I must admit I was a bit depressed. There was only a couple of posts I would have liked to keep. But it's just that the thing was so sudden. I had only just begun a post when my hand brushed the mouse. The cursor just happened to be on publish. Whammo it was gone. Then I thought uh oh it'll appear like that on the blogroll I just joined. All those serious bloggers will be shaking their heads and saying "Oh boy is that fag a dummy, or what? Or thinking it anyway. So sweat running down my brow I just panicked I rushed to delete it,hit and confirmed the delete button, suddenly realised what I had done, but by then it was too late. With just 3.2 GHZ it was gone in two seconds. Bang just like that. I couldn't believe it. But I'm laughing now. It's good to have blogger friends like you out there.
And don't worry I won't do it again Although I'm fiddling with the template so anything might happen. BTW I'm going to rely heavily on that djinn thing for my defence.
But somehow I feel I'll still be found guilty of being a klutz.Simonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15309809679331128837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23253782.post-1141321566835534392006-03-02T12:46:00.000-05:002006-03-02T12:46:00.000-05:00Probably a djinn in the machine...for more on this...Probably a djinn in the machine...
for more on this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23253782.post-1141317408457164602006-03-02T11:36:00.000-05:002006-03-02T11:36:00.000-05:00Simon, I wondered what had happened. fortunately, ...Simon, I wondered what had happened. fortunately, Klutz is not a permanent condition and is not transferable, so the prognosis is good.
As to how you should position your blog, that's your decision. The boys in the bunker need to understand that you need to do whatever is comfortable for you. I'll like the blog no matter what, as I like the way you express yourself, but a one hook topic can limit the scope of your readers.
As to the Mexico situation, I don't think this is a Natalie Holloway situation. These folks were middle aged Italo-Canadians, not a pretty white girl American, and there is obviously a coverup going on that involves accusing other Canadians of heinous crimes without any viable evidence. That makes it a crime against forensic procedures, as well as an attempt to protect the local tourist industry. While I have no problem with their attempts to diffuse concerns about tourism, I do have a problem with the issues surrounding the case that could, possibly lead to some other tourists suffering the same fate because this had not been professionally investigated. For example, my senior citizen sister and husband have a time share in Cancun. should I worry that they might be in danger because the Mexican police have not taken, to my mind, adequate steps to apprehend the perpetrators in this case?
I'm sorry you lost your archives, but don't despair. Give the boys in the bunker some hugs, and send directions. I can be the Grandmom.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
