Donald Trump, Stephen Harper, and the Bigots That Flock Together

Golly. I never thought I'd be happy to see the grotesque billionaire bigot Donald Trump doing well at anything.

But I must say this is very encouraging.

"Trump's really caught fire with voters on the far right — 66% of 'very conservative' voters see him favorably to only 24% with a negative view of him."

Especially since Trump's soaring popularity has Republican leaders freaking out.

The head of the Republican National Committee, responding to demands from increasingly worried party leaders, spent nearly an hour Wednesday on the phone with Donald Trump, urging the presidential candidate to tone down his inflammatory comments about immigration that have infuriated a key election constituency.

With good reason....

Hispanics are the fastest growing ethnic group in the U.S. and are now number one in California.

And the Democrats are already doing their best to make sure almost none of them vote for the Retrumplican Party...

And now for a quick quiz. Which of the bigots in that video did Stephen Harper recently meet with secretly?

Answer: this one.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper quietly took a meeting last month with Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, a likely candidate for the Republican presidential nomination and a bête noire to American progressives for his anti-union policies and vocal opposition to same-sex marriage.

But then of course Harper is an anti-gay bigot himself, who just passed this foul anti-union bill.

And birds fascists of a feather flock together.

Oh well. Let's just give the last word on Trump to a good American like Homer Simpson...

And wonder what he would do if he ever met Stephen Harper...

Because I'm sure he would want a piece of Harper's hair helmet, and even he would know a hog bigot when he saw one.

Harper, Trump, Walker, three RepubliCons leading their parties to disaster.

And helping to ensure that the future belongs to us...

must have met with Scott Walker to get a few pointers on how to get rid of unions and have to reduce workers rights. of course Walker was very good at getting rid of public sector unions. perhaps good old steve was just getting some advise or asking him to set up an appt. with Trump for when he is out of a job in Canada.

I'm sure Trump doesn't mind hiring Mexican migrant workers, just so he can pay them less.
Trump and harper ought to make a good team they both want to bomb the middle east. this ought to be fun. Trump ought to watch out before he is the one being bombed. If he should actually be elected to president we might want to move a little further north in Canada to avoid the mess in the middle east being exported to north America.

    1. hi e.a.f....yes I think we can use that meeting with Walker in an attack ad. Especially since Walker is not only a fascist union basher, he's also trying to ban abortion. Whatever they discussed, by keeping it secret Harper looks guilty...

  2. No one in 'Merka should be surprised by Trump's big bump..the Repugs have encouraged bigotry and hatred for so many decades now that Trump's ascendancy seems preordained..
The fabulous part about it is that he will piss off all those voters who usually sit on their bums at election time..hopefully this energizes them to vote the Repugs out of existence
At this point, wonder if (T)Rum[ is the Democrats secret weapon..just be loud and outrageous and anger the citizens to the point where they have to go and do what they have ignored for so long..yes, American voters are just as bad as Canadians when it comes to exercising the franchise..
    Harper? He's toast...

    1. hi mizdarlin...yes it is disturbing that such a grotesque bigot would attract such a following. But as I said, all the better for the Democrats. And hopefully it will motivate even more Hispanic Americans to turn out and vote. Talk about giving away the future. And yes hopefully Harper won't be part of our future either...
