Andrew Scheer's Shameful Contempt for Parliament

Andrew Scheer was without a doubt the worst Speaker of the House of Commons in modern Canadian history.

A Speaker so biased, so incompetent, and so depraved, that he allowed his fellow Cons to make a mockery out of our Parliament.

Cutting off debate, heckling and howling like beasts, stomping around like bullies, defecating on our values and traditions, until the Commons resembled nothing less than a Roman or fascist circus.

And now Scheer has shown his contempt for Parliament again.

With an all night marathon debate that was an absolute farce.

After more than 20 hours of continuous voting, the Conservatives have ended their filibuster-like tit-for-tat tactics in the House of Commons.

The overnight vote was in retaliation after the Liberals voted down the Conservatives' motion to have the prime minister's national security adviser testify in front of a committee about the Jaspal Atwal affair.

A grotesque attempt to keep the fake India story alive for crass political purposes...

And of course it had to be Candice Bergen, leading the charge and finally pulling the plug.

"This has been a very, very long day," said Conservative House leader Candice Bergen just before MPs were given the OK to leave the floor Friday afternoon.

For believe it or not, Scheer managed to miss most of his own debate...

So he looked like a real idiot.

And Bergen, sadly, couldn't keep her good ol' boys from acting like animals.

With one Con after the other using the word "costume" to describe the clothes Justin Trudeau wore in India, that Liberal MP Ruby Sahota had to ask them to stop acting like racists.

But then of course that is what that fake India story is all about. Trying to embarrass Justin Trudeau, and catering to their racist base...

And all of this at a time when the world is collapsing all around us. A trade war or even a nuclear war could break out at any time.

But Andrew Scheer and his ex-Rebel campaign manager Hamish Marshall seem to think that India is the BIG STORY?

Which is so crazy it raises some disturbing questions:

Why are Scheer and his Cons trying to let the sinister Indian intelligence service know what our security services know about them?

Why are they favouring the interests of Narendra Modi's Hindu extremist government over the interests of our government?

And if they are not being paid, why do they hate Canada so much?

But then that's why Scheer will always be too small, or too narrowly partisan, or too much of a Con clown to be a good leader...

Let alone a Prime Minister.

Unlike Justin Trudeau, seen here rallying his weary caucus and congratulating them for having forced the Cons to capitulate early...

I mean let's get serious.

At a dangerous time like this one we need a real leader.

And he's the best we got...

    1. Hi Steve...Scheer like all Cons is only interested in destroying. Several Sikh Canadians have written excellent accounts of what really is going on in India, and basically it appears that our Con media have played right into the hands of the Hindu extremists who support Narendra Modi. Forcing our security people to reveal what they know would only make matters worse. The Cons should be ashamed of themselves...

  2. That shot of the Trudeau and the Liberal Caucus looks like they are hold up in a nineteenth century underground fortress. Strange room for the parlament building.

I did not really register the Cons' Marathon March of Fools until yesterday afternoon and my first thought was, "The Cons aro making themselves look like real fools". My second thought was, "Yes, this really helps me despise them even more".

Has Scheer been attending Republican bootcamp in the USA? He is starting to look as stupid as an US Republican senator and that is not easy to do.

If that offensive advertisement with the 4 turbaned men is a Con ad Scheer looks like he is as racist as Donald Trump. It looks like straight plagarism from the disgusting "Shara Law" ads from the US alt-right, AKA the f**ing American Nazis.

Well, they are facing down a stealth coup by a fifth column on their right flank, so I guess a bomb shelter is a fitting place to hold an emergency caucus. Because it's 1933...

Levant is a product of Koch sleepaway camp back in the '90s, so it wouldn't surprise me if Scheer's been getting tips and tricks either directly from the deplorable gazillionaires on my side of the Orange Curtain, or even from whatever leftover Bush exports are still hanging around in Harper's inner circle. Either that or they've been binge-watching American movies, because they're fresh out of ideas and want to copy Trump by copying Hollywood and hoping Canadians are stupid enough to want to be in their own movie-slash-reality show like their cousins downstairs. I mean, that seems to be where Trump gets his policy strategy from, as now he even appears intent on outdoing Justin's Star Wars fandom -- which Justin knows very well is fictional, obviously -- by building a "space force" of his own. In other words, a rebooted sequel to an old Ronald Reagan flick. Because it's 1983.

Scheer must figure he's going to duke it out with JT like Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris staring down a kitty cat in an internet meme from Way of the Dragon. JT won't take the bait, but before Andy can throw the first punch, Julie Payette calls out "Gentlemen! You can't fight in here! This is the WAR ROOM!" Cut, print, abort, retry, fail...

