It will be his birthday soon. One year since since he became Con leader and began his crusade to become Prime Minister.
After a Con leadership race marred by the lack of decent candidates, allegations of massive corruption, including claims that a small army of "fake conservatives" came stumbling out to vote for him, and then disappeared like zombies.
So you'd think that Andrew Scheer would be happy to have survived that leadership race, and still be Con leader. Or at least happy he hasn't yet been charged with electoral fraud.
But he's not. And it's probably NOT going to be a happy birthday...
It was like a ghostly religious apparition. Not exactly the Blessed Virgin of Calgary (that's Jason Kenney.)
But very definitely Stephen Harper, making a rare appearance in the House of Commons to vote on a Con motion.
Not in his capacity as a failed Great Economist Leader, or the evil puppet master who is still pulling Rona Ambrose's strings.
But as the one who liked to pose as the Con cult's Jesus Harper.
Stephen Harper likes to call himself a Christian, and some of his supporters have been known to call him Jesus Harper.
But both claims couldn't be more absurd or more blasphemous.
Harper is too evil to be a Christian. It is just an act designed to appeal to his monstrous satanic base.
And now it seems that his hollow instrument, the so-called Office of Religious Freedom, is about to be destroyed.
It looked like a scene in that sordid B-movie, The Rise and Fall of Jesus Harper.
The one where the Oily Messiah takes a fishy deficit and miraculously turns it into a tiny surplus.
Stephen Harper seemed to have some extra spring in his step Monday after struggling on a variety of fronts in what has been a tough campaign so far.
The reason? News that the government posted a surprise $1.9-billion surplus in 2014-15 — bringing the country’s books back into balance a year earlier than expected.
Only to have it revealed that he is no Jesus, and it was no miracle.
