Andrew Scheer And My Wonderful Humiliation Party
In my last post I looked at how Andrew Scheer is cracking up with less than a month to go before he is given the bum's rush as Con leader.
And how desperate he is to try to force Justin Trudeau to resign before he does.
But if you thought that was just another sign that Scheer is losing his marbles, and that his party would be able to calm him down even if they had to use a tranquilizer dart, forget it.
For today the poor loser was back, sounding even crazier.
And demanding that Bill Morneau should also resign!!!
Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer said today that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Finance Minister Bill Morneau need to "step aside for the good of the country" over the WE Charity scandal.
Speaking to reporters in Regina, Sask., Scheer said their departures would "allow the government to move past these scandals" and would "improve the lives of Canadians."
Can you believe that? That lousy bigot wants the two leaders who have done more than any others to save this country to resign.
But is too much of a coward to bring down the government.
I wonder why...
You know, I don't think I have to defend Justin Trudeau. His inspired leadership speaks for itself, and Canadians have seen enough of him in action to give him full credit.
But Bill Morneau on the other hand, hasn't got the credit he deserves, even though he has overseen the biggest financial rescue package this country has ever seen.
Even though he has rushed out help to millions of Canadians, and has made our economy a powerhouse, that even Covid hasn't been able to dent.
S&P Global Ratings has reaffirmed Canada's AAA credit rating despite the rising cost of navigating the economy through the COVID-19 pandemic. In its latest report, S&P said it expects the Canadian economy will recover next year after an unprecedented amount of fiscal and monetary measures were deployed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
But still Scheer would have him and Trudeau step aside in the middle of a pandemic?
Asked if it would be prudent for Trudeau and Morneau to resign while the country is in the grips of a pandemic, Scheer said their departures might actually improve the COVID-19 response because of what he called problems with the programs Ottawa has enacted to deal with the pandemic's social and economic effects.
He said if the two men won't go on their own, Liberal backbenchers should stage a caucus revolt to force them out.
Is that insane or what?
And is that not the mind of a diseased religious fanatic and/or fascist?
The mind of a dirty low Con who should have resigned long ago.
You know when the Ugly American finally gets the bum's rush at the end of August, I'm going to organize a special Humiliation Party in his honour.
Where we get to make fun of him for DAYS...
Until at last he finally swims in his own excrement, and screams like a baby.
Which will be like music to my ears.
For Scheer is an evil man, who tried to poison this country.
So it's only poetic justice, that he should end up poisoning himself...
Andrew Scheer is a feckless putz who has no confidence in himself. He's a coward who seriously thinks he can get the Liberals to do his dirty work for him. This is all thanks to John Ivison playing like Jacob Wohl and inventing "anonymous Liberal sources" at the hipster coffee shop who are supposedly livid with Trudeau. You know, those rookie backbenchers John Barron and David Dennison? Or is it Mike Rotch and Amanda Hugginkiss?
ReplyDeleteAs for the polling, that's an old one from Innovative Research, but the latest from them isn't showing much change either. Still Liberal majority. And a deeper dive into the questionnaire seems to hint at voters disliking the chaotic dysfunction of minority government and wanting some stability. Sucks for the PropRep cultists who won't let go of the stale grudge about electoral reform.
Frank's newest is out as well. The toplines look weird considering his earlier remarks, but he explains further why the regionals have the Liberals back at majority levels too. It all amounts to vote efficiency (recall that they're only down 13 seats right now even having received 33% of the vote), and the Cons racking up useless dictator-level numbers packed into 'Berta and Saskytoba again. The TruGrits took an outrage punch that left a bruise but is already starting to heal up. Glory, glory hole-lellujah.

Not sure if you read the Star article about Trudeau clearing the air. Weak Andy and the rapey cokehead biker bro Yves Blank-Cheque's bluffs are pointless, but I say let them call an election and we'll have a cross-border party kicking out Trump, Scheer, and either MacToole or O'Kay. Trudeau is going to stand his ground just like Hillary Clinton did at Benghazi, because the facts are on his side. I couldn't be prouder of him for facing the haters so bravely and I bet Margaret is too. Those savages have no goddamn business going after his mother. I already had a visceral disgust with the NDP being Trump-orange Cons, but this just permanently cements it. They've gone full Bernie bro. You never go full Bernie bro. And you never! go! after! anybody's! MAMA!
