For most of the last 48 hours since he heard about the monstrous massacre in Christchurch, Justin Trudeau managed to hold his true feelings in check.
He was quiet and gentle as he visited a mosque to express his solidarity with the Muslim community, and listen to what young people had to say about building a safer and more inclusive society.
But yesterday in the House of Commons he finally let his true feelings show.
Fraser Anning is an Australian Senator and an avowed bigot.
He has railed against women's rights and gay rights, and other progressive causes. But he saves most of his venom for Muslims.
He has called for Australia to prevent them from entering the country, as part of what he calls the "final solution" to the "immigration problem.
And if that wasn't appalling enough his reaction to the Christchurch massacre was even more depraved.
If the situation hadn't been so tragic it would have been hilarious. Although I'm sure Andrew Scheer wasn't laughing, just keeping a very low profile.
For yesterday had to be one of his most humiliating days ever.
First he was revealed to be a religious fanatic and a bigot. Again.
And then he was made to look like a weakling AND a monstrous Con clown.
It's a sickening act of terrorist violence that has shocked the world.

Slaughtered while they prayed, just because they were were Muslims.
But don't tell Andrew Scheer that, because he couldn't even bring himself to use the word Muslim.
