As you know Rona Ambrose likes to pretend she's a doctor, a nurse, a Health Minister, and a Justice Minister.
And has extreme views on marijuana and Justin Trudeau.
So I'm glad to see that the Canadian Medical Association has taken some time to correct her mindless ravings about the Killer Weed.
And made her look like a dangerous quack or a maniac.
It was just a small story but it really bothered me. And it made me fear for this country's future.
For just like I can't stand the way the brutish Harperite cult treats our veterans.
I cannot countenance living in a Canada where our seniors are treated like this.
For that's not just an assault on the health of old people, it's an assault on their dignity. It makes you wonder how many others are being treated that way.
And what I fear the most is that it's just a harbinger of worse things to come.
He's been slowly killing medicare in his usual creepy stealthy way. Nibble nibble, gnaw, gnaw.
Killing it with neglect, and preparing to bleed it dry.
So most of it can be privatized, just like the Cons in Britain are doing to that country's National Health Service. The magnificent system that inspired our own.
And most dangerously of all he has done absolutely nothing to help prepare our health system for the increasing influx of aging baby boomers.
And is setting the stage for an absolute nightmare of unnecessary human suffering.
So I'm really glad to see that the new president of the Canadian Medical Association is finally taking aim at Stephen Harper's criminally irresponsible inaction.
