The Day Benny and Steve Got Hitched

Oh no. How could I have been so wrong?

This is no mere bromance, no sordid one or fifty-night stand.

This the real thing.

Harper tweeted on Saturday that he spoke to Netanyahu and that he "thanked Canada for its friendship and principled position this week at the UN."

A love story so red hot it melts the boundaries of decency. Stretches the bonds of sadism. Blows its way from Ottawa rural Alberta to Jerusalem. And ejaculates in the face of reason.

Israeli settlement plans in a strategically sensitive area of occupied land near East Jerusalem would deal "an almost fatal blow" to peace hopes, UN head Ban Ki-moon has warned."It would represent an almost fatal blow to remaining chances of securing a two-state solution," Mr Ban said.

But then why should we be shocked eh? When Benny and his right-wing settler regime would do anything to sabotage the peace process. Steve would do anything to pleasure Benny, appease his rabid religious base, and win Pierre Trudeau's old riding.

In Israel the Cons are considered more Likudnik than the Likudnik.

Israel Hayom, Israel's largest circulation daily newspaper, said: "When he discusses the Palestinian issue, Baird sounds like he could have voted in this week's Likud primaries." Likudniks agree. At a reception for Baird before departing Israel, Likud Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz mocked in jest, "I think Canada's an even better friend of Israel than we are."

And John Baird, the nerd from Nepean, dreams of working on a KIBBUTZ ?????

Earlier this year, the Jerusalem Post led its coverage of Baird's visit to Israel with an anecdote from a magazine interview with the foreign minister. "If you weren't in politics, what would you want to be doing?" "Likely working on a kibbutz in Israel," answered Baird.

Can you believe that eh?

And can you believe that Baird can't seem to understand that he is the Foreign Minister of Canada not Israel. Or that by supporting the brutish Netanyahu regime, he is not doing ANYBODY any favours.

The prime minister portrays himself as a staunch ally of Israel, and tends to brand those who don’t agree with him as anti-Semitic and bully them — as discovered by the Christian ecumenical group Kairos, the Canadian Arab Federation and Palestine House, whose funding was cut, and Montreal-based Rights and Democracy, which was destroyed.

In fact, what Harper has done is to take sides with the right wing in an ideological and political struggle within Israel and the Jewish diaspora.

Just pleasuring Great Depraved Leader, who would play politics with the misery of others, and lead us all to war and disaster.

Oh boy. Now that Benny and Steve are officially hitched, I'll be changing the script on this one eh?

And giving Benny a leash, and Steve a collar.

But for the sake of decency, our poor country, and world peace.

Until the day we get rid of those ghastly Likud Cons.

I'm keeping the R-rating...

  2. hi lefty...I'm glad you found it funny. When I finished writing it I thought I probably should have written it differently, for it is a serious and tragic subject. But it is the darkness of December, and sometimes just mocking those ghastly Cons makes me feel so much better.... ;)

Cus mocking is all you got, you sure don't have political power.

  4. hi anonymous....yes of course you're right at the present time we have no political power. But that's why we mock the Cons, to soften them up and make them look ridiculous (which isn't hard) before we defeat them. And of course because I love to laugh a lot... ;)

    P.S. Doesn't everyone?
