The Final Meltdown of the Monster Donald Trump

As we all know Donald Trump is now unshackled, going after the Democrats and the Republicans.

And of course trying to smear Bill Clinton, even though he's not running for anything.

But Trump's desperate attempts to deflect attention off his reputation as a sexual predator seems seem to be backfiring spectacularly.

Because now he's been hit by another sordid scandal.

And now one of his alleged victims is comparing him to an octopus

More than three decades ago, when she was a traveling businesswoman at a paper company, Ms. Leeds said, she sat beside Mr. Trump in the first-class cabin of a flight to New York. They had never met before.

About 45 minutes after takeoff, she recalled, Mr. Trump lifted the armrest and began to touch her. According to Ms. Leeds, Mr. Trump grabbed her breasts and tried to put his hand up her skirt.

“He was like an octopus,” she said. “His hands were everywhere.”

While another one is accusing him of kissing her inappropriately.

And needless to say Donald Trump is extremely agitated.

“None of this ever took place,” said Mr. Trump, who began shouting at the Times reporter who was questioning him. He said that The Times was making up the allegations to hurt him and that he would sue the news organization if it reported them.

“You are a disgusting human being,” he told the reporter as she questioned him about the women’s claims.

Like some wounded beast...

But the fact is Trump is only being accused of acting like he claimed he liked to treat women in that disgusting tape on the bus.

And how does he deny this appalling behaviour?

Four women who competed in the 1997 Miss Teen USA beauty pageant said Donald Trump walked into the dressing room while contestants — some as young as 15 — were changing.

“I remember putting on my dress really quick because I was like, ‘Oh my god, there’s a man in here,’” said Mariah Billado, the former Miss Vermont Teen USA.

Trump, she recalled, said something like, “Don’t worry, ladies, I’ve seen it all before.”

When he boasted about doing that on the Howard Stern show.

“I’ll tell you the funniest is that I’ll go backstage before a show and everyone’s getting dressed,” Trump told Howard Stern in recordings released Saturday by CNN. “No men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in, because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it. … ‘Is everyone OK?’ You know, they’re standing there with no clothes. ‘Is everybody OK?’ And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.”

But forgot to mention that some of the beauty queens he "inspected" were as young as fourteen.

I mean is any sister, or daughter, or any other woman safe? And is Trump The Octopus, or the Creature Pervert From The Black Lagoon?

Or just a monstrous loser?

Donald Trump may be free from the “shackles” of the Republican party establishment, but he has fallen behind Hillary Clinton according to a several new polls released in the wake of Trump’s obscene comments about sexually assaulting women.

Clinton now leads Trump by an average margin of six percentage points, according to the Real Clear Politics (RCP) average of major polls.

And according to the FiveThirtyEight election tracker, Clinton has an 86 per cent chance of winning the White House, compared to Trump’s 14 per cent odds. This is a significant swing from just over two weeks ago when Trump had a 45 per cent chance of winning the presidency compared to Clinton’s 55 per cent chance.

Heading for a humiliating loss, and preparing to take half the Republican Party down with him.

And really, can you blame the Democrats for calling it the Final Meltdown?

You know, I take no pleasure from this sordid campaign. It sickens me, and I would have preferred to see Trump defeated because he was unqualified to be President, by every possible measure.

But he was the one who dragged it into his sewer, or his Black Lagoon.

And here's the good news.

In just twenty-six days, the monster will be gone.

And America will be a safer, cleaner, and more decent place...

...and then the Topol-M warheads will commence their re-entry. You'll have a few minutes to enjoy the sound of air-raid sirens, while the news anemically announces the end of the world was we know it. There will be a blinding white flash, the shock-wave from the over-pressure will collapse most buildings, and probably liquefy most of your internal organs. I haven't sufficiently researched the effects of nuclear detonation, but assuming major cities are on the priority list of Russian targets, that's what we can anticipate.

She wants war with Russia. What a great idea!

Don'cha just love ending posts in ellipses? Makes writing cheery remarks like this so much easier.

Hopefully the monster will be gone from mainstream in 28 days. However, if he joins forces with Hannity and Ailes to form Trump media, he will be a constant nag on the world. Hoping that his income tax situation in Britain takes up some of his energy, and that Ivanka looses her market to flog her hand bags.

Simon, last fall we thought our Canadian election was stressful...its been years since I've been concerned about global nuclear meltdown. Here's hoping that after Nov 8, cooler heads will prevail.

Unfortunately, even if he loses he won't be gone. The GOP are facing a serious civil war between the small "c" conservatives and big "C" Crazies, and Trump, will no doubt play a major role in that war. There is also talk that he is planning to start his own news station that will be more rightwing than FOX and will be the primary platform for the alt-right who are, despite the mess of this election, planning to take over the US. I think what the US is really facing is either the break-up of the two party system, or the break up of the country itself.

I take no pleasure from this sordid campaign

I think I am beginning to. Trump should never have made it to the Republican Primaries. Since Trump won the nomination I have been watching the train wreak of American politics with a sort of bemused horror.

However the last few days of watching and listening to Republican sleaze artists scurrying from Trump like cockroaches when one turns on the kitchen light has been heartwarming.

