It's a Plane...It's a Bird...It's Pamela Wallin!!!

Well I knew it wouldn't be long before she was back in the news, and sure enough Pamela Wallin is back.

And not in a good way.

New court documents filed by the RCMP allege suspended senator Pamela Wallin fraudulently billed the Senate for more than $25,000 in expenses she incurred on trips to Toronto and Guelph “to pursue her personal and business interests.”

And of course the timing couldn't be worse.

Because if the RCMP can take these allegations to court.

“I believe that by submitting these 21 travel expense claims to the Senate Finance and Procurement Directorate for reimbursement under the representation that the activities she undertook were ‘Senate Business,’ Senator Wallin committed a fraud and a breach of trust by a public officer,” Cpl. Rudy Exantus wrote.

With the Mike Duffy trial now just a week away, Senategate could get even bigger and better !!!!

And let's not forget that Stephen Harper PERSONALLY reviewed Wallin's expenses, and found them to be "reasonable."

But then what do we expect eh?

When his corrupt Con regime is also being accused of massive fraud.

New family-focused tax breaks will bring federal spending on child care to nearly $8-billion a year, but a report shows the majority of that money will go to parents who do not claim childcare expenses and parents of teenagers.

Yes, it's true. Boss Harper's porky tax plan isn't exactly as billed. Surprise, surprise.

It will cost a fortune, but it is just a scheme to buy votes with OUR money.

The Conservative government announced last week that the additional 2015 payments will go to parents on July 20, retroactive to January 1. That means about four million families will receive hundreds of dollars from the government just three months before the Oct. 19 federal election.

Because they do have the money to bribe voters, but they don't have the money to fund enough meat inspectors.

The union representing Canada's meat inspectors says a critical shortage of inspectors is putting the safety of consumers at risk across the country. Bob Kingston, president of the Agriculture Union, told a news conference in Edmonton that only 12 of 18 meat hygiene inspection positions are filled at processing plants in northern Alberta.

In January, he said, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency also instructed staff in the northern part of the province to cut general sanitation inspection work by 50 per cent.

And that could KILL us.

"This government has a lot to say about protecting Canadians and I'm hoping they realize that these are more than just numbers on paper ... There are lives at risk -- the real likelihood that people are going to die."

And really what more can you say?

Except isn't it about time that those tainted Cons were recalled?

And when can we send the leader of that criminal conspiracy?

That ghastly Con hog.

To the place he rightfully belongs...

    1. hi Steve...well let's hope that most Canadians are better than that. There is no doubt that Harper's sordid reign has corrupted this country, and made us more brutish and greedy. But I'm hoping that people have finally had enough, and are ready for a change and something better...

it will be entertaining when those families who were so eager to receive their pork barrel $s have family members dying from tainted meat. Oh, well money is more important to most of those Cons so I guess the kids are expendable. First Nations kids have always been expendable for the Cons. Now the rest of the kids are also.

Risking children's lives by putting the food they eat at risk is a type of murder by neglect. I'm sure there must be a criminal charge along those lines.

    1. hi e.a.f...It's hard to believe that the Cons could be so shortsighted after the tragedies that have happened. And that they could order sanitation to be cut by fifty per cent AND in their beloved Alberta. But as you say they only care about money, they hate regulation for ideological reasons, and they are a threat to all of us...

  3. Steven Harper: "In terms of Senator Wallin, I have looked at the numbers. Her travel costs are comparable to any parliamentarian travelling from that particular area of the country over that period of time. For instance, last year Senator Wallin spent almost half of her time in the province she represents in the Senate. The costs are to travel to and from that province, as any similar parliamentarian would do."
