Luckily I have great neighbours, except for the grumpy old guy down the street, who claims he can hear me playing my (accoustic) guitar
half a block away. But he's clearly a Con agent... ;) Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15309809679331128837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23253782.post-49598899797170009712012-11-10T22:53:33.015-05:002012-11-10T22:53:33.015-05:00hi Lorne...yes you're right. I had a gay couple for neighbors. They couldn't have been nicer to me.

I had taken dinner and a cake over to them, when they were moving in. They were hesitant, apprehensive and asked me if, I knew they were gay? I told them, I had guessed that. I said, they would be my friends and neighbors, unless they proved otherwise. They were the best neighbors, I ever had.

Others in the hood, were very critical towards me. I told them the same. They will be my friends and neighbors, and that's the way it's going to stay. Only one house snubbed me in the end. That was fine with me. I hadn't liked them, from the first day I had met them. Many a time, I had to get a grip on my Irish temper. They were so much better than the rest of us. At least that's how they behaved.Gloriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16942564753572958672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23253782.post-11952509522881723552012-11-10T08:12:35.748-05:002012-11-10T08:12:35.748-05:00It really is amazing, isn't it, Simon, what ca...It really is amazing, isn't it, Simon, what can be accomplished when people put aside their differences and join in a common purpose for the betterment of all.Lornehttp://www.politicsanditsdiscontents.blogspot.canoreply@blogger.com
