Vladimir Putin's Disgusting Day Of Victory

It would be hard to imagine a more grotesque spectacle. The malignant fascist dwarf Vladimir Putin presiding over Russia's annual Victory Day parade.

And lying like a thief.

Claiming that his mighty army invaded Ukraine because the Ukrainian "Nazis" and their NATO accomplices were planning to invade Russia.

As well as claiming that the Russians are winning

When in fact Putin's Orc army has taken a terrible beating, with tens of thousands of its  soldiers killed or wounded.

Thousands of their tanks and armoured vehicles, or what remains of them, are scattered all over Ukraine.

Russian aircraft are still falling out of the sky.

Their boats are still being sunk.

And to make matters worse the country's reputation has been terminally damaged, with the Russians acting in a bestial manner.

Destroying entire cities and villages for no good reason...

Killing tens thousands of innocent civilians just for the hell of it.

Torturing many of them to death, in an orgy of sadism...

And if all that wasn't horrifying enough, raping women, girls, men, and boys.

Men and boys are among the alleged victims of rape by Russian soldiers in Ukraine, where dozens of cases of sexual violence by the invading forcesare already under investigation, UN and Ukrainian officials said on Tuesday.

The Russians must have believed that if they behaved like animals they could break the fighting spirit of the heroic Ukrainian people.

But how wrong they were.

And how wrong was Putin, who thought that his invasion would make NATO weaker, only to see it become stronger, regain a badly needed sense of purpose.

And have it provide the Ukrainians with more deadly weapons, like this M777 howitzer.

The M777s that we are also sending the Ukrainians, can fire GPS directed shells, at places more than 30 kilometres away, and have them land within a few metres of their targets.

Which along with all the other heavy military equipment they are now getting from NATO countries, should put even more holes in the myth of the Orc army.

And leave Putin looking even more like an idiot, who thought he could conquer Ukraine in just six days.

Or now that is being humiliated, looking even more like a maniac.

One who is always threatening the West with nuclear destruction. This threat from one of his media stooges being the latest.

In a recent article, the writer Michael Harris warned that a red light is flashing all over the world, not just over Ukraine.

And he's right, we could be alive today, and dead tomorrow.

But surrendering to fascist bullies is out of the question.

We didn't do it then, and we can't do it now.

So I found this really encouraging...

For I would be honoured to be considered a friend by the brave Ukrainian people who have had to endure so much at the hands of the Russian fascists, and who I admire so much.

And of course, I am glad that we have leaders like Chrystia Freeland, Melanie Joly, and Justin Trudeau to remind us that decency still matters.

As for the monster Putin, the more weapons the free world can give the Ukrainians, the more he will shrink, along with his Orc army.

So the next Victory Parade will be more like the one he deserves.

For he was a murderous buffoon, who will live in infamy forever.

While the Ukrainians will be remembered forever for their heroic resistance.

And they will win.

Glory to Ukraine, and down with the fascist beasts...

Pootink got humiliated by the heroic Ukrainian people and a brave little puppy. He's looking more and more bloated and sick as the hatred within consumes him. Meanwhile Zelensky looks fit as a fiddle, and of course so does Trudeau. I doubt that the social media trolls making vulgar and libelous accusations that he took Joly on a "date" to a U2 concert were shitposting entirely from Moscow. There are plenty of mouthbreathing morons at home for the Liberals to deal with, but somehow they manage to hold their own.

That really is a nice image of Trudeau raising the Canadian flag at the embassy in Kyiv. What the rig pigs did to the maple banner is disgraceful. But speaking from the USA, especially now as the country sinks into the Republic of Gilead, that image is what many of us down here have always known the Canadian flag to be. A symbol of progressive resistance and true freedom and a rejection of hate. It was a popular accessory for embarrassed Americans during the Vietnam War, as it was during Iraq, and of course the mango menace's Reign of Error.

