The Day Rob Ford Was Confronted by a Topless Jogger

Well yesterday he came back from rehab, but refused to answer any questions from journalists.

All we got from him was a hollow apology, and a campaign speech.

But today Rob Ford was confronted by an ordinary citizen, who told him exactly what he thought of him.

And in so doing spoke for so many in Toronto.

Who are so sick of him embarrassing himself, his city, and his country.

And all Rob Ford could do was run like a CHICKEN.

No doubt like his good buddy Stephen Harper has instructed him to do...

Because as I told you the other day, Boss Harper and his Cons are now effectively managing the Ford campaign.

And the good news?

Ford can run, but he can't hide. And if he won't answer all those embarrassing questions reporters want to ask him.

Then wherever he goes, the people of Toronto will ask those questions for them.

Like Joe Killoran, my new hero, did today.

Yup. I bet it won't be long before the Fordzilla is wishing he was back in that luxury rehab. Or sucking on a crack pipe eh?

Because if he thought the last two months were hard, the next two months are going to be even harder.

We will not let that grubby bigot escape his past.

He will be held accountable.

And that Con hog is going down...

  1. Didn't they just give out the Order of Canada today? I think the shirtless jogger (hot one at that) deserves one for doing exactly what should have been done at the shameless campaign stop Ford made yesterday. Very nicely done and good choice of words.

    1. hi bcwaterboy...I have to agree with your opinion of the shirtless jogger. That's the best citizen confrontation with Ford I have ever seen. It needed to be said after the disgraceful way the Fordzilla is trying to dodge questions from the media. And of course, if it was up to me, Joe Killoran would be getting an Order of Canada TOMORROW... ;)

Ford deserves an award for the acting job he did. They must have done more than a few run throughs on that one. But hey if the voters of Toronto buy into it, they deserve him. Lets hope Chow gets her voters out and that will be the end of Ford, or at least one of them.

    1. hi e.a.f....yes it was quite a performance wasn't it? It was well written so he couldn't have written it himself. And he clearly spent a lot of time in the last few days rehearsing in front of a mirror, or more likely a spin doctor from the Con regime. They need to buff up his image badly for their own reasons, and from what I hear, they are now pulling his strings...

  3. His "rehab" has probably been focused media training. The Cons sent Hudak to the states for his, and in every appearance you could see him going through the scripted motions of body language and tone. We'll be seeing the very same from Ford over the next while, until he breaks again and is found drunk, drugged, and disheveled ranting at or about someone.

    1. hi Noah...yes, there's no doubt that Ford spent the last few days studying method acting. And I must admit for the first minute or so he almost had me fooled, until the mea culpa became Vote for Me !!!! But his message just doesn't make sense. He's telling us all that he's got a problem he can barely control, and will be fighting his craving for every drug under the sun for the rest of his life, and that stress could drive him over the deep end, and hoping that we'll feel sorry enough to make him mayor again? Hmmm...something tells me it's not going to work... :)

  4. Im in love with Joe Killoran, his Fordian Confrontation was the best piece of news footage I have ever seen.
It was way better then watching Ford smoke crack and Toronto can be proud that the same city that produced and promoted jerks like bob and doug, also produced superheroes like Mr Killoran.
This polisci teacher that happpened to be jogging needs to get into politics and fight for his city, it was great seeing him. I hope he keeps popping up on the Ford campaign trail, Olivia chow should hire him to do so:)

  5. hi deb...you can't be in love with him I am !!!!!!! Oh wait, you can. I forgot he's straight !#@!!!!! But seriously I was incredibly impressed by Joe Killoran, with or without his shirt on. He delivered his message loudly but without being offensive or vulgar. After reading some stories about him I can see that he is a very good teacher. And yes we need more people like in politics to really shake things up. ...
