Andrew Scheer's Monstrous New Ad Campaign

I knew that it wouldn't be long before Hamish Marshall, who once worked for Ezra Levant's hate mongering rag The Rebel, would start telling Andrew Scheer what to do.

In his new role as the Con's election campaign manager.

The one who is supposed to help Scheer become Prime Minister, after having managed his winning leadership campaign.

I also knew that Marshall would start by trying to soften Schmear's image which has been damaged by weeks of screaming at Justin Trudeau.

Which has left him looking and sounding like a Schmeagol.

And sure enough they have tried to soften Scheer's image.

And it's hilarious...

Sort of like a Canadian version of Forrest Gump.

With Andrew Scheer strolling along in a quiet, clean, wealthy, white looking suburb, looking as bland as can be.

Trying to send out the message I'm not a religious fanatic, a misogynist, a racist, a homophobe or a Schmear artist, I'm Mr Nice Guy !!

But don't be fooled.

The only reason new Con propaganda machine is running that video, is because they want to make sure this new slogan gets a really gentle landing...

Because look at it. What does that message mean? What is Scheer trying to say?

Where have I heard that nativist message before?

And back then during the darkest days of the Harper regime, weren't Kellie Leitch and Chris Alexander beating the same drum?

Yes indeed, Schmeagol has heard that the Liberals are going to slightly increase the number of immigrants allowed to come to Canada.

And he's getting ready for battle...

And believe me, that maniac, and that issue, could set this country on fire.

Just as the fascists are setting fire to Poland.

The next election campaign has started.

Prepare to put our fascists in their place.

And get ready to defeat this creepy monster before he tears this country apart...

...and we all know what ended up happening to Pee Wee and his pee wee in the movie playhouse. Seriously, could you get any creepier? This video looks like Roy Moore should have a cameo in his cowboy costume. Is Scheer amending his platform to promise free candy and a litter of kittens from Harper's happy van?

    2. Hi Steve...yes, I have saved the video and will definitely turn it into something else. Material like that simply can't be wasted...

    3. hi anon 11:40 AM....I don't know if I can get Scheer into a movie house for the X-rated scene, I earnestly hope not. But what most annoys me about that video is that it's so fraudulent. Scheer or Schmear is not a nice guy. He is a true fanatic who as others have pointed out over the years, actually enjoys playing dirty...

We need to fight Scheer no matter what. He is the opposite of what we need. I want a communist Canada. The actual concept of Canada is racist and oppressive, our home on stolen native land.

    1. hi anon...if you want a communist Canada you may have to wait for a while. But in the meantime I would suggest that we first need to make sure that Scheer and his gang don't turn us into a fascist state. You know first things first. It's hard to build a communist paradise when you're in jail or have a noose around your neck. Many lefties have made that mistake and paid for it with their lives....

    2. hi anon 10:12 am...I have always tried to get progressives to unite to fight the right. But since these days the NDP and the Cons are like Siamese twins, we will have to unite behind Trudeau and that's fine with me...

    3. hi anon 2:19 pm ...I am aware that we have allies south of the border and it makes me feel really good, because I consider myself an ally of progressive Americans, and we are all fighting the same enemy. Andrew Scheer and his little monster Hamish Marshall are both Trumpkins, and if that's not clear now, it will be sooner rather than later. So we are also in great danger. But just like you we will fight those fascists, and fight them, and fight them, until we defeat them. And when we do it won't just be hands across the border, it will be party across the border, and it will go on for days... ;)

Hey Simon, did you see the massive anti-racism rally in Montréal on Sunday?

    http://anti-racistcanada.blogspot.com/2017/11/massive-anti-racism-march-and-rally-in.html

That's got to get Pee Wee German soiling his white sheets, eh? No wonder the cons are collapsing in Québec. People are tired of this intolerant crap. His "new image" as Mr. Nice Guy is only going to backfire. He can't out-Justin Justin, who is genuine and authentic. In fact, he looks like the kind of guy you wouldn't want anywhere near a playground, a school, or, well, a shopping mall either...

As for the defacement of MacDonald's statue that someone else brought up yesterday (which this group had no affiliation with), far as I'm concerned it was a nonviolent protest where nobody got hurt. The group that did it even said that they don't want the statue destroyed, just moved to a museum with proper context rather than glorified in the public square. MacDonald already got deposed from the C$10 in favor of Viola Desmond. I say do the same with the statue, put up one of her instead.

The insular, homogeneous world of Scheer-friendly "Euro-Canadian" exclusionists is dying, and it's about time. Send Andy Pander packing, and give him a pittance-wage job loading Sir John the drunkard into a U-Haul to be put in storage.

    1. hi anon 11:49 AM...yes I did, and I was glad to see it, because there are far too many fascist groups marching around and they need to be reminded that this is Canada not Nazi Germany. As for Scheer his new image as Mr Nice Guy is a joke, and if the MSM wasn't so busy sucking up to him, that might be obvious even to them. But that's OK, luckily we don't have to depend on them to get our message out, and we will expose Scheer for the sinister Levantine fascist he is...

