Donald Trump and the Return of the Daisy Girl
As we all know, Donald Trump is a threat to everything decent in America.
From its women and girls, who he would grope like a beast, to its democracy he would defile and degrade.
He would plunge the world into the greatest recession since the Great Depression.
But the greatest threat he poses is to the planet itself.
For who could trust that mentally unstable psychopath anywhere near the nuclear button?
When a simple tweet can drive him over the deep end...
This is how he is being portrayed by his many neo-nazi supporters...
And it should be obvious to most Americans that should that deranged demagogue who claims he "knows more than the generals" ever become president, he would lead the U.S. to disaster.
And could easily trigger a nuclear war that would lay waste the world, without even knowing what he was doing.
But then the Americans have faced a similar threat, fifty two years ago during the 1964 Presidential election campaign.
When the Democratic candidate, Lyndon Johnson, was locked in a desperate struggle with the Republican crackpot Barry Goldwater, who was also threatening to turn the world into a heap of smoking radioactive ash.
Until the Democrats hit him with this ad, the so-called Daisy ad, which helped blow up his chances of becoming president.
And helped give Johnson the biggest landslide victory in over 120 years.
So I'm glad to see that the little girl in that video is back with an updated version of the same warning...
Please don't let Donald Trump anywhere near the nuclear button.
And she isn't the only one warning that Donald Trump could destroy the planet, so is Bernie Sanders.
He is setting out on a marathon cross country tour to try to convince some of his dumbest supporters not to cast a protest vote for third parties, or stay at home on election day.
For that can only help elect Trump.
And he is reminding all Americans about the deadly consequences of letting that monster win...
And yes Bernie is right. If Donald Trump should become president, the planet wouldn't stand a chance.
And with just seven days to go before the election, it's time to ram home this message:
Screw that e-mail bullshit, our very survival is at stake.
Don't let him torch our home.
Don't let him kill the children.
Don't let him kill us all...
I can't believe they are doing this to us, I can't believe they could be so selfish and idiotic.
ReplyDeletehi anon...it's the worst election in American history, and Trump is the worst candidate ever, so what else can we expect? And believe me, it's going to get worse before it gets better...
DeleteHehehehe. Just two weeks ago, maybe three, I remember David Common telling us all at 0500 hrs that the campaign was over, Hillary would win, period. I remember the CBC endlessly droning on about how Donald Trump was finished, how it was over.

And that's a D+10 poll. Party affiliation in the US sits at about 25% Republican, about 30% Democrat. So, a representative sample would be about 25:30:45. As long as it was within a few percentage points, you'd get a decent poll. But it's a D+10 poll, and independents are the least sampled here, when they should be the most. Given these numbers, Trump is ahead by about five points nationally, maybe 7 or 8.
Better build that Fallout shelter.
hi anon...Trump may have narrowed the gap, but he is still not going to win. An average of polls still shows Clinton ahead by four or five points, and with some surveys showing a large number of Republican crossovers, and the Democrat's superior ground game, they will win the election, and probably by a good margin. Sorry....
DeleteHeheheh! Just keep telling yourself that! :-D

hi David...yes, I like both those ads, and I'm glad the Democrats are ending up on that theme. It's the one that can best motivate their base, especially millennials. And hopefully convince many disaffected Republicans to either vote for Hillary, or not vote at all...