Steven Sackur's interview with Grover Norquist on Hardtalk, which I caught on early morning CBC today, was a joy.

Who is the 'she" you refer to?

My concern is what happens if Democrats sweep the House and Senate while also taking the Presidency? I would like a moderating influence on some of the Democrat policies. ~GS

On a scale of 1 to 10 what is more more important. a) Trump gropes women,b) US backed Saudis repeatedly bomb Yemen hospitals and kill civilians c) Hillary promotes a Syrian no fly zone to protect civilians and by inference is prepared to start ww3 in the name of humanity if Russia violates the air space.Something is terribly rotten when the warmongering rhetoric gets a pass and its all Trump groping 24/7.Hillary needs to be given a clear message but the crooked media is hard at work distracting the American people until its too late.

Oh, don't be so thick.

Hey look, we accidentally another war! http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/10/13/pentagon-hopes-it-didn-t-just-start-another-war.html

This entire campaign was a massive train wreck. Sadly, this is exactly what happens when irrational anger and fear replace reasoned political discourse. The Republicans are only now starting to figure this out (or at least some of the more intelligent ones have) and are now trying desperately to figure out how to stuff the proverbial genie back into a bottle that broke months ago.

The US Election is for sure a Buckley's event. Same feeling I had a year ago. No matter which way it goes let's get it behind because I was sick of the non stop campaigning. The concept is that one is elected to do a job. The paid part of that job does not include campaigning for oneself.

some of the more intelligent ones
There are any left? Even Ray-gun Ronnie's party had sensible, intelligent people. Now the term "deplorable" is a compliment.

hi anon...I don't think for a moment that Clinton wants war with Russia. She is an experienced diplomat and would be a far more stabilizing figure than the idiot and mentally deranged Trump could ever be...

hi TS...yes it's interesting, Citizen Kane was on TV last night, and Trump seems to be doing a Kane in reverse. Kane creates a newspaper empire and then runs unsuccessfully for governor. While Trump is running for President, and when he fails will use the popularity he has gained, to create an alt-right media empire. And I share your feeling about the situation we are living through. It is truly terrifying and I long for the day when we don't have to worry about some tyrant taking us all down with him...

Simon said...

hi Kirby...yes you're probably right. Trump will probably be with us for a while. He will almost certainly try to create a new right-wing network, but whether it would last remains to be seen. And since Trump puts his business interests above all things, I can easily see him giving up, and becoming some kind of Citizen Kane in his own perverted Xanadu. He is after all seventy, and it remains to be seen how much stamina he has to keep on fighting what will in the end be a losing battle. For a new generation is taking over, they don't like his bigotry, and they will determine the future. Demography is destiny, but somehow a lot of people seem to forget that....

hi jrkrideau...I am happy at the way the campaign seems to be going, but the spectacle both disgusts me and depresses me. I never could imagine so many people rejecting reason, or stooping so low. And I thought the Harper years were a nightmare. I long for the day when I can put politics in its place, and just start living a normal quiet life. Or writing about my many other interests....

Simon said...

hi GS...I don't think the Democrats are going to be able to sweep the House and the Senate. They might win the Senate, but even if they gain quite a few seats, there are just too many Republicans in the House to be able to evict them in this election. And a Senate House split would probably be a good thing as it would force them both to work together, instead of having the perpetual gridlock that characterised the Obama years...

Simon said...

hi RT....well don't forget to factor in to that equation the fact that the Russians are bombing hospitals and humanitarian convoys in Aleppo so there are no countries that don't have blood on their hands. And do you think that a Trump war on Iraq would serve any good interest except those of Israel? And what about the battle against climate change? Do you think we would be better off with a rabid climate change denier in charge, when global warming is the greatest threat we face, and could spark wars all over the planet? No, I think the media is doing its job and trying to head off a maniac from seizing power....

Simon said...

hi Way Way Up... you're right about that, it is a complete train wreck. The Republicans created this mess by pandering to the tea baggers, and now the chickens have come home to roost. Some American pundit whose name escapes me right now claimed that this election would be like chemotherapy for the Republican Party. But let just hope it doesn't kill us all...

Simon said...

hi anon...it is a Buckley's event, and the polarization is now so complete, I can't imagine how they can ever be reconciled. My hope is that the left will be able to siphon off those Trumpets who want real change, and leave the racists isolated and fighting themselves. But I've never felt such a sense of dread, and who knows what might happen...

I do not support Trump but just pointing out the fact that the media has enabled the warmongering elite to create this mess starting with the Bush weapons of mass destruction and all the other sound bites that followed.Canada even got caught up in the fervor for a number of years and its still lurking just beneath the surface.
They have now fractured US society to the point where nothing but a good war will unify the troops. A soon as they eliminate Trump the media will turn to Russian aggression 24/7 with Hillary leading the charge.Russia sees it coming and have made a political statement by calling all the family members of their diplomats home.Hopefully western society will remain too fractured/disenchanted/smart to hear the war cry.

If that's the case, then why is Jill Stein saying it...?

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/10/12/jill_stein_hillary_clintons_declared_syria_policy_could_start_a_nuclear_war.html

Must be that the Green Party Candidate is a secret Republican or something...
