Pierre Poilievre and the Horror of Belleville

From the moment he became Con leader I warned that Pierre Poilievre would take this country to a very dark place.

And sure enough he wasted no time attacking Justin Trudeau like a rabid hyena, trying to smear him into submission, by blaming him for everything from the economy to the weather.

It was ugly, it was threatening, but Trudeau isn't easily intimidated, so like the Wicked Witch of the West, Poilievre summoned up his flying monkeys, and watched silently as they went after Trudeau in the Ontario town of Belleville.

How Pierre Poilievre's Makeover Failed So Miserably

It has been more than a week since Pierre Poilievre finally realized he had to soften his image or give up any hope of ever being Prime Minister.

So he gave himself a waxy looking makeover, and tried to fool us into believing that he's really a nice guy.

But sadly for him that makeover has been an absolute disaster.

And even dressing up in cowboy drag didn't help

The Macabre Makeover of Pierre Poilievre

Pierre Poilievre has always enjoyed being a bully, so it's not surprising that he should enjoy looking like one.

With his cruel eyes staring out from behind his small town bank manager glasses, searching for the man he hates above all things, the decent Justin Trudeau.

For a while the glasses helped make him look like he knew what he was talking about, and he must have thought he could fool enough people to make him Prime Minister.

Until it all fell apart.
