The Australia Fires and the Wrath of God

As the walls of flame sweep across Australia killing more than 180 people, a crazy Christianist blames the tragedy on the wrath of God.

“In my dream I saw fire everywhere with flames burning very high and uncontrollably. With this I woke up from my dream with the interpretation as the following words came to me in a flash from the Spirit of God."

“That His conditional protection has been removed from the nation of Australia, in particular Victoria, for approving the slaughter of innocent children in the womb.”

Just like this other crazy Christianist said Katrina was God's punishment for New Orleans.

Now this kind of stuff drives ME crazy. And when I checked with his Holiness Ceiling Cat he was pretty mad too.

But I managed to calm him down by pointing out that the Christianist God may hate people, but teh peepuls LOVES koalas.

It was amazing, he turned around, sat on his bum and sort of looked at me with (a look) like, put me out of my misery,I yelled out for a bottle of water. I unscrewed the bottle, tipped it up on his lips and he just took it naturally. He kept reaching for the bottle, almost like a baby.

Yup. Who needs an angry vengeful God when we've got kind people? Taking care of other people and the wonderful creatures of this world.

You see Ceiling Cat ....dat's what really counts. The rest is just hateful garbage

All you've got to do is give dem crazy Christianists a little rope. LOL.

And they'll hang demselves...

  1. stop letting the cons lead your attention. CLAIM the goddam field man, and make it your own.

don't you understand how we have ended up with absurd and incontrovertible buzzwords like 'pro-life'?

  3. I love the shots I have seen of people feeding water to the koala bears. That asshole preacher deserves the wrath of the ceiling cat and worse. I'm hoping the more we hear about these fringe lunatics, the more people will realize that siding with them is siding with idiocy and hatred.

  4. Hi unokhan...I'm sorry but I don't understand. I'm feeling a little dummy this evening. But I guess that's obvious.
I probably should have been more serious. It is a serious story and you're right to point out the irony of those who would celebrate death and call themselves pro-life. And while we're at it I probably should have pointed out that global warming is to blame. And what is happening in Australia is probably going to happen in a lot of other places soon.
But I find the world so grim these days and my friends don't call me laffy (a combination of laugh and daffy duck i believe) so waddya expect?
And besides I really wanted to share that story about the koala because it really moved me, and I figured if I just wrote about that nobody would take me seriously.Huh?
I'll try to be grimmer tomorrow... :)

  6. Hi Beijing...yes those poor little animals. I've seen a forest of eucalyptus trees burn in South America and the oils in the leaves go up like gasoline.
As for that hideous Christianist as I wrote in the post I can only hope it makes more people realize what a hateful thing religion has become.
But I have to correct you about one thing: There is nothing worse than the wrath of Ceiling Cat... :)
