Justin Trudeau and the Con Media Losers
It's now been more than four days since Justin Trudeau missed a meeting of APEC leaders, and our Con media went ballistic.
Claiming he'd sabotaged a trade deal, and that all the other leaders were furious, and that Canada's reputation was RUINED!!!!
And nobody was more outraged than the pompous hack from the National Post Andrew Coyne.
Who fired off so many angry tweets his fingers must have been bleeding.
But while the other Con media stooges finally realized that Trudeau was simply sticking up for our country, and rejecting a bad deal.
And crawled away with their furry tails between their legs.
Coyne simply couldn't accept that he had jumped the gun, and made a fool out of himself...
And is still trying to justify his outrageously partisan overreaction with this kind of pathetic dribble.
Don't bother to read it all because it makes absolutely no sense. Just a quick read of the first four paragraphs is all you need, to understand that it's crazy stuff.
And it can only make you wonder whether Coyne is losing his marbles. Or whether the fear of losing his job has driven him over the deep end...
But whatever the explanation, what should be clear to any sane person, is that he is now too much of a hyper partisan Con to be allowed to appear on any CBC program.
Like the ghastly At Issue panel...
Because we shouldn't have to pay taxes to subsidize that kind of biased nonsense.
And Coyne should be let go, so he can spend more time trying to polish Paul Godfrey's ass at the sinking National Post, along with that other Con stooge John Ivison...
Before they're forced to swim for it, or join The Rebel.
And while we're at it, maybe the CBC could do us all another favour and fire this other Con who they hired from the National Post...
The producer of their hideous Opinion Pages, Robyn Urback.
Because when the monstrous Con propaganda site retweets four of her tweets in a row as it did yesterday:
And you read this partisan garbage.
It's pretty obvious that she is also too much of a Con stooge to produce an opinion page at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation
Or even call herself a journalist as she once did...
After graduating from journalism school six years ago.
Just like these people in my opinion are unfit to run the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation...
You know, I'm not sure that the media bosses in this country are even aware of how this tsunami of biased reporting is angering many Canadians.
Or whether if they are, they take that anger seriously.
But they should, for it's very real.
Many Canadians feel their democracy has been hijacked.
And if those media bosses don't do something about it.
It will be their funeral...
The attached article published in June 2017 outlines the Liberal's plans to revise the selection process for the CBC's board of directors. As all thing government improvements take a long time and will be fought all the way by the Cons. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/arts/television/trudeau-government-to-revise-cbcs-board-selection-process/article35388240/

hi RT...yes, it's a good plan, and I'm glad that change is finally on the way. But I wonder of that will be enough. It's clear to me that the Cons have not just been running the CBC board, they have infiltrated CBC management. I blame Peter Mansbridge for that because he was always a Con. But I'm afraid unless CBC management is totally purged not much will change...
DeleteWho are these ‘many’ Canadians extactly? Do you think they just want some Trudeau version of Pravda?
ReplyDeletehi anon...you stupid Con how dumb can you be you be? The many Canadians are those who support the Liberals and the NDP and the Greens, and who are sick of the Con media making it appear as if the traitor Cons are the only party who can govern this country. And believe me we are going to destroy them and their beloved Cons long before the next election...
DeleteWow, Harper really made a mess. Trudeau doesn't want the press to be "partisan," but clearly it already is, and replacing the board with Liberal supporters (or at least, "independents") can only be a good thing for Canada. The cons' moral bankruptcy is inversely proportionate to their comfortable financial status.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait until these bureaucrats' contracts expire, and their town criers do some field reporting from the unemployment line. Or wash ashore below the 49th as bullshit artists for Fox. Sean Insanity may end up on his rear end soon, after angering advertisers by giving airtime to that pervert Roy "Cowboy Woody" Moore. They'll probably need another angry Irishman to take his place, a role for which Andrew "Two-Bit Loonie" Coyne would make a perfect understudy. Robyn You're-a-Hack, the bubble-headed blonde, can replace Me-Again Kelly, who like the rest of the network's Bob Barker Beauties was hired purely as eye candy for the Viagra demographic and their Internet-troll grandsons. They can all take part in the Trudeau-bashing orgy that seems to be one of Tucker Snarlson's favorite activities, that is when he's not making one of his derp faces from tying his bowtie too tight.
In fact, the majority of their D-list reality-TV fake news reporters could come from Canada (thus taking 'Murrican jerbs), and none of Fox's senile, frothing cult viewers would even know the difference. At least they're not "libtards," and all of them are whiter than the pure-driven snow at Alert. All the better if they have a criminal record too! Conman Black should send Rupert Moloch his rap sheet -- er, résumé...
hi anon...yes, Trudeau and his colleagues don't want to be partisan, and they are trying to make this country a better place than it was under Harper. But I'm afraid they are being too gentle on the fascist Cons, and I for one would be happy if they used their majority to put the Cons and their media stooges in their place more often. But you're right, our grubby media is so mediocre if we just wait a bit, they will probably destroy themselves...
DeleteI think the CBC is going to fold soon and fire those con hacks. The boycott you spearheaded has put unbelievable pressure on their executives.
ReplyDeletehi anon...I don't think the CBC will fold, but I happen to know that their managers are hearing the message that is being spread not just by me, but by many others on Twitter. Whether they do anything remains to be seen, but if they don't their little nightmare will grow until it consumes them...
DeleteI have also been encouraged by the anger out there. Canadians can put up with a reasonable amount of bias from the corporate media, but in the last couple of months the media has gone overboard. It's the same kind of frenzy you'd expect to see in a cult. It's very disturbing and as you say, it does feel as if our democracy has been hijacked.
ReplyDeletehi anon...I agree with you completely. Anyone who has followed this blog knows that I am not normally a media basher. I recognize the valuable role it is supposed to play in a democracy, and have usually restricted my criticism to people like Rex Murphy and Margaret Wente. But the way the media has been acting in the last year or so leaves me no choice but to go after them. For now they are trying to undermine our democracy and they must not be allowed to get away with it...
DeleteHow does an air head like Urback end up producing the CBC's opinion page, six years out of journalism school, and with no discernible talent. It seems clear to me that that she was chosen because she's so right-wing, and that CBC management doesn't know what it's doing
ReplyDeletehi anon...don't ask me I haven't a clue. She obviously knows some Con in CBC management. From what I'm told not only is that hopelessly biased air head running that place, she is giving orders to an experienced reporter like Neil MacDonald. Can you believe that? Something is terribly wrong at the CBC and if we have to organize massive protests to get their attention, then that's what we will do....
DeleteSo Robyn Urback has a journalism degree? I'm guessing she was sleeping during the "importance of unbiased reporting" part of her curriculum?
ReplyDeleteIt's sad what the CBC has become Simon and you've provided ample proof of why they're turning into Fox News North. What astounds me even more is that the Libs are just letting these hacks attack them day after day.
We deserve balanced journalism and the only way to effect change is by letting them know how we feel.

hi JD...yes, and doesn't that picture tell you all you need to know about her.? I saw her latest piece yesterday afternoon, and you wouldn't believe how much she praised HERSELF. So yes, we need to do something, CBC management needs a reality check, and we should all e-mail Melanie Jolie and the CBC Ombudsman to complain about their Con bias...