By the way, Simon: I look forward to joining Scheer's humiliation party. My actual birthday is on February 29th, but every year (even in leap years, like this one, which I didn't get to really "celebrate" because my mother had Covid) I celebrate it in late August. So on August 22nd I'm going to blow out thirty-six candles (or nine) and make a wish that Scheer fades off into misery and obscurity, and Justin Trudeau gets the walloping majority government he deserves after all this crap he's had to deal with.
Here's a long distance dedication for Andrew Scheer, by the aptly named band, SCANDAL! "Goodbye to You"!

The We scandal is a real scandals unlike SNC Lavlin which was a total invention.
ReplyDeleteHowever as scandals go its pretty small beans.
Lots of people love We, we has inspired millions of people around the world, and is a motivating force for good. That Justin and Bill had a little blindspot here is not reason for severe remorse. They did drop the ball on this, it would be a ping pong ball compared to the moon sized one they have carried on their shoulders better than any other goverment in the world.
Agree in part Steve, but you should read what the Republicans did to Hillary Clinton fomenting the conspiracy theory about her family's charity appeals and speaking engagements. It's the same playbook. The New York Times and "progressive" outlets fell for it, which is the real scandal: the complicity of the lying press in smearing a good family.

As an aside, with regards to above mentioned polling, that touted poll from EKOS still has the Liberals at 170 seats, with some weird regionals to be taken with a hefty heaping of salt. I hope next week's Leger shows clearer and better results.
Simon, I apologize for spamming the thread, but I hope you'll permit me a shameless plug. I did a write-up on what I feel is a really dangerous and ugly secondary narrative about WeGhazi being circulated on the Con social media outlets, and why it is so dangerous. It ties in with Scheer's trademark tactic of smearing his opponents as pederasts and it's being fed by the mainstream Con media that won't let go of this.
ReplyDeleteI think Scheer is so enraged by his loss to Trudeau that his gambit is to destroy the entire Trudeau family and amplify that same vulgar smear that he fanned the flames of during the campaign. He's well aware of all the useful idiots aiding and abetting him with their toxic rhetoric and that they don't care as much about an assassination attempt as they do about the scandal of the week. On TV and in the papers all you see is the familiar narrative of "Liberal corruption" and now bringing down the government over it, which is enough to get swing-voters upset. But on social media, where the violent base gets riled up, the entire focus is on WE being a "cult" and Trudeau wanting to have access to kids. I linked the video where he says Trudeau benefits by having a platform to address students. He knows damn well what he's dog-whistling and to whom.
I believe this WE thing is part of a QAnon setup that popped up in March when Sophie got sick, and with QAnon now working its way into national legislatures (Rempel made a hand sign referencing it in one of her videos, while QAnon believers have been elected to the U.S. Congress) I think there's a lot more at work here than just the tired narrative about Adscam and golf balls. This is something new and very disturbing being amplified by the likes of Jeff's troll farms and it poses a threat to Justin Trudeau and his family, his mom in particular. It's mostly tangential at this point but I feel there's reason to believe that QAnon has either infiltrated, or is being cynically used, by the CPC.
I'm not so sure Justin Trudeau would even want to stick around if he knew about all of this and once he sees how it threatens to engulf his family. I think this is a witch hunt aimed at pushing him out by exposing his family to public venom and sowing division in the Liberal ranks. If not far worse. I listened to Michael Wernick's interview with David Cochrane. I can't wait for Scheer to go away but I legitimately fear for Justin Trudeau's life and what the crackpot cons are doing to Canada. This isn't normal politicking. God preserve him.
Hi Jackie...I’m sorry to hear that your mother had Covid, I hope that worked out OK. But we’ll celebrate your birthday in August and hope it will be the first of many celebrations that will ring in a new beginning. And thank you for that song, I shall cue it up in the jukebox along with my choices, and ask other readers to contribute their choices. I am also going to make a video with some of the many photoshops I made of Scheer, and I recently found my sound track of pig sounds, so at the very least it should sound good...🐷🐷🐷🐷
ReplyDeleteHi Steve....I strongly disagree. None of the fake scandals have been real scandals. The first ruling by the Ethics Commissioner was a farce because it claimed the Aga Khan was not a family friend which was absurd. The SNC as we all know was just a smear job created by our dirty bought media. And the WE “scandal” is even worse. Trudeau chose that organization after the civil service decided it was the best organization to get money to young people in a hurry. And as for Bill Morneau, he gave WE $100,000 before leaving on a trip to examine a school he might support. So the idea that there was anything wrong about taking his time to repay the costs of the trip is absurd since the WE organization hadn’t billed him. But this country is full of grubby dirty little people who love scandals more than they like sex. And will if they keep it up will end up in the pig sty they so richly deserve...