Pootink and his bloated orange feline have made a dog's breakfast of the "red, white, and blue," but for as long as Canada holds to its values (which means keeping Liberals in office), there is hope to be found in "the maple leaf, forever." It must really boil the cons' gonads to know that Zelensky considers Trudeau a close personal friend. They want Canada to be a backwater red state or Belarus. Now more than ever, they need to be deprived of victory too.

Simon I see this war in a much different light. I am 63 years old and I connect the dots. Operation Highjump was a real thing, you cant say its a conspiracy theory. Something happened at Rosewell you cant say it was a conspiracy theory. JFK was assasinated and the official one shooter platform depends upon a magic bullet. Ronald Reagan traded arms to Iran for things to complicated to ruin this narrative. 911 defies the laws of physics and the three laws of thermal dynamics and we know that despite all the things going on, Saudi Arabia was given a free pass, while Saddamm Hussian if I can be literal took it up the.../
\ Ukraine no one can deny is a very corrupt country, many say more corrupt than Russia. Macron said yesterday it will be decades before Ukranie can join the federation. Ukranie has been trained by the best in the west for 8 years. They alledlyy put firing position and ammunition's in hospitals
and schools just like ISSIS.

Militarily the Russian are fighting as humanly as possible, it is Ukranie that uses civilians as human shield, just like Issis.
Russia is taking huge amounts of territory and Ukranie is offering up huge amounts of cannon fodder and Facebook victory, like the Ghost of Keiyv.
In the end barring Nuclear war you will see I am correct.

Russian only bomb hospitals and schools and no Ukranie soldiers ever die. The result of Ukraines vanity attack on snake island was 60 top soldiers dead, 3 priceless boats, 6 helicopters, 3 jets and over 30 UAV, yet Snake Island stays Russian.

Simon I am not going to post much, but sometimes a one sided view is just too much.

Hi Jackie....There are rumours that Putin is suffering from some kind of abdominal cancer, and early onset Parkinsons. And if he does, he could be taking drugs that could make his face swell up. Or maybe it's botox. But one thing is for sure, Putin and his inner circle need to be watched closely, because they are the Apocalypse Gang. I recently read an article that described some of those people as practically a religious death cult. They are not afraid of been blown up, because they believe that Jesus will save them. Really. And yes, it was great to see Trudeau raising the flag at the embassy. After what the Cons and the trucker terrorists have done to debate the flag, it couldn't be more welcome. The political scene is so crazy these days, I can hardly wait until I can set sail, and get away from it all...

Steve...just the other day you were asking me whether I had ever been bribed by Huawei. Even though I have never taken money from anyone, and never will. I banned you from this blog, but then changed my mind, because I believe you are mentally ill, and deserve another chance. So what do you do? You dump all those deranged conspiracy theories in the comment section, suggesting that Putin is not a fascist, that the Ukrainians are Nazis, and that "...militarily the Russian are fighting as humanly as possible." So now I'm regretting my decision not to banish you, and all I can say is, please get help...

40 more billion in aid coming from Biden will ensure that the war Putin started all on his own will make widows of many thousands more Russian women. By the time this is over, the only thing Putin will have achieved is placing himself on the same level as Hitler and that will be his lasting legacy. No amount of conspiratorial bullshit will change that other than for those who have entirely lost their grips on reality either by mental illness or substance abuse. As Simon said, seek help.
I knew JT would visit his dear friend, Volodymir and the president didn't mince words when he said Canada was 2nd only to the US in providing support to Ukraine. Money well spent and an example for other democracies to do more to help fight and defeat the scourge of the 21st century, Nazi Russia.

Steve - Have you been reading The Saker again?!

Well put, Simon. As many are the criticisms of Western culture, corporate greed, and international muckery of the US, I have, (Iraq was also a war of aggression, supported by left and right in the US) it is beyong question we need to do everything we can to be on the side of Ukraine in their fight against fascism and unbridled aggressive war.

