Andrew Scheer's New and Desperate NAFTA Scam
Well, Andrew Scheer's Great Scam Tour of India is finally over, and I think it's safe to say it was a total bust.
The idea was to make Scheer look "prime ministerial" by NOT wearing Indian garb, like Justin Trudeau did when he was in India.
And making a virtue out of BOOOORING.
But it just didn't work.
The Great Scam Tour was SOOOOO boring, it got almost no media coverage.
And I couldn't help feeling that by the time the tour ground to a halt, the bagged out Scheer was DYING to put on Indian garb, if only to get somebody to notice him.
But as is always the case with the Cons, one sleazy scam follows the other.
And believe it or not, this is the one Scheer is plugging this week...
I mean seriously, can you believe it?
After trying to torpedo the NAFTA negotiations...
With some help from his ghastly Cons, who even dredged up the Khadr case in an attempt to provoke Donald Trump.
Scheer is now claiming he could have got a better deal than Chrystia Freeland and Justin Trudeau did.
Without telling us what he would have done differently.
And even though others involved in the negotiations beg to disagree.
And of course so do I...
And the only question now is where will Scheer, the Con clown, go next?
And my guess is back to basics.
For he is out of ideas, and he is desperate...
He never should never have been named Con leader.
He will never be a Canadian Prime Minister.
And the only question now is, when will that loser resign?
Harpo making the rounds saying the Americans won. But he cant be partisan. Meanwhile he did his best Benidicot Arnold imitation, starting with a call for surrender before negotiations even began.
ReplyDeleteIf the conservatives had been in power for 9 years we would not have global warming and every pipeline desired would be built. Doh
I became convinced, during the Harper government years, that Stephen was--and still is--working for the Americans. Period. His fundamental view is American and he supports the U.S.A.
DeleteIs the last thing the cannabis scare campaign again?
ReplyDeleteKeep weed out of the hands of young adults so they just keep on with binge-drinking at uni initiation, a hallowed tradition? That can be fatal...
Or keep them buying dodgy weed and hasch from biker gangs? Which can also be fatal - not the weed, of course, a relatively innocuous drug, but the toxins it might be laced with...
Legault is also in on that shit.
Pull a string and watch Android Sneer say the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. Up next on Time-Life's Broken Record: Andy Doody's Not-So-Great Hits, he tells Francois Legault he would have gotten a better result in both the 1980 and 1995 separation referendums. Then it's over to Toronto and the Leafs front office, to tell Hayley Wickenheiser that they would have won a Cup every year for the past decade if he was coach, because he would have had a better playbook. Followed by a jaunt down to the US to hockeysplain American football to Bill Belichick. It's bad enough that he's cosplaying as Mirror Universe Justin, but he's even plagiarizing Trump, whose whole intent of redoing NAFTA in the first place was so he could get a "better deal" than his arch nemeses Obama and Bill Clinton. And then all he did was pretty much just rename it. Something tells me Scheer's going to give up the FAILING "I'm a better Trudeau than Trudeau" schtick and just go ahead and dye himself orange. Literally an empty suit.
ReplyDeleteHe should go work in Hollywood, that's how bereft of ideas he is. Then he can see how well his advice is received telling Ryan Reynolds he would have written a better screenplay for Deadpool, and get torn a new one by Kiefer Sutherland when he says he would have come up with a better healthcare plan than his grandpa. Meanwhile, George Lucas of all people would be on the phone asking Justin Trudeau why this guy Scheer thinks he can just go ahead and retcon a bunch of armchair fanfic reboots that nobody really asked for. Scheer's post-political memoir, all of half a page, therefore ought to be called May the Farce Be With You.
Andrew Scheer appears to me to be a drowning man clutching at straws. He doesn’t stand for anything except his irrational hatred of Justin Trudeau. I honestly wonder whether there is any history of mental illness in his family background.
ReplyDeleteNah, probably just bog-standard religious wingnuttery and hatred of all things liberal (his father was a pastor or something). Plus the western provinces' hard-on vendetta for anyone named Trudeau, including the unrelated Doonesbury cartoonist and random people in the phone book.
DeleteRumors keep circling around Ottawa that he's got himself either a prairie maid or lumberjack on the side. That scowl from the missus speaks a thousand words. So maybe he's jealous of Justin and Sophie. Apparently Scumbag Steve is now a stray cat on the prowl again after Laureen kicked him to the curb.
It's all projection, that much is certain. An unhealthy obsession to be sure.
so many rumours about their marriage as fake as Harpo climate change plan.
DeleteHollow claims and an empty vessel to back them up.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to Howdy Doody Andy's wonderful world of steaming bullshit.

Anonymous, please be careful. I have nothing but disdain for Scheer, but there is a history of mental illness in most families - most certainly mine (I had a violent, out-of-control brother), and we know that Justin's mum struggled with mental health issues (and seems to be doing much better now.
ReplyDeleteIf Scheer was such a wonderful negotiator, where is the evidence. we had both Mulroney and Ambrose concur with the agreement. Perhaps if Scheer is such a great negotiator, he can get himself hired by Trump to do some negotiating with Kim 3 or some such thing.
ReplyDeleteFreeland and her team did an awesome job. Scheer and his gang of dimwits wouldn't have done better. They don't know how to negotiate or how the world works at that level.
