For nine long weeks Justin Trudeau has been forced to defend himself from the Cons and their media stooges, who tried to use the fake scandal to destroy him.
But that scandal finally passed away the other day, not with a bang but a whimper.
And now Trudeau is putting on the gloves again.
In my last post I looked at how Andrew Scheer had been caught accusing the United Nations and Justin Trudeau of trying to erase Canada's borders.
With what turned out to be a neo-Nazi meme.
But it's worth recalling that he wasn't the first Con to go after the U.N.
The ugly redneck MP Larry Miller got there first.
With less than thirty shopping days to go before Christmas, I've been trying to ease myself into the spirit of the holiday season.
But let's face it, it's not easy.
Not with Donald Trump running wild in the United States.
Not with his malignant influence spreading into Canada.
As we all know Rona Ambrose and her Cons are having a really hard time attracting any star leadership candidates.
The only candidates they have managed to attract so far, like a candle attracts bugs, couldn't be more boring or more mediocre.
And it seems, more delusional.
The next time you hear Rona Ambrose call her zombie party the new/nouveau Cons, send her a message with just two words in it:
Larry Miller.
Because O'l Larry is still there, he couldn't be more Reform or more redneck.
He's still the "Keeper of the Flame" (more on that later.)
And he's just made a beast out of himself again.
It seems only appropriate that the only thing Stephen Harper tweeted yesterday, was a little video of himself learning the proper way to pour beer in Ireland.
Because I'll bet Great Leader was pouring himself more than a few last night, after what had to be an absolutely disastrous day for him and his ghastly Cons.
The day when his campaign of fear and bigotry came back to bite him. And he shot himself in the foot.
In a country where a Prime Minister is fanning the flames of racism.
And his Cons are dividing up the country between "whities" and "brown people."
In a Canada where too many have forgotten that diversity is strength.
This is what you get, the Reform bigot Larry Miller.
As people in the shattered little town of Lac-Mégantic try to recover from the terrifying tragedy that struck their town.
Try to come to terms with the fact that the bodies of many of their loved ones may never be found.
As all over Canada people who live near railway lines wonder if they will be next.
The Con chairman of the House of Commons transport committee says it's "premature" to discuss rail safety.
Uh oh. I KNEW it was a mistake to make Dean Del Mastro, the Con point man on the robocall scandal.
One moment he was leading the charge, bellowing like a bull, claiming da Liberals did it, and that the Cons didn't do dirty stuff like that.
The next moment he was under investigation.