I grew up watching Canadian entertainment in America, and I always liked the style of it that gave us the "Care Bears" and "Mr. Rogers" (by way of "Mr. Dressup"). But Scheer doesn't like Trudeau's brand of cuddly and compassionate politics. He seems hell-bent on importing a homegrown version of Bill O'Reilly and Wrestlemania. But from what I remember growing up with those Care Bears VHS tapes, the more times you made a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy, the more it degrades to an un-bear-able level. The more Scheer tries running Trump's campaign tutorials through the duplication machine, the more he and his deplorable party look like the sort of thing bears leave behind in the woods.

      Because it's 2023.

    2. Hi jrkrideau...yes I know how you feel. It was an appalling spectacle. The Liberals were forced to keep up their numbers in the chamber because if they had lost one of those votes an election would have been triggered. Meanwhile the Cons had only a handful of MPs in their seats and were carrying on like frat boys. At one point Erin O'Toole even made what looked like a Nazi salute, so yeah it was awful, and I too find myself despising the Scheer Cons more than I ever imagined I could. They have used their financial advantage to create a formidable attack machine, but more on that later. All I will say for now is that everything that made Canada special and decent is now seriously threatened...

    3. Hi Jackie...I hadn't thought of that shot of Justin standing on a table as resembling a nineteenth century fortress until jrkrideau mentioned it. But now that he has I can see what he means, although I think it's more like the Maginot line. The truth is the Cons with the help of the Con media have managed to damage our Freedom Army, But luckily we are more and better than them, and the Care Bears are still on our side...😉

  3. Do you guys know whether anyone in the Conservative party through Linkedin or Facebook had any connections with the SCL Group or Cambridge Analytica with the Conservative party?! I am trying to send any story to media personalities.

      Hi John

I do not have a direct link but certainly Hamish Marshall --> Rebel Media ---> Rebel Media UK ---> Ezra / Nigel Farage/ others --> UKIP --> Cambridge Analytica. Often wondered why Rebel Media expanded into the UK in the first place but it now seems to be birds of a feather. The search engine at theguardian.com is an excellent source of background material. The Brits are way ahead of us in this area. The Canadian connections with Chris Wylie/AggregateIQ/SCL Canada are also very interesting. I am sure there is a good story here but it would take some serious investigative reporting to dig it out. Also Wylie was briefly employed by the Liberals a number of years ago so it is possible that none of the major parties are squeaky clean but the Cons are using the Cambridge Analytica playbook to the letter with ads targeting individuals matched to one of the 4 major social media motivators. More about that later.

    2. Hi John...I don't know if the Cons had any links to SCL or Cambridge Analytica, but Hamish Marshall is their psychographic expert, so as I hope to explain soon, the enemy has been hiding in plain sight...

    3. Hi RT....thanks for trying to help John, and yes as I tried to explain the Cons have a data mining system that rivals anything Cambridge Alalytica ever deployed. So much so that CA is actually a distraction that is preventing people from seeing what is really happening...

You raise some very good questions as to why they're doing this Simon and the answer I believe is to keep this rotting nothing burger in the news so our Con lapdog media keeps lapping away at it while making the Libs look bad.
Lest we forget the Harper cooking school of assholes where old Stevie boy would take 1 part story, add 3 parts bullshit, bake at 350 until it reeks and then feed it to the Con MSM. Et voila, one smelly nothing burger.
It doesn't end there though, Stevie boy would keep reheating the burger over and over again and the Con media would keep feasting on it until the fetid remains are gone.
Harper 2.0 was a good study as he perfectly emulates the Harper we all know and despise. Canadians just need a friendly jolt to wake them up to the fact that these Cons are the same old Cons as before and that their interests will ALWAYS come before ours.

    1. Hi JD...yes the main reason the Cons are doing it is to try to breathe life into that absurd fake scandal them and their media stooges have been peddling for what now seems like years. That fake scandal seems to have given them the biggest boost in the polls they have ever received, so they are back at the trough for more. Hopefully they will overdo it, and people will realize that they are beating a hollow drum. But let's not kid ourselves, our country is in terrible danger...

