Shukeiri (Shukairy)
{6 years before 1967 war and 41 years before security anti terror defense barrier}
Ahmad al-Shuqairy, ash-Shuqayri, Shukeiri, Shukeiry , Shukairi, Shukairy:

* At WW2, he and his friends used to pray for Hitler's victories and for the defeat of Britain. (His own admission).
* Escaped in the 1940's with his associate Al-husseini, mufti of Jerusalem, Hitler's ally.
* He "had suggested that Palestinian and Libya's ulama' invite Mussolini to adopt a policy of non-cooperation with zionists and to treat them as the nazis were doing." (Arab source)
* Was a Nazis apologist.
* A (1965) report, tells of him leaving the Russians, switching over to Hitler's side, to support Hitler's anti Jewish war.
* 1946: Before the partition and almost 2 years before the modern State of Israel was established, he spoke about "race." About a decade later he said Jews are not a race nor a nation.
* End of 1940s, "compared Israel's economic planning for Jerusalem with Hitler's planning for a Nazi ruled Europe".
* In 1952 compared plight of living Arab refugees to millions perished in WW2.
* October, 1960 compared Israel to nazis, adopting holocaust denier' Issa Nakhleh's epithets (who initiated vilifying falsely racialized lingo in June 17, 1949).
* Invented the "apartheid" slur in Oct. 1961 at his UN diatribe (UN's 16th session). He also -at the same speech- objected to Eichmann being tried in Israel. It was on October 17, 1961.
Almost 6 years before the six-day war which some call it an "occupation". Some 41 years before the security barrier anti terror defense erected in Israel. He used the then momentum in U.N. against South Africa. So he just compared it to S.A. So he just compared it to S.A. That meme he uttered after already branding Israel with Nazi label, then he "dropped" "levels down." At the same speech of "apartheid" comparison, he objected to Eichmann being tried in Israel. Then again later on he jumped up levels and said: "nastier than Fascism, uglier than Nazism." (Which its roots are in Holocaust-denier Issa Nakhleh's wording in June-17-1949, who by Nov-14-1972 said Hitler did "not" kill Jews).
That and much like this, is of his legacy of wild labels-slapping, since enshrined in PLO charter.
* In Dec. 6, 1961, he denied there was any anti Semitism in the world claiming zionists "created" it. At the time he also questioned a Catholic member's loyalty stating he's Jewish. He also argued he's not Anti Semite because he's Semitic himself...
* In Nov. 30, 1962 praised, saluted infamous nazi gang Tacuara, some 5 months after (on 21 June 1962) they brutally attacked, carved swastikas on a 19 year old student as a "revenge" for eliminating Eichmann. He was fired by Saudi Arabia from UN post shortly after, over this. Apparently this was too much even for them to handle.
* Dec.1962: Just before being fired from UN over saluting Nazi gang, he led an attack to pin Nazism label on Zionism.
* Called to annihilate Jews in Israel, 1967: 'a war of extermination in which not a man, woman, or child should be spared,' observing: "none of them will survive." (After Arabs' defeated war, he complained why he is singled out since this was Arab outlook as a whole).An eye openerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06099302226423720627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23253782.post-81432021613321005202015-03-22T08:54:10.305-04:002015-03-22T08:54:10.305-04:00hi Pamela...I agree with you the peace process has...hi Pamela...I agree with you the peace process has been a farce, and Israel has been able to sabotage every hopeful initiative. But it's game is being challenged, I'm hopeful that more pressure than ever can be exerted even on the Netanyahu regime. And who knows if he might not end up being able to play the same role Nixon did with China. At least that is my fervent hope, because that horrible situation can't end soon enough...Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15309809679331128837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23253782.post-47652383108557753292015-03-22T08:51:01.540-04:002015-03-22T08:51:01.540-04:00hi Mizdarlin...I understand what you're saying...hi Mizdarlin...I understand what you're saying, but history is like a river, circumstances change, and Israel has never been so criticized and isolated. But what is clear to me is that a country cannot occupy another for such a long time without being corrupted. So it is in Israel's interest as well to reach a peace agreement. Because as many have pointed out you can have democracy or brutality, but you can't have both...Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15309809679331128837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23253782.post-72619607980318604412015-03-22T08:44:30.955-04:002015-03-22T08:44:30.955-04:00hi Kirby...I realize the peace process has been sy...hi Kirby...I realize the peace process has been systematically sabotaged by Israel for as long as I can remember. But I think there is some room for optimism. Netanyahu's grotesque victory has shocked even some of Israel's strongest supporters in the U.S. and made it clear who doesn't want peace. The Europeans are in an uproar, so Benny may have to bend, and hopefully some kind of agreement can finally be reached. But if I'm wrong you can definitely call me a hopeless optimist again... ;)Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15309809679331128837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23253782.post-89133134153634525732015-03-21T18:03:49.390-04:002015-03-21T18:03:49.390-04:00The peace process has never worked, it's just ...The peace process has never worked, it's just a cover for Israel to confiscate more palestinian land and build more settlements. Yes the Palestinians and some Israelis want peace, but the Palestinians have been the losers in each peace agreement. How do the Palestinians negotiate with some one who's got them by the throat. I don't believe in violence as a solution either. The world cannot continue to be indifferent to Israels apartheid against the Palestinians. Until the US stops supporting the US and the rest of the world pressures Israel diplomatically to stop their war crimes against Palestine and come to a fair agreement that both countries can benefit by, things will remain the same. Israel is determined to have all Palestinians leave. They have had a free hand in treating the Palestinians with force, oppression and genocide since 1948. The world watched. Now it's time for the world to act on behalf of the Palestinian people. That won't be happening none to soon though.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07842215982128591742noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23253782.post-10501950280669780042015-03-21T12:05:31.136-04:002015-03-21T12:05:31.136-04:00We all know that the definition of insanity is doi...We all know that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results...this political party is fascist, they are neo-Nazis as far as I'm concerned (and my family background is Jewish) and it doesn't seem any different then after Germany collapsed in fear after WW1..the difference is, Germany was so badly treated as the loser, they hadn't much choice...today, Israel has plenty of plenty and could have chosen to vote for peace...they did not..and now they will reap what they sow..the entire world is disgusted.mizdarlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14442803514546577849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23253782.post-75516325403519066022015-03-21T08:51:59.722-04:002015-03-21T08:51:59.722-04:00Years ago when South Africa still had aparthied, I...Years ago when South Africa still had aparthied, I was reading a news group where a South African participant was quite indignent when someone said that Israel was an apartheid state like South Africa. The naive supporters and apologists always wilfully looked the other way as Israel gradually took the land and pretended to want peace. Now that the Israel government itself has more or less blatantly admitted that it is not interested in peace or a just settlement, we progressive are left to shake our heads and say, "Yeah, we told you this all along and you ridiculed us, but the jig is up now." But will that make any difference? I seriously doubt it. That's the saddest part of all.
