Yesterday I wondered why Andrew Scheer hadn't condemned his yellow vested supporters for calling Justin Trudeau a traitor, and threatening to kill him.
But I forgot how much Scheer hates Trudeau, and how excited he was at the thought of joining a massive truck convoy and driving all the way from Alberta to Ottawa, to let him know how much others hated him.
Because trust me, he was practically giddy with excitement.
And I mean giddy...
In my last post I looked at the way Canada's yellow vest movement has been taken over by alt-right extremists, and how many of them are calling Justin Trudeau a traitor.
And some are even demanding that he be executed.
And I noticed that wherever there are signs accusing Trudeau of treason, there are also signs denouncing the United Nation's Global Compact for Migration, claiming it would erase our borders.
And since the two are clearly related, and that claim is false, I wondered why Andrew Scheer was encouraging those extremists.
We are told that we shouldn't judge them too harshly. That they are just the Canadian, or the Alberta version, of the yellow vests in France.
But their crude signs send out one ugly message after the other. Bigotry is good, the U.N. is bad, immigrants are a menace, Justin Trudeau is a traitor.
All over the internet these yellow bellies bellow and howl for him to be tried or hanged for treason.
For more than two years I have been fighting the toxic Trudeau haters, and their murderous messages.
They include the bigot Cons, the human scum at the Rebel, some dirty old men in our own blogosphere.
And more recently the so-called Yellow Vests, or as I like to call them, the cowardly yellow bellies.
For they have taken toxic Trudeau hate to a whole new level.
