Pierre Poilievre has made a lot of kooky really bad videos, but the one he made the other day in his limousine as he glided down the highway had to be one of the worst.
It was yet another Trudeau hate video, but it was so ridiculous he looked like the deposed dictator of a banana republic, in his getaway car, heading for the airport as quickly as possible. While seeming to choke in his own farts.
But then of course he's desperate.
He was hoping that the report of the Emergencies Act Inquiry would condemn Justin Trudeau for messing with his convoy buddies.
But that didn't happen,
On the contrary, Trudeau emerged as the big winner, who did the right and necessary thing to save our country from the monstrous hairy honkers.
While Doug Ford was skewered for failing to do anything to help the people of Ottawa.
As only a Con coward could.
But the biggest loser of all was Pierre Poilievre.
For who can forget the way Poilievre greeted the so-called Freedom Convoy as it began its invasion of Ottawa, waving his arms around and screaming with excitement, like a dizzy cheerleader?
Who can forget the way he bought them coffee and donuts? And by so doing encouraged the far- right kooks who dreamed of toppling the Trudeau government, by force if necessary?
While claiming that the hairy honkers were mostly good people, who just wanted an end to Justin Trudeau's "unfair and unscientific vaccine mandates."
When in fact he couldn't have been more wrong.
The mandates were scientific and saved millions of lives, the so-called Freedom Convoy was a potentially dangerous domestic terrorist movement.
People in Ottawa-Gatineau mostly told the Ottawa People's Commission that last year's self-described "Freedom Convoy brought widespread human rights abuses to people in the city's downtown, according to a new report.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, Poilievre will sooner or later have to explain why his convoy thugs received so much support from right-wing Americans.
As well as so much support from the Russians.

SouthFront and Global Research both produced ongoing coverage of the “Freedom Convoy” that often included disinformation and inflammatory rhetoric, as well as repeated calls for Trudeau to step down.
For by sharing those objectives, and using the same tactics to try to divide Canadians, Poilievre is clearly guilty of at the very least flirting with treason.
And that is yet another reason him and his Cons can never be trusted to govern this country.
While this short message sums up the true horror of Pierre Poilievre...
For it shows how low him and his Convoy Cons are prepared to go to destroy this country and its values.
As well as showing us once again why that grubby little man must never be Prime Minister.
And why no decent person in this country will be safe until the day he is sent to the place where he truly belongs...

But as a liberal who gave his heart and soul to try and elect liberal mps in Quebec who couldn't win against the bloc Québécois to no aveil, there is a statement where Trudeau has been really unconvincing with everything that happened, whether it's Roxham road issue, the Elghawaby issue, refusing francophone immigrants by the ministry of immigration, having to deal with a english unilingual governor general in New Brunswick as for dealing with montreal mps whom were also unconvincing with there sayings on anglophone rights when Mario Beaulieu and the quebec medias sure had the last laugh on almost everything with how they elaborated everything so well and easily pulling a wedge between Quebec and ROC regarding how these lasts have never read a single page about Quebec society. You see, if Poilievre wins, or worse wins a second majority, i will be saying what Justin Trudeau would say which is to contribute to make Quebec a country. This is how the convoy got going in the first place is with lies and contrived, engineered smear campaigns from the Cons and their incestuous media and pollster buddies. Now they're determined to flush it down the memory hole and go balls-deep in the narrative that the Liberals are corrupt, the Liberals are out of touch, the Liberals are tired and the Liberals lack empathy! Though there are many things I like of what came out of the report, mainly holding Don Doug Ford-leone's feet to the fire for his utter failure in helping Ottawa, there still remains the one glaring omission. Mr. Rouleau failed miserably by not calling out the PP Cons for their role in supporting, emboldening and being oh so cosy with the domestic hair-rorists. Specifically the PP and Candy the cougar(but her emails). Why in the fuck not!!!!???? Is he afraid of the domestic terrorists? He sure was quick to slam JT for hurting their widdle feelings but for the Cons? Crickets. Unbe-fucking-lievable!!!! One would have had to be living under a rock for the past ten years to not see how close the Cons are to the far right assholes who are hell-bent on destroying our country. Rouleau could have and should have, at the very least, specifically called out the human trash that run the rebel, canada proud, "true" north etc. They are the driving force in what's dividing this country and lest we forget their favorite footsie players, PP and his Cons who are equally responsible for the never ending garbage coming from the far right vomitorium.
So now the onus is on JT to fill in the blanks where Mr. Rouleau failed to do so. He needs to form a bipartisan group of respected individuals as an inquiry or commission to investigate who and what are behind the cesspool that is far right social media. Rouleau said himself that social media had a big role in the clownvoy so let's use that as the reasoning to launch this inquiry/commission. I'll hazard a guess and say the resulting conclusion of the inquiry will not be good for the Cons and their far right BFFs.
This has to be done immediately because the media has proven itself useless in strongly calling out their Con buddies and Mr. Rouleau decided to whistle past the graveyard instead of calling a spade a spade. The longer we wait, the more gullible or just plain stupid people will get sucked into the Cons raging universe and another vote lost for the left.