Two issues that should never be conflated.

Only, I must say, after this, with a victorious Ukraine or a nuclear scorched planet, we must dedicate ourselves to clean up our own flawed and corrupt houses, here in the west. Starting with the obliteration of the fascist Cons and bringing equally guilty Americans like GW Bush to the Hague. And dealing seriously with the environmental destruction of our home planet.

Simon said...

Hi JD...The weapons the Ukrainians are receiving are already making a difference. The Ukrainian army has apparently launched a counter offensive and has regained some of the land it recently lost to the Orc army. It seems the fascist Putin has bitten off more than he could swallow, and instead of making Russia great again, he's made it look like a cowardly bully. And made its soldiers look like Nazis. I feel sorry for Steve, but I simply can't have him recycling Nazi propaganda on my blog. As for our homegrown would be Nazis, I'm enjoying how Trudeau's visit to Ukraine has shut them up. I only wish Candy Bergen would dress up in a Russian uniform and head for the front for that would be hilarious, especially if Poilievre or one of the hairy honkers went with her. I know I shouldn't be joking about something so serious, but honestly the Cons are so bad and so hopelessly mediocre, I can't help but laugh...

Simon said...

Hi UU....I must admit I had never heard of The Saker, so I looked it up, and needless to say I was horrified.

https://thesaker.is/we-will-win/

There are Nazis on the left and on the right, in Washington, London, Paris and Berlin, let alone in Warsaw and Prague and among their hireling academics and journalists. Most of these people are like teenage rebels, who refusing to obey their parents, reject Russian righteousness, just for the sake of their rebellion.

The media affirm that the special operation in the Ukraine, which they call ‘a war’ or ‘an invasion’, was unprovoked. It was not: it was preceded by eight years of the Kiev regime genocide of Russians, a host of provocations of a purely Nazi nature and even a threat to go nuclear.

But at least now I understand where Steve was coming from. We won't be hearing from him ever again, but I'll always feel sorry for him. He allowed the fascists to brainwash him, he lost his moral compass, and now he wanders through a wasteland of his own creation, and is too lost for anyone to help him. Sad...

Hi Brian....I must admit I find it hard to write about what's happening in Ukraine. But I know I can't ignore it. I had the same reaction to the war in Iraq, when watching the U.S. shock and awe deadly fireworks show made me feel like vomiting. I just hope that the heroic Ukrainian resistance can force Putin to the negotiating table, so the war can be stopped before it gets any worse, and even more dangerous. When as you point out, the only war we should be fighting is the war against climate change, and the climate change denying Cons who would torch our planet in the name of Big Oil. The way the Cons have been using the war in Ukraine to demand that more pipelines be built is outrageous, and another reason I want the war to end as soon as possible. We can't save the Europeans from their dumb energy mistakes, we just have to make sure we don't make any more mistakes ourselves...

Putin has been suffering or dying from something since 2000. It is just the diagnosis that changes once in awhile.

Simon it is ironic when someone does not do the echo chamber you behave like Putin.

Putin’s excuses for invading Ukraine are eerily similar to GWB who saw weapons of mass destruction and undemocratic thugs who were begging to be eradicated. In Putin's view the destruction of Ukraine can take two forms a) a quick win and install a "freely elected" puppet government or b) create a failed state with deeply divided warring factions and strongmen to ensure the chaos continues. Seems the quick win is off the table so a protracted destruction of any semblance of social order is likely the backup plan. The formula is simple, propaganda is the weapon. Find a fault line in society and drive the middle towards the extreme sides creating a canyon in the middle forcing civil structures such as the police, army, courts into one camp or the other. The more camps the more strongmen the greater the destruction. Although all propaganda can contain varying degrees of fiction the image of a unified democratic country fighting for its existence against a powerful aggressor is the image that Putin has to destroy in order to win. We do not necessarily have to believe all of the news but our unwavering support for the Ukrainian people helps to keep them unified and fight on for justice rather than letting Putin tick the failed state box and move on to the next victim. Perhaps there was a time for bothsidesism but that ended when Putin started killing Ukrainians in their homeland.

