Mars Landing of the Rover Perseverance

I am frequently accused of having my head in the clouds, which isn't true. I'm just smarter than those who say that, and they're jealous eh?

But yesterday I must admit, I was hovering just above Mars.

Hoping that the rover Perseverance would be able to land on the red planet, in one piece.

Since only about ten minutes before touchdown it was travelling at 12,000 miles an hour, it was never going to be an easy thing.

The Vaccine Hysteria and the Angry Old Men

On the frontlines of the Covid nightmare, it's the belief that keeps many totally exhausted health workers from collapsing.

The belief that whatever our differences, we're all in this one together.

I share that belief. I see it as a chance to unite to defeat a lethal alien enemy. I see it as a great and noble cause.

So the ugly chorus of angry old men echoing in my ears these days absolutely disgusts me.

What If Trump Had Died Of Covid?

I'll never forget the moment that I heard that Donald Trump had Covid. And how although I'm an atheist, I prayed that it would be fatal.

And I'll always remember how bitterly disappointed I was that he didn't die.

How could the orange monster have survived? How could he shrug it off as nothing more than a bad cold?

When his age combined with his unhealthy lifestyle should have made him particularly vulnerable.

The Excellent Humiliation of Pierre Poilievre

For years Pierre Poilievre has been the loudest and most annoying Con attack beast in the House of Commons.

A pension porker who learned his ugly trade on the knees of Stephen Harper, and who now spends his time trying to eviscerate Chrystia Freeland, and of course his arch enemy Justin Trudeau.

While his many groupies scream for Trudeau's head, and wonder why the boring Erin O'Toole is Con leader instead of Poilievre. 

So you can imagine how they must be feeling now that their darling Skippy has been cruelly deflated

Trying to make Harper look like a real leader, only to make them both look like idiots.

But don't be fooled, because under his clown make up, and his buffoon hat, lurks a dangerous right-winger.

The Con Mob and the Vaccine Hysteria

In all my years as a blogger few things have enraged me more than the way the grubby Cons, their media stooges, and other  toxic Trudeau haters, have tried to blame the prime minister for a temporary delay in the numbers of vaccines.

Claiming that he is responsible for production delays in European factories, and trying to scare Canadians for crass political purposes, even though he is totally blameless.

I told you how disgusted I was by this cowardly totally un-Canadian behaviour in my last post.

And I also made it clear on Twitter exactly how I feel about the situation.

Is the Con Media Trying To Overthrow Justin Trudeau?

I must admit, I didn't think that anything our shabby and terribly mediocre Con media said or did, could still shock me.

So I wasn't surprised to see the gassy Vassy Kapelos treating the vaccine delay as yet another fake scandal. And yet another chance to go after Justin Trudeau. 

In the middle of a deadly pandemic.

I was only mildly disgusted, for Cons will be Cons, and gassy is NOT another word for classy.  

But this is absolutely outrageous.

Why Erin O'Toole's Desperate Makeover Is Failing So Miserably

As I'm sure you know, Erin O'Toole is desperately trying to improve his image. After being forced to expel the hate mongering religious fanatic Derek Sloan he's now claiming that the Cons are a totally new/nouveau party.

But sadly for him it's all going horribly wrong.

It seems you really can't put lipstick on a hog, or a Con.
