When Can't You Call A Nazi a Nazi?

Far right wing extremists may be crawling out of the woodwork all over world including Canada.

They may be racist, anti-semitic, anti-gay, and in many cases ultra violent, but please don't call them Nazis.

They'd rather be called white nationalists, or identitarians, or yellow vested patriots or whatevers.

Which has some progressives wondering when can you call a Nazi a Nazi?

Meet Canada's New and Dangerous Trudeau Haters

As I'm sure you know, I have been fighting back against the virulent Trudeau hate which is infecting our country like a hideous disease.

It's normalizing bigotry, it's slowly killing our Canadian values.

And judging from the comments I have been receiving, is resulting in a record number of death threats aimed at Trudeau...

And at myself...

I don't completely understand where this visceral hatred comes from, although I'm sure much of it is oozing like pus across the border from Trump's diseased America.

But what I do know is that Trudeau haters come in all shapes and sizes.

Donald Trump and the Night of the Nazis

At a time when Donald Trump is threatening to lead his nation to war, and making ugly noises about the freedom of the press.

At a time when neo-Nazis are on the march again.

The distinguished documentarian Marshall Curry thought it might be time for a cautionary tale.

And remind Americans of the night in 1939, when 20,000 Nazi supporters descended on New York's Madison Square Garden.

Donald Trump and the Antifa Question. Again

Donald Trump is trying to make us believe that he has turned over a new leaf, and that he's not as bad as we thought he was.

But sadly for him it's just not working.

For it seems he can't stop comparing Nazis to the Antifa, or anti-fascists, who confront them in the streets.

So, Once Again, Is It OK to Punch a Nazi?

Two days ago a small group of anti-fascists or antifa attacked a larger crowd of right-wing demonstrators in Berkeley, California.

And triggered that old question again: is it OK to punch a Nazi?

And now Martin Patriquin, after seeing that and what happened in Quebec City recently.

Jumps into the fray with this answer:

The Dangerous Cowardice of the Nazi Supporter Donald Trump.

I can only imagine how Donald Trump must be feeling after his depraved and disastrous reaction to that deadly Nazi party in Charlottesville.

But I wouldn't be surprised if he's ready to go nuclear, for he must be that desperate.

Democrats and Republicans are attacking him for failing to call a white supremacist a white supremacist, or a terrorist a terrorist.

And to make matters worse, his own darling Ivanka is making him look bad.

Donald Trump and the Neo--Nazi Terrorists

Along with the religious fanatics they have always been Donald Trump's most loyal supporters.

The ones who call themselves alt-rightists or white nationalists, but I call white supremacists and Neo-Nazis.

Since their Gropenfuhrer was elected President they have become even more brazen, and don't even bother to wear masks or white hoods anymore.

So this weekend they held a "Unite the Right" tiki torch party, and of course it ended badly.

The Internet Asks: Is It Okay to Punch a Nazi?

As you may know, Richard Spencer is one of the leaders of the so-called alt-right movement in the United States. The one who gave it its name.

He claims he is not a neo-nazi, but he is a white supremacist.

Shortly after Donald Trump's victory he was caught on video whipping his supporters into giving him the Nazi salute, after he screamed "Hail Trump, hail our people, hail victory!!!"

And now he's back in the news after being punched in the face while attending Trump's inauguration.

Why is the Harper Regime Training Neo-Nazis in Ukraine?

As you know Stephen Harper is leading the charge against the Russians in Ukraine, with his big mouth.

In relentless pursuit of the ethnic vote.

And to try to distract Canadians from all the other enemies he'd rather not face...

David Parkins/Globe and Mail

But if he is posing as a freedom fighter, why is he forcing our military to train neo-Nazis?