  5. White looking suburb, did you not notice the black Canadian woman?

And since, when are suburbs reserved for white people, I know all kinds of people who live in suburbs.

Like, seriously what could you possibly get offended by in this ad, it's so nice it's almost Unamerican.

That's what's called tokenism. Like Trump propping up Ben Carson and Omarosa to demonstrate how "not racist" he is. Every group has its kapos, like Leitch being held up as an example of how not-homophobic the cons are, or that Milo guy and Peter Thiel of Paypal on the GOP side. Pitchmen are a poor example of platform. If the cons had their way, all of Canada would be Alabama.

What's offensive is Scheer's blatantly obvious, disingenuous "reinventing" of his and the cons' image -- not to mention the projecting of what's "wholesome" and what is not. It's fake news. He's selling a 1950s suburban fantasy just like the Republicans with their Leave it to Beaver version of a Potemkin village. Why are suburbs "wholesome" and not cities or college towns? The answer is blatantly obvious, yet you refuse to see it because you just don't like Justin or the Liberals for defeating the NDP and would rather side with Scheer. Even though everyone in your NDP is "other" to him just the same. Particularly Singh.

    2. hi Gyor...yes, I noticed the token black person, and no suburbs are not reserved for white people. But it still looked awfully white as in bland to me. But as I said in my post, the video was hilarious, but the other graphic that came with it was not. I made the mistake of trimming the top of that graphic which said something like "to those who would denigrate our country..." which I think you'll agree makes it far more ominous. Who are those who would denigrate our country? And does he intend to go after them with his Rebel values? The guy is dangerous Gyor, and sooner or later even you will understand that...

    3. hi anon 9:31 pm...yes I agree with you, that suburban fantasy is what Trump used to make people believe they could go back to some kind of idealized past. It's unrealistic because most Canadians now live in urbanized areas, and Scheer's version of reality is as you say nothing more than a Leave it to Beaver version of a Potemkin village. But that's OK, all we need to do is compare that version of Scheer, to the ugly version of Schmear, and he'll end up looking like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde...

Hamish's claim to fame is likely an ability to manipulate social media by micro targeting the audience with bogus propaganda that triggers hot buttons at the individual level. Pro guns, anti Muslim, pro abortion, concerned about corruption, government spending whatever your poison he will arrange to incite you with a continuous barrage of Facebook, Twitter, and fake news feeds to convince you that a majority of Canadians feel the same way and it is your patriotic duty to get out and vote to put an end to it. The strategy was in its trial stages during the last federal election but proved very effective during the US election and is now ready for 2020.
A major problem the Cons are facing is that Scheer's image and is too pedestrian to pull off this type of deception. Also hopefully manipulation of the social media sites with bogus news and fake accounts will become more difficult once the US comes to grips with election hacking. Like Harper's Big Oil strategy the Cons seem to have an uncanny ability to latch onto yesterday. Time will tell but lets do whatever we can to push them into the garbage can of history.

    1. hi RT....yes, Marshall is the master of a million websites, with one aimed at just about every Con niche or demographic. He will I am almost certain use all those websites to create a flood of so-called fake news, which is why the sooner we catch him in the act and expose him the better. As for Scheer's image he might appear bland right now, but every now and then when his mask drops away he can do a very good imitation of an angry demagogue. And since I haven't the slightest doubt that him and Marshall will play the immigration card, which is the only way he can make gains in Quebec and the rest of Canada, we are in for some dangerous times...

don't know where the town is besides make believe heaven. Firstly it sure isn't greater Vancouver. If it was, all those people sitting there would be living in houses which cost at least 2 million and those people, well, the would be a whole lot less white. Can only conclude Scheer and his gang don't know that there are a lot of people living in B.C. who come from Asia, India, Phillipines, etc. Scheer tries to talk about his roots, the usual working hard, making a life for yourself and family. He is just way off base. one in 5 children were living below the poverty line in Canada during the Con years. it was Trudeau who brought in the monthly child cheques so many of these children can now have balanced diets.

Did Scheer and his racist pal forget we are living in a country which was first populated by the Indigenous people. expect to see another 2 years of anti Trudeau/Liberal commercials.

Who is paying for all these commercials? It isn't cheap to produce or air them.

    1. Hi e.a.f. Hamish Marshall has sent out an e-mail asking Con supporters to help pay to put that YouTube ad on TV by contributing $38 dollars each. (Scheer is 38) The Cons also raise more money than any of the other parties, so you can expect to see a lot of attack ads in the next two years....

Wow! That saccharin laced video has got to be the epitome of hypocrisy. He should be charged with impersonating a nice person.
I also see that Schmeagol is developing the Harper paunch Simon. Would that make him "The Lord Of The Onion Rings"?

    1. hi JD...yes it is the epitome of hypocrisy. He's spend the last month or two attacking Justin Trudeau like a rabid hyena, only to turn up in a quiet suburb looking like Mr Nice Guy. I'm telling you it's a horror movie. One moment he's the Lord of the Onion Rings, the next moment he's the monster Schmeagol. I've been a little tired recently, but when I recover, I'm going to have some video fun... ;)
