I never thought the Cons could come up with another leader who could lie as much as Andrew Scheer.
For Scheer was the worst serial liar this country has ever known, and his Pinocchio nose just grew and grew until it was practically a weapon.
Nobody could beat that I thought.
But sadly, I was wrong.
Blasting the government for what he calls "putting all its eggs in one basket."
When in fact Canada has the most diversified vaccine portfolio in the world...
With more doses per person than any other country.
Or claiming that Canada is at the back of the line, when the opposite is true:
It's beyond belief that the Cons would try to sabotage the war on Covid 19, even as a deadly second wave threatens the lives of tens of thousands of Canadians.
It's so vile that in another kind of war they would have been put on trial for treason.
But as if that wasn't bad enough, then there's O'Toole's grotesque hypocrisy...
Demanding that the Trudeau government deliver vaccines TOMORROW.
While doing nothing to stop the monstrous SoCon MP Derek Sloan from claiming that they are too dangerous to take.
And becoming the Con champion of the anti-vaxxers.
Conservative MP Derek Sloan is sponsoring a petition that calls COVID-19 vaccines rushed, unsafe and “effectively human experimentation.”
The petition calls on the government to “legally ensure COVID-19 vaccines are voluntary” — despite repeated assurances that a vaccine will only be authorized if safe, and it will not be mandatory — and claims “COVID-19 vaccines are not designed to prevent infection or transmission.”
You know these kind of people...
The ones who don't believe in vaccines OR masks.
The Covidiots who would put their selfish interests before the lives of the old and the vulnerable.
The ones that Erin O'Toole doesn't dare criticize, because most of them support his ugly Cons. And he's too cowardly.
And too hypocritical for words:
Can you believe that?
The absurd "True Blue" O'Toole who is always trying to use his mediocre military career to boost his lightweight credentials, would dare accuse the distinguished general Dany Fortin of being a "prop?"
When Fortin about to command Canada's biggest logistical operation since the Second World War.His name is Maj.-Gen. Dany Fortin. He comes with nearly 30 years of military experience, but now he’s in for a mission like no other: overseeing the herculean logistical effort to see vaccines make their way across the country and into the arms of millions of Canadians in 2021.
And is at least one thousand times more of a soldier than O'Toole was, or could ever hope to be.
You know, the next few months are almost certainly going to be some of the darkest and most murderous in modern Canadian history...
They will take us to a very dark place.
So stopping them is now the sacred duty of every decent Canadian.
And failure is not an option...
I have been wondering whether O'Toole is as weak a leader as he has appeared to be so far. He seems to keep dodging questions about difficult issues, hiding behind his son, etc., and I am wondering when we will start hearing rumblings from the Con caucus
ReplyDeleteGood fun yesterday hearing the old tool quack and squawk about ' no plan ' as the general detailed the plan on live tv. Not a good way to signal judgement and reliability by Error O'Fool .
ReplyDeleteAnd a gratifying poke in the eye for Wornout Knsellout when the general referred to the 'process' .
I look at Erin the tool as the most useless, worn out tool the Con "toolbox" has ever had. It's a good for nothing tool that just lies there, every day. The same applies to all the other tools in tool's "toolbox" who are equally worn out and also just lie there each and every day. Lies, lies, lies. It's abundantly clear that these tools are utterly incapable of repairing things, they only cause further damage. I hope Canadians are as repulsed as I am on what these assholes are doing and reward them in kind in our next election.
ReplyDelete"Spoiler Alert!" The Conservative party of the Joe Clark era is gone for good and what remains is a Trumpian wannabe group of misfits that represent every repulsive and delusional facets of our society. Sad.

I'm not just angry about the Cons' COVID sabotage but their disgraceful stonewalling of the MAiD expansion. MAiD is at the other "bookend" of the right to choose abortion -- it all comes under the umbrella of bodily autonomy -- and it's clear that O'Foole is letting so-con trash like Sloan drive the agenda, while taking self-declared "disability activists" for a ride. So much for civil liberties and small-c conservatives? It's the same thing the GOP does with Down Syndrome advocates to chip away at reproductive rights. It's micromanaging bullshit using anecdotal sob stories in bad faith.
ReplyDeleteThey're not "pro-life" they're just control freaks who fetishize suffering to maximize profit. My body, myself, as long as it does not harm anyone else. Commander Waterford concern trolls about bodily autonomy to appease the anti-vaxers, while the rest of the Cons concern troll at committee about the Liberals supposedly implementing eugenics -- even as Kenney pursues a herd immunity strategy to "cull the unfit." But if any one of these unfortunate COVID survivors infected by some anti-mask/anti-vax idiot exercising his "civil liberties" decided that the after effects were too much to bear, and sought MAiD as a humane end to their suffering, right away it's setting a bad precedent and -- lo and behold, "playing God." They can fuck all the way off with that noise.