But the pandemic took a lot out of us all, and I don't think things are as bad as they seem. The Liberal government is under assault from a far-right conspiracy the likes of which this country has never seen before. Poilievre and his kooks are trying to make us feel that Canada is broken and take us down a dark road to fascism. But if we unite and focus on the Con enemy, I haven't the slightest doubt that we will prevail. and the small minded bigots will get nowhere. The Fifer and the other Con stooges are trying to smear Justin Trudeau as a Chinese stooge, when if they were real journalists they should be looking at the support Poilievre and his Convoy groupies got from the Russians. Hi JD....I agree with you. I thought Rouleau produced a fine report in a very short time, but it was in my opinion incomplete. The biggest story in this country and others is the rise of the far-right, and considering how the Cons cuddled the Convoy fascists, they should have been called to testify. And they cannot be allowed to dodge responsibility for their crude attempt to support those who wanted to take down a Canadians government, only a few months after it was re-elected. Poilievre is clearly taking a page from Steve Bannon who famously once said that his fascists should "flood the zone with shit," and that it wasn't about persuasion it was about disorientation. To counter that our side has to pick its targets carefully, and cut through the clutter to get our message across. At the present time a lot of people are still shaking off the effects of the pandemic. But long before the next election that brain fog should lift, the ratty Poilievre will be exposed for what he really is, and will have nowhere to run to. We need to become a lot more aggressive, and with Poilievre as Con leader that should be easy...

The funny thing about the CSIS leak story is that there was no moment in the last election where the Cons were knocked on their ass by some revelation from social media (unlike say a story in the NYT about an investigation over a server two weeks before the election.) Pierre D is probably correct about the China interference issue not going for very long. As he states there has not really been any new information since the story first broke last Friday. They are rehashing old news and trying to connect the dots between it and the Trudeau Foundation. Just like they tried to connect WE to every member of Justin Trudeau's family, including the family dog.
As well, I noticed today that some Sun columnists are already claiming that it was not just Chinese interference it was the Liberals conspiring with the Chinese in the last two elections.
The issue has been in the news for less than a week and they are already having to resort to hyperbole to keep the story going. The use of hyperbole is usually saved for the end of any "scandal" as a tactic to try to squeeze just a little more mileage out of it before people move on.
Hi Pierre...I'm usually at least as optimistic as you are, but I have never seen a media onslaught as big as the one I am witnessing, and for no good reason. The whole story doesn't make sense, judging from what China obtained from the Cons (FIPA deal etc.) the Chinese should have been rooting for the Harper Party. And the idea that they favoured the Liberals, but wanted them only to win a minority, is right out of Alice in Wonderland. And when you combine that with the real possibility that there is at least one CSIS mole I can't help wondering were the ghastly Cons and their bought media are taking this country. Hi Dan....I agree with you, there was no evidence of any voting irregularities. And if the Cons lost the election it was because of their own incompetence, and the poor quality of their candidates. Scheer and O'Toole were clearly unfit to be even hope of being elected Prime Minister, and Canadians need to remember that, and not fall for the media hysteria which seems aimed at holding yet another election before Poilievre shows most Canadians his true colours.
