As I'm sure you know, Donald Trump is at war with the FBI, in a desperate attempt to save himself from Robert Mueller.
And although it's a war he cannot win.
President Trump entered office last year as a singular figure. But he has come to resemble two of his predecessors in one crucial respect. Though he’s more paranoid than Richard Nixon and more mendacious than Bill Clinton, he seems bent on following them down a road to hell: a confrontation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Like them, he’ll lose.
There's a widespread feeling that we're in great danger.
And with good reason.
As we all know, Donald Trump is now posing as a pious man, instead of a grubby pervert.
A man who now prefers to read the Bible instead of Hitler's speeches.
But still, this tweet late yesterday seemed to come out of nowhere.
And it couldn't be more disturbing.
In one of my last posts I asked the following question: Is Donald Trump Now Too Mentally Disturbed To Remain In Office?
And I concluded that he definitely was.
So I'm glad to see that the Republican Senator Bob Corker sort of agrees with me.
And that he not only believes that the White House has become an "adult daycare centre."
Well now we know that Donald Trump's verbal blast at North Korea was totally improvised.
President Trump’s aides knew he planned to deliver a tough message to North Korea on Tuesday, but they did not expect a threat that rivaled the apocalyptic taunts often used by his target, Kim Jong-un.
And now we know how the North Koreans are reacting.
North Korea has announced a detailed plan to launch a salvo of ballistic missiles toward the U.S. Pacific territory of Guam, a major military hub and home to U.S. bombers.
It seems that this warning may have come at least six months too late.
Almost four years ago Donald Trump tweeted this:
And yesterday he did his best to turn that into a self fulfilling prophesy.