Oh how nice, comrade. Simon lets you spew your often times nonsense for years and this is how you thank him? By insulting him? Sad. The only echo chamber going on here is in your head. Here's a going away present for you to wile away the lonely days ahead.

Hi jrkrideau....I did say that the rumours about Putin's declining health were just that, rumours. And I know you normally can't diagnose people from the way they look. But in the medical gossip circle it's a topic du jour, so I pass it on for what it's worth...

Simon said...

Hi Steve....Well that's rather rude of you. I was not aware that I was running an echo chamber. The only comments I delete are those that are racist, or sexist, or the many homophobic comments directed at me and others. So having you accuse me of deliberately running an echo chamber is not just not true, it's offensive. I gave you a chance to tone down your remarks, but since you are becoming worse rather than better, I will now delete your comments on arrival. At a time like this one, I really don't need readers who regularly insult me...

Simon said...

Hi RT...Yes, I too have been reminded of the Iraq war, by the brutal invasion of Ukraine. The Russian government's claim that Ukraine was harbouring nuclear weapons, and planning to attack Russia couldn't make that any clearer. And there is the added insanity of having the Russians declare that the Ukrainians are their "brothers" even as they attack them so brutally. The Americans and the British got off far too easily, but after seeing the damage their fake stories caused the whole world, the Russians must be held accountable, or this war could go on forever. At a time like this one, with so many other challenges, it really is the last thing we need....

Simon said...

Hi JD... Thanks for coming to my defence. I find it hard to get angry with Steve, because I think he has some issues, and the pandemic and the war have only made them worse, as they have for many Canadians. But I find his increasingly hostile tone towards me deeply disturbing and I need that like I need a hole in the head. I enjoy answering comments from readers, but Steve has always been a challenge, and one I can do without. As for those pictures of Putin, what bothers me the most is that they show him to be a religious fanatic. His father tried to raise him to be a good communist, but his mother tried to raise him to be a devout Christian, and I think that's a large part of his problem. The religious right is on the move everywhere, and we need to stop them before they make the world even crazier...

Hi Simon,
You're welcome. I must say you are a much more tolerant person than I am. However, everyone has a breaking point and I almost reached mine as of late. My first day back at my seasonal job and I had to deal with what is best described as a convoy type, bearded, tattooed moron who clearly had issues and who didn't like the rules of my site. He waited until he was a distance from me and then started lipping off as he broke the rules, called me names and dared me to call police. I told him I didn't have to put up with his verbal abuse but then asked myself, is this douche bag really worth the paperwork? On my first day back? Fuck no! I ignored him, got his vehicle info and let his tantrum run out and haven't seen him since. I call it Cryin' Cletus Psychology 101 and it worked. Now if he were to come back, I would expect an apology and a following of the rules or 911 will be called. Something similar may work with Steve if he ever gets his head out of Putin's ass so who knows.

Hi JD....I'm sorry you had to put up with that convoy moron. It seems that they are everywhere these days. But you handled the situation well, for not only are some of them really rude, some of them can be dangerous. Hospital emergency rooms are having to deal with record numbers of those zombies, so if you get anymore nonsense stay cool and call the police...

HI Simon, first off, my sympathies for having to deal with convoy clowns. Mockery is my tonic but there are still times I need to step back take walk for the good of my sanity. I did want to say that though it may take some time, this conflict is ultimately unwinnable for Russia. When it comes to fighting offensive wars outside their own border Russia's military history is quite simply ridiculously horrible. Plus as I'm sure you know, when you a shitty leader (as he hasn't done much of anything to raise living standards for his people in the past 20 years, as far as I can tell) its always easier to deflect by playing the nationalist card and invent an enemy to draw attention away from your failings.