ReplyDeleteHi Simon
ReplyDeleteYou mention the dirty grubby people who love scandals more than sex. David Moscrop, who is no fan of Trudeau, even told the BBC that Canada is governed by such a small group of well-connected people that "these scandals happen regularly". So if everything is a scandal, nothing is, and the only reason this is creating headlines is because it's a Trudeau and the DipperCons have no policy to drag him on. Why even have a CoI Act if Ottawa itself is just one big CoI?
As I had said earlier, why doesn't anyone call on Andrew Coyne to recuse himself from writing Trudeau-bashing articles about his cousin. That's how close-knit the Canadian inner circle seems to be.
Also, to my additional point: A cell phone video posted to Twitter shows a QAnon troupe detained by security at Rideau Hall, where they went to arrest Trudeau for "corruption in SNC-Lavalin" but also for "pedophilia and treason." So as far as I'm concerned, the MSM itself is no better than these kooks, because they feed, normalize and create the conspiracy theories in the first place. People really need to start treating Robert Fife and Jesse Brown like the equivalent of Alex Jones and Matt Drudge. They're not journalists. They're smearmongers and drive-by hacks.
One thing I never understood about Canadian politics is that conservatives are all over the comment boards... just looked at globe and mail and it's basically only conservatives there... anyway if I were Trudeau I'd try to ban the conservatives like they tried to ban the afd in Germany...
ReplyDelete@JSB -- it's the same with U.S. politics too. Also, cons have dark money to hire troll farms. I wish Trudeau would ban the Cons too but he "respects the process" and of course they'd project accusations of him as a dictator. Even though it was Harper who forged a Faustian contract with Layton to destroy the Liberals.
ReplyDeleteWhat really needs to be fixed is the media that has it in for him, and for progressive policies more generally. ToryStar didn't wait too long after the takeover bid to start CERB-stomping with Reaganesque anecdotes about welfare queens. Some new info just dropped that vindicates the Liberals in this whole mess, but I don't think it likely that the media writ large will do their own "course correction." What's that saying about a lie getting halfway around the world before the truth puts its shoes on?
Per usual they're putting the blame all on the government for not getting their story straight. As "journalists," they're above reproach, they're "just asking questions" and they're "holding power accountable." Yeah, sure. Hard to mount a full-throated defense when the jury is stacked.
Idk while I agree that Canadian conservatives are despicable, I still think you should not be so paranoid about Media...reminds me of crazy trumpies ... anyway postmedia should be banned as it is almost as bad as the rebel and clearly hyperpartisan... anyway my belief is that North American conservatives need to be punished as much as possible, as they are the most egoistic and unpleasant group of people in the world IMO...if the cons win the next Canadian election, then the EU should cancel the trade deal just to spite them, and biden or his VP should consider invading Canada and hail the conservatives (his government should also go after republicans IMO and jail them or tax them if they continue to be republicans...).
DeleteHi Jackie....Ottawa is a small incestuous village, where the Con media like to pretend they are “stars” and inhale each other’s farts lustily. There’s a food court across from parliament hill, and whenever anybody enters all heads turn to see if it’s somebody “important” It’s simply pathetic. The town is pretty (in summer) but so small and boring the Con media is always sniffing for scandals and their social lives resemble something you might find in a Peyton Place. The corruption is so thick you can smell it...
ReplyDeleteHi Jsb....I treat the Con media harshly, but I am not paranoid. When The American owned Postmedia chain controls most papers in Canada, and dictates their editorial position, we have a serious problem, and it is a dire threat to our democracy. And it’s not just Canada. In the UK the con media has a stranglehold on most papers and is widely blamed for stirring up racism, and for fooling people into voting for Brexit, which will almost certainly lead to the breakup of the country. Democracy demands a diverse, and balanced media, and we don’t have one here...
