I've always been curious about who exactly funds Ezra Levant's grotesque hate mongering site The Rebel.
Because as you know the grubby Rebel Commander spends at least half his time begging for money.
And since I've always had trouble believing that his depraved but tiny core readership could support Levant, his gang of bigots, and their increasingly extravagant lifestyle.
Or that the site's cheap ads or cheap swag could possibly pay the bills.
Like the blogger Balbulican at Dr Dawg's blog, I too wondered who is paying for this garbage?

As Justin Trudeau prepares to leave for Washington, I think it's safe to say that the Globe is probably right, for once.
It almost certainly will be a media circus.
What with so many Americans curious about our cool new prime minister, or madly in love with him.
And no doubt his interview with the CBS newsmagazine 60 Minutes.
Will guarantee him an even warmer welcome.
Anyone who has watched the American media's coverage of the race to the White House knows that it is grossly unbalanced.
And that Donald Trump gets more coverage, and free publicity, than any of his Republican or Democratic opponents.
But that's not the only way the media has favoured Trump.
It was depending upon your point of view, either a ghastly gaffe, or a fascist moment.
Donald Trump in Orlando yesterday, leading his followers in a solemn pledge to vote for him in the upcoming Florida primary.
Only to make the gathering look like a Nazi rally.
And play into the hands of people like Bill Maher, who believes that Trump could be a budding American Hitler.
In my last post I told you how disgusted I was by Donald Trump's depraved obsession with the size of his hands.
And the size of his genitals.
And how I feared that if he ever became President, he might come after me...
I wasn't able to watch the last Republican debate because I don't get Fox at my place.
Which turned out to be just as well.
Because the last thing I would have wanted to see is Donald Trump defending the size of his hands and his...um...penis.
"Look at those hands. Are these small hands? And … if they're small, something else must be small. I guarantee you there's no problem," Trump said, showing his hands to the audience, assuring them that his hands were normal-sized, as was his "something else."
And so soon after he said this...
Well it was a brave attempt. Get the Premiers together in one room to talk about climate change.
But when the meeting was over there was little to celebrate.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the provincial premiers emerged from their meeting in Vancouver to say they are working toward a national climate change plan that includes an agreement in principle for a carbon-pricing mechanism — although they did not offer specifics on how it would work.
And the main reason there wasn't was because Brad Wall, the oil pimp from Saskatchewan, led the charge to make sure there was nothing resembling a national carbon tax.
Next week Justin Trudeau will set off on a three-day visit to Washington, which will include a glittering state dinner at the White House.
The first for a Canadian Prime Minister in almost twenty years.
And while he will discuss plans with Obama for a continental climate change strategy.
Justin is already making it clear that there is something or someone he WON'T be talking about.
If you have ever seen the musical or the movie The Producers, you know it's about two Broadway producers who make a terrible mistake.
They decide they can make more money by putting on a really bad show rather than a good one.
So they create one called Springtime for Hitler, which they believe will be a sure-fire flop. Only to see it turn into a roaring success, and ruin them.
Well now that we know that the Trump family's original name was Drumpf.
And that he is a raving fascist, here's a different take on that show.
As you know Stephen Harper has been missing in action from the day he was defeated.
One day he is sighted in Las Vegas, the next day he's in Florida...
But he's hardly ever spotted in the House of Commons.
And now at last somebody in the MSM has noticed his absence.