What is blatantly and infuriatingly obvious is that CPC obviously doesn't stand for Consistency Party of Canada. Their only raison d'etre is abject lying and promulgating cognitive dissonance and conspiracy theories to own the Libs.
The Conservative party of the Joe Clark era is gone for good and what remains is a Trumpian wannabe group of misfits that represent every repulsive and delusional facets of our society. Sad.
ReplyDeleteOh hey JD I just saw this! O'Toole is turning into Giuliani! Just not ready... nice hair dye, though...
https://nowtoronto.com/news/is-erin-otoole-turning-into-rudy-giuliani
Maybe he should schedule his next "TRUDEAU BAD!" presser at the Four Seasons Oil & Gas Emporium of Wet Fart, Alberta. He can tell old soldier stories all about how he was a bigly smart modern major general who served in both world wars, 1812, and 'Naaaaaaaaaaam.

sad sas sad
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link, Jackie. It's nice to see the bald-faced(and headed) liar, 'Tooliani being called out for what he is for a change. I see others in the Con MSM doing their lamest to call him out but they just cant help themselves from taking cheap shots at JT. Why bother? They may as well go full on JT deranged as Lyin' Brian Lilley and the rest of the sun's cabal of Con crayon columnists. It's just not right that we've got Fox news north spewing their alt-right garbage up here without having a viable left leaning media outlet to counter their constant flow of viscous, rancid sewage. Someone help us, please! Canada needs a pump-out!
ReplyDeleteJD
CTV reported 98% of all Covid deaths are in old age homes. So that means a couple hundred died outside of them out of a population of 35 million. But... enjoy your vaccine I guess.
ReplyDeleteHi Cathie....O'Toole is a weak leader because the SoCons are now such a force in his party he can't afford to alienate them. Because he's such a grasping opportunist he made secret promises to them in the run up to the leadership convention, and is now trapped. He can't even even discipline people like Derek Sloan. But despite that his polls have remained more or less steady, and until they take a dive don't expect to see any signs of revolt in his debased party, especially since so many in the media give his such an easy time for their own sordid reasons...
ReplyDeleteHi rumleyfips....If I hear O'Toole and Rempel squawk "where's the plan?" again I think I'll scream. And I know that quite a few frontline medical workers feel the same way. It's beyond outrageous that anyone would try to undermine our collective response to a murderous pandemic for grubby political reasons. And as for Kinsella, trying to whip up another fake scandal, he's just pathetic...
ReplyDeleteHi JD...I agree with every word in your comment, I too have come to regard O'Toole as the lowest Con leader I have ever known. Worse than Scheer and Harper. Maybe it's just the times we live in, but he absolutely disgusts me. Almost everything he says is a lie, and there's something about his smarmy way of speaking that drives me wild and makes me want to punch hole in the wall. I gave away my punching bag about a year ago, and now I deeply regret it. I feel for decent Cons like Joe Clark who must be horrified to see what his party has become, and like you I pray that Canadians don't let O'Toole and his un-Canadian gang drag this whole country into the gutter...
ReplyDeleteHi Cathie...the Con efforts to stonewall the court ordered modifications to MAID are just another example of the grip the SoCons have on Mr Jolly Jelly. He simply doesn't dare defy them, as as his comments on the CERB reveal, that grubby opportunist doesn't have an ounce of empathy for suffering Canadians. God help us if he should ever become Prime Minister. I also saw the Now article on O'Toole, where Enzo di Matteo compares him to Rudy Giuliani and enjoyed it immensely. I'm glad that some people in the alternative media are starting to notice the way O'Toole lies all the time, but will the Con media start denouncing him as well? I'm not holding my breath waiting for that too happen, but I'm having a lot of fun plastering big noses on O'Toole, and I'm reasonably optimistic that most Canadians will eventually realize what a low creature he is...
ReplyDeleteDo you have a source for the vaccine per capita? This is VERY shareable content so long as we don't give idiots a chance to refute it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm looking forward to you taking the lid off the stupidity that's unraveling in Alberta. Health care cuts by Kenney to funnel tax breaks for oil companies should not equal handouts from the feds.
Alberta needs to pull itself up by its bootstraps. An OlD school old stock sales tax would be just the ticket.
ReplyDeleteHi anon@11:02 AM....I don’t think anybody can provide any numbers on the number of vaccines going here or there. But one of the generals handling the logistics said one should think of it as one train after another arriving at a station. We bought our tickets early so we’re in good shape despite what the Cons say. As for Alberta, I look forward to writing about that province and its useless leader...
ReplyDeleteHi Steve....A sales tax would be a good start, but Alberta needs more than that. It needs to come down to earth and stop acting as if it’s God’s country, instead of what it really is, a tarry banana republic...l