The reason why there is such a disconnect between the hype and reality is that Scheer is using Canadian parliamentary proceedings to make political propaganda videos for targeted distribution on social media. This is straight out of Cambridge Analytica's playbook. It is effective and relatively cheap and simple once voter preference data is collected either through legal or illegal means. The large number or reported views per video suggests some illegal / unethical activity. According to the attached article the “Big Five” psychological traits are – openness, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness and neuroticism. Targeting profiled individuals with one of the 5 in an experiment demonstrated “You could see the difference between a control group and our targeted messaging, and the uplift was huge.”
The attached article and videos show the many faces of John Bolton but Scheers parliamentary propaganda videos can readily be substituted. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/mar/23/john-bolton-cambridge-analytica-videos-donald-trump

    1. Hi RT...yes, you're right, the Cons already have a massive operation going, with more than ten times the number of Liberal and NDP ads combined. In addition as you point out, there is something fishy going on, with the large number of hits some of these videos are apparently receiving. Canadians are facing an unknown enemy and we must do all we can to pull back the curtain and reveal who those sinister black ops artists are. I personally welcome the challenge and I'm sure you do too....

Welcome back Simon. I have to say I kept checking the blog and was worried that something had happened -- don't leave me hanging with that frightening story about the con media trying to push Proud Boy to a majority! And then Trump hires the Mad Mustache, but Proud Boy and his flying monkeys are still rehashing old fake news about nothing as though they were recapping a "Seinfeld" rerun, even as we're teetering on the brink of global economic collapse yet again and now, nuclear war. If Trump pushes the button and catches Trudeau off guard because he's being made to waste his time corralling the out-of-control kindergarten classroom that's being turned into a pigpen by the school bully, the blood will be on Scheer's hands for putting party (and ratings) above country. Shame on him.

I hope enough of your countrymen can see what an asshole he truly is. Trudeau is a statesman -- he's more than ready. He's deftly juggling Adolf Twitler to the south of him and a traitor at home. Who's Andy's debate coach? Vince McMahon? Or did Ted Cruz get shipped back home to Alberta to give a few pointers on repeating Dr. Seuss rhymes ad nauseam? Trudeau reminds me a lot of Jimmy Stewart in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, although I didn't think that movie was relevant outside of the U.S. because I didn't think the parliament had that kind of mechanism or was known for daylong filibusters like this. Maybe it does, and I have to brush up on my comparative government notes, but clogging up Parliament for 20 hours over a dead non-story shows how un-Canadian the diabolical Andy-Christ really is.

So much for peace, order and good government. Sounds more like WWE, "Jerry Springer" and "Real Housewives of Parliament Hill." But it figures he doesn't even show up for the debate. Trudeau's got yooge stamina, and a backbone of Canadian steel, as Patrick Brazeau can no doubt attest to (and even Trump must deep down have to admit even to his pathetic, low-energy, failing sorry self). Your cons are just as much of an embarrassment and a disgrace as our GOP, and I hope Canadians can see that there's really no difference on either side of the border. A vote for Scheer is a vote for Trump, Pence, McConnell, Ryan, and of course, Lyin' Ted. Keep reminding them of that, and the Brat in the Hat's gambit to show off his muscles will backfire in his bigly punchable face.

I do not like you, Andrew Scheer.
I do not like you there or here.
I do not like you, hope you lose.
I do not like your lying fake news.
I do not like your petty griefs.
I do not like your fascist beliefs.
I do not like your stupid grin.
I do not like your lack of chin.
I do not like you, Andrew Scheer.
I do not like your politics of fear.
I do not like your reality show.
But I really do like Justin Trudeau!

    1. Hi Jackie...thank you, and I'm sorry I didn't explain that I would be away for a few days. But I don't see my brother often since he lives and works in Europe, so when he told me he was in Florida and offered to pay my ticket down, I literally jumped at the chance. And yes, it certainly wasn't the post to write and then leave up there. 😳 But yes, we do face a new reality thanks to the relentless work of the Con media, who have somehow convinced some dumb hosers that Justin has embarrassed us in the eyes of the world, when in fact the opposite is the case. *Sigh* Still we can let that discourage us. The way I see it, you me, and some of the other great people who read this blog are on a journey. Right now we are riding in a dilapidated but colourful hippie bus, but soon we will be riding in a tank, and one way or the other we are going to defeat the Cons in this country and yours. And won't that be something to celebrate? Now let me go and work out a tune on my guitar, so we can sing those lyrics you provided, as we go bouncing down the road...😀

The only reason I ask is because I checked out Linkedin and found nothing. I was hoping people on here could check for CPC connections to SCL or Cambridge or Renaissance or other groups because that would sink the CPC instantly. It would then be researched on mass by all media. Just one ounce of proof is all that is necessary. I already presented something to journalists about the psychographic examples, but that is not enough, since it is not visual. I agree that the ad example is another huge area of contention.
