Stephen Harper and the Murderous Con War on Drugs

As you know, I can't criticize and denounce enough what Stephen Harper and his foul Con regime are doing to this country.

Just like I can't praise our Supreme Court enough for standing up to those beastly bullies, and defending our Canadian values.

And today I get to do both at the same time. By pointing out that if the court hadn't stopped the Cons three years ago from closing down Vancouver's Insite Clinic.

Sixteen people could have died yesterday.

Sixteen people overdosed on heroin at Vancouver's supervised injection site Sunday -- well exceeding the weekly average of 10, Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) spokesman Gavin Wilson said.

The spike is likely related to a potent batch of heroin that has police alerting local drug users. Vancouver police issued a warning Sunday night following a dozen overdoses and one death.

If they hadn't been fortunate enough, to be in this wonderfully caring and very Canadian place...

"While there may be overdoses there, there has never been a death resulting from an overdose because we have nursing staff on hand to ensure that doesn't happen," Wilson said.

Or should I say LUCKY enough. For let's not forget that even though they lost their long battle to close down Insite, the Cons then proceeded to make it almost impossible to set up a similar clinic anywhere else in Canada.

The federal government has introduced tough new rules for supervised drug injection sites in a move some see as an effort to stamp out such facilities. The proposed legislation would require advocates of new clinics to meet two dozen specific criteria before they can apply.

Among other things, they’d have to canvass community opinion and gain the support of provincial and municipal authorities. The federal cabinet then makes the final decision.

Even though the Vancouver clinic has saved thousands of lives, and helped rescue countless others from abject human misery...

Because let's not forget that the clinic is also a place where addicts can be reached and treated.

So why are the Cons prepared to sacrifice the lives of thousands of the poorest and most desperate Canadians on the altar of their savage ideology?

Answer: Because their depraved leader would seek to pleasure his rabid moralistic base, and the screaming demons in his head...

"This descent into nihilism... leads to silliness such as moral neutrality on the use of marijuana or harder drugs mixed with its random moral crusades on tobacco. It explains the lack of moral censure on personal foibles of all kinds, extenuating even criminal behaviour with moral outrage at bourgeois society, which is then tangentially blamed for deviant behaviour."

Who as you can see from that deranged rant, worthy of a religious fanatic or a fascist, obviously command him to hurt and punish people as much as he possibly can.

For he may be a clinical psychopath, and unable to feel the pain of his many victims. But he has admitted, in an unguarded moment, that he does enjoy seeing fear in the eyes of others.

Which no doubt also explains why he is charging ahead with his insane Great War on Marijuana, and Justin Trudeau.

So he can put even MORE Canadians in jail...

And pleasure his demons further.

Even though one of the country's most respected drug and mental health organizations has just joined many others in calling for marijuana to be legalized.

Marijuana should be legalized with strict controls to curb its use and social harms, the Toronto-based Centre for Addiction and Mental Health says.

Because they not only know drugs. They know the difference between sane and CRAZY.

As does the Canadian Public Health Association:

"Canada needs a public health approach to managing illegal psychoactive substances that de-emphasizes criminalization and stigma in favour of evidence-based strategies to reduce harm." Ian Culbert, the group’s executive director, said a different approach is needed than the current "war on drugs."

Oh boy. You know some people still ask me whether I really believe the Cons should be arrested.

And I say yes I do, not all of them, but some of them.

I believe that harm reduction should be the sacred principle of any government. And that the Con regime isn't a Canadian government it's an alien death cult.

I believe that those who would put their diseased ideology before the lives of the most vulnerable Canadians are guilty of MURDER.

I believe that the Cons should be defeated and removed from power, in the name of human decency.

And I firmly believe that their morally depraved leader should end up where he belongs...

For let's never forget this: SIXTEEN people could have died yesterday if Stephen Harper had been able to satisfy his bestial nature, and Insite wasn't there to save them.

Then let's all start thinking about what we can all do to defeat that cruel monster.

Before he drags us further into his ideological darkness.

And jails and kills more Canadians...

of course harper and his herd would let thousands of Canadians die. they are not fit to live. They are substance abusers and they don't vote for harper and his herd. Why would he care?

Letting addicts die is no big deal for harper and his herd. they've let plenty of others die. Just look at all the suicides of Vets and Armed Forces members. Does stevie care? Hell no. Its the cost of doing business.

if harper and his herd were so opposed to drugs and places like Insite, you'd think there would have been a national strategy for providing 60 day live in programs, with one yr follow ups and then providing the money for that. No that isn't happening either. Only the rich who can afford $20K for a rehab stint get that type of treatment. The rest aren't successful so in harper and his herd's eyes, they just don't count. Didn't you know god only loves the rich and successful.

    1. hi e.a.f...you know I think I could tolerate just about anything else the Cons have done, but when they are willing to put their filthy inhuman ideology before the lives of Canadians it really is the limit. The substance abusers may be humble but their lives are no less precious than any others. For that alone, they deserve to be removed from office...

  2. The Harperites who say they believe in Jesus should read what he said about the sheep and the goats:

    1. hi David...thanks for that Biblical story, it really is a good one, even if it did bring back memories of when I was the WORST pupil at my Sunday school. But it's a funny thing, I may be an atheist now, but I still consider myself a better Christian than any of the Cons. I keep waiting for the day when one of their ghastly prayer breakfasts is struck by a blot of lightning... ;)

    2. Well, Tommy Douglas was a Christian, and voted the "Greatest Canadian" of all time in the 2004 CBC series. Strombo was the dude who made the pitch for Douglas:
