In just three weeks Andrew Scheer, who is leading in the polls, could become the new Prime Minister of Canada.
And we still know so little about who he really is, and what he might do to our country.
But now an article in the Globe has cast a little more light into the shadows, and what we now know should terrify every decent Canadian.
Ever since Andrew Scheer began driving his Con cult down the Far Right Road, I've always thought that his obsessive virulent hatred for Justin Trudeau would take this country to a very dark place.
Where Canada would look a lot like Trump's America, and our precious values wouldn't stand a chance.
And sure enough, with only weeks to go before the election, Scheer's angry Cons are howling at the moon, and looking and sounding more deranged and more dangerous than ever.
Like these yellow vested goons waiting for Trudeau in Barrie, Ontario...
As you know, I had high hopes that this story would finally expose Andrew Scheer as a nasty and dangerous religious bigot.
So I was very disappointed when no other member of our shabby Con media asked Scheer a single question about it.
For them it seems the fake scandal of Justin Trudeau dressed up as Aladdin, is more scandalous than Scheer agreeing that LGBT Canadians should be jailed.
But that's OK, I'm not giving up, and I did at least find something to celebrate.
As you know, I have been trying for months to get the MSM to write about the relationship between Andrew Scheer and the former Alliance MP Larry Spencer, a man so homophobic he wanted to jail gay people.
I wrote one post after the other, I tweeted again and again. But nobody believed me or gave me the time of day.
I was getting ready to head out to Saskatchewan to try to track down Spencer, if he was still alive.
When it finally happened.
The Con media were so sure their latest fake scandal would be the end of Justin Trudeau.
They couldn't stop writing or squawking about it. It was pouring out of their every orifice.
But now suddenly they have fallen silent, and the reason is only too obvious.
For a few days you couldn't read a newspaper, or watch a TV news program without seeing this picture of Justin Trudeau dressed up as Aladdin.
As one member of the Con media after the other tried to smear Trudeau as a racist. And some like the Con hack David Akin even suggested he should resign.
But now the first serious polls are in and we are starting to get an idea of what ordinary Canadians thought of this biased onslaught.
And the Cons, and their stooge media must be really disappointed.
This is a picture of Greta Thunberg, the young Swedish activist, beginning her campaign for stronger action to fight climate change in August 2018.
Back then she was alone.
But that didn't last long.
Because now she's the face of climate change.
Justina McCaffrey is the Con candidate in Kanata, a large suburb of Ottawa.
And if you think she looks familiar, you're not wrong.
For she recently got into trouble for being a really good friend of the white nationalist bigot Faith Goldy.
It's been about a year since I first started writing about Andrew Scheer's relationship with the Alliance MP Larry Spencer, a man so homophobic he wanted to jail LGBT Canadians.
It hasn't been easy trying to find out what Scheer did when he was Spencer's constituency secretary. Documents have disappeared, and most of what remains has been scrubbed squeaky clean by unseen hands.
And what was just as frustrating, and at times even more depressing, was that hardly anybody seemed to care.
But now that seems to be changing, at least judging by the reaction to this tweet.
I watched Justin Trudeau's town hall in Saskatoon last night, and I have never been more impressed with our prime minister.
Not just because of the brilliant way he handled the questions from the more than 600 people in the auditorium.
But also because he's still looking good, or still alive, after the grotesque onslaught from our grubby Con media.
Which included this outrageous suggestion that he should resign from the Con hack David Akin.
